1.
Perhaps someone could kindly point out to Glenn Roeder that Norwich is a City not a Town. A Fine City all the signs used to say.
"around the town " is an expression that is colloquially used for virtually any size community, from a village to a city. There used to be a radio programme called "In Town Tonight" about goings on in London. Not yet another Little Norwicher, please ....
 2.
Have a look at our results last season and the final league table. Next take Ernies goals out of the equation and recalculate and see where we would have finished up! Any more daft questions?
Hang on, weren''t the results without him (after his injury) no worse than with him? I might be wrong, but I seem to remember this being the case. Not a big fan, to be honest, & not the sort of player needed at the mo.
 3.
You can''t make something confidential just by sticking the word "confidential" on it. Under law it must have the necessary quality of confidentiality as well. Its a bit of a minefield but I think Archant are right not to print these private messages where the person answering the question has clearly requested that they remain private, regardless of whether it is truly a legal issue. My main beef is not this, but the moderators allowing one liners such as "you''re all sheep" or "you''re a binner" or even "here we go again, head in the sand, pathetic people happy with mediocrity" and the like which bullys others into not posting their thoughts. Frankly too much trolling goes on which could easily be weeded out. If this site is to remain as a forum for debate then I would suggest Archant needs to get a grip on that asap. Otherwise it''ll turn into certain other sites full of petty and vindictive squabbles.
I''m afraid it''s already turned into that kind of site. Fortunately there are some decent posters left, but they''re getting fewer all the time. I expect the hate content will rise until teaam performances improve
 4.

My only observation on this is when I have posted on here containing a reference to an Archant journalist that part of the post had been deleted. There has been nothing offensive within the posts so wonder why they do this? Answers please  moderators.
I''ve discovered that a reference to nurse beating is not allowed either!
Or pointing out quotes misattributed to Christine Keeler
 5. Conspiracy theorists, don''t you just love ''em? Anyway, everybody knows it''s ME they''re really after ...
 6.

Delia''s a nice woman. In my opinion a very nice woman. In a very caring, womanly way, she''s trying to make NCFC a cosy, comfortable, family friendly club (a local club for local people?!). Which is nice & I like
I hate this provincial crap.  It''s like the smug pats on the head from journalists and the media, not helped by Delia''s attitude or Donkaster''s "prudence with ambition" motto.  Oooh, look at Little Norwich!  Aren''t they plucky!  Aren''t they doing well to even have a professional team!  Do you know, they sell Delia''s pies at half time.  And there''s a restaurant?  What''s that?  The football?  Who cares, look.  We might see Delia herself in the box at half-time, isn''t that lovely!  Now what colour do they play in again? In terms of catchment area, season ticket sales, captive market, attendances, we could and SHOULD be better, so much better, than this.
You conveniently omitted the rest of my post. You seem to be so enraged by the possibility of supporters actually wanting a club that sees a cosy, comfortable, family friendly club as virtues (as opposed to smashing up seats, urinating in the street & knifing opposition supporters, perhaps? Would this be macho enough for you?). That you failed to note my point that perhaps THIS IS PART OF THE PROBLEM. At the height of the craze for violence at matches, the police cited an effect they called "Capitalism";  fans at provincial clubs were trying to outdo the "big" London clubs in terms of how much mayhem they could cause. Perhaps it might show less of a provincial attitude to ignore perceived slights from outsiders & just get on with supporting your team.
 7.

One poster has already offered to put up one thousand pounds.  I’ll second that.  So that’s two.
Make that three   And I''m serious
Could Archant arrange for a photographer to take pictures of these three handing their cheques over to Mr Doncaster.
For Christ''s sake READ THE POST
 8. I''ll warrant she''s never had to kick lumps out of a trained gorilla from the Conference on a frosty January afternoon ... (apologies to Blackadder). But is this is the root of the problem? Delia''s a nice woman. In my opinion a very nice woman. In a very caring, womanly way, she''s trying to make NCFC a cosy, comfortable, family friendly club (a local club for local people?!). Which is nice & I like. Unfortunately, this attitude has rubbed off on the players as well. Which I do not like. Do you remember when we brought in loanees last year? They''d look great for the first game, mediocre next, then disappear off the radar. Why bother when few others do. Promotion was also a traumatic experience, as Derby are now finding out. I''ve posted before that there were only a couple of players with Premiership ability AND attitude in that team; OK, most have now left, but the "what''s the point, we''re not good enough" legacy remains. Roeder''s got a Helluva job on his hands; it looks like it''s rapidly dawning on him. I have hopes, though, that he has the right stuff to do it. Whatever we can do, if it''s simply supporting the team, we MUST do to give him a chance.

