  1. I''m not a big fan of Palace, Simon Jordan or Neil Warnock but... I can''t believe how well they have done!! There is a good comparison between ourselves and them... (wait for it...) The link below is to the tables on October 29th: http://www.cpfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LeagueTable/0,,10323~20071029,00.html We were on 8 points and they were on 11 points. CP then went on a run of  D D D W W D W D W W W W putting them on 37 points and in 7th!!!! Our run got delayed until November 24th ( 26 days later) we then produced W W L W W D W D D putting us on 27 points and in 20th place!?! We have won two games less then CP in that time and lost a match but we kicked off our run three games later.   I truely believe that we should have taken at least a win from the last two games and if we can beat CP and continue our run there is no reason why we can''t be in there position in a months time!!! I know it sounds hopefully but come on city lets keep the points ticking over and see where we are come February!
  2. I don''t understand this?? How can a club get the best price for a player... I thought they all had release clauses... Surely we have triggered that...
  3. i actually got excited initially by this headline!! think of all the money they have to waste... they don''t know what a good footballer is we could get £5m for Hucks and probably £2m for murry!?!? dion would raise several mill as a quarter back     with cheese. sod it flog the lot to america and give glen all the proceeds But really alcohol is great long live roeder... merry xmas
  4. lapin i totally agree! this is the tightest season i''ve ever seen!!! i really don''t think there will be a lot in it