 10.
Yankee your first paragraph gives the game away and shows where you''re really coming from.  Your so-called "strategy" is merely an exceptionally longwinded way to try and take the heat off Delia & Co on this message board - which appears to be your mission in life, I know not why.  It took nearly 18 months of concerted pressure to oust Robert Chase.  This time round, it''s true that a very few have seen this coming for ages but the penny has yet to drop in really substantial numbers.  If you think anyone is going to be flattered by seeing their name on your fantasy board of directors, you''re very wrong.  We''ve only just started Yankee, and if you think we''re going to fall for such a transparent diversionary tactic you''re very very wrong. DELIA OUT!
And your proposed solution is ?
 11. Bloody Hell!  Just about the most intelligent & imaginitive post I''ve seen on here - or anywhere else for that matter That should put the cat amongst the Smudgers. Not convinced about your choice of CEO though; does modesty forbid???   P.S. It''s still "uninterested" not "disinterested" & still too many players display the former condition.
 12.
An amoeba would be better than the sh*te we currently have.
Nice one !!!!!
 13.
Steady on Blahx3, this is a disgruntled forum for disgruntled posters, we will have no trouble here.
We didn''t burn him .......
 14.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes managed 7 marathons in 7 days, did he not? and he was 59 [:)]
Competitively????? Hmmm .... And he ran the last one at 5 m.p.h.,  just over walking pace. Sort of proves my point, really.
 15. Another excellent post. Far too rational for this message board. Nil carborundum desperandum
 16.

Utter twaddle.Professional footballers (is that what we have at CR these days?) should be capable of playing twice in 3 days from time to time.Get real.
You obviously don''t know much about the physiological aspects of sport do you. It doesn''t matter how much you get paid or how fit you are even the best athletes on this planet will struggle with only 48h between games. The same applies for most similar sports like rugby. These players are not super human and the physical exertion will take it''s toll, this will be detrimental to their performance.
You obviously do not read posts Marty. I did qualify my comment by saying "from time to time".I''d agree if they were doing it week in,day in day out.But once in a while makes not a ha''puth of difference.Like the other guy said,Barnsley and Blackpool did OK last night.
So, on that basis, a marathon runner should be able to run one race straight after another? - As long as he only does it "occasionally".
 17.   This is a reply to McD''s Perm, but I keep getting "non-matching quote blocks" - Mods why is this? Totally agree with this one; which reminded me, anybody watching " The Life & Times of Vivienne Vyle"? Brilliant satire on crud daytime TV - & last week she was at a footie match, complaining that " if that bloody cook can have a club then why can''t I!" (or words to that effect).
 18.
In fairness, if you read the linked pages in albyellas post you''ll read some very realistic & commendatory posts from the saner Ippo fans. I really do think we should lighten up a bit about the whole Ipswich /Norwich thing & have a bit more of a sense of humour about it. Anyway, they can''t help their webbed appendages, it''s genetic.
Oops! Sorry. Cock-up on the contributor front; it was SPat''s link http://www.clubfanzine.com/ipswich_town/showNews.php?id=5320&page=display&match=571&pageno=1 Well worth a read

 20. THAT was what mattered yesterday. Yes, I know if Norwich don''t get wins they''ll be relegated, but the point is, if they keep playing like that they won''t be. Ask yourself, if Norwich had played as in previous weeks but they''d scraped a lucky win (say, for example, Ipswich''s 2nd goal had been ruled out of play) would that have been better? Individual matches can hinge on moments of outrageous fortune, that''s one of the things thst mskes football so exciting, but strength of character will get you through when luck turns against you. That had been totally lacking before yesterday. To come back from 2-0 down showed real spirit. It''s early days, but I like the look of Roeder. His clenched fist salute didn''t look like an empty gesture, more an expression of quiet, gritty determination. Yes, that was just one match, one performance; now Roeder must make them do that week in, week out - & the crowd - they were FANTASTIC yesterday. I believe their passion & loyalty can make a huge difference. OTBC!!!
 21. Must say I really liked his attitude on the official site interview, genuinely seemed to believe we''re all in this together - himself, players, fans, everyone - & wasn''t going to worry about what had gone on before, just go at it hell for leather. Thinking back, I always found him an odd manager; he seemed introverted & worried a lot of the time, but then he got some wonderful performances out of his teams. Then it would all go wrong. I thought he was finished after the brain tumour, but came back well with Newcastle before being truly unlucky with injuries. I don''t know how how people can call him articulate, though; he often reminds me of a Mr. D. Beckham when interviewed. However, you can discern real intelligence, &, as he showed in the above interview, an unexpecterd amount of passion & bravery. Thus far, I''m more impressed with him than I ever was with the garrulous Grant. It could be (surprisingly) emotional.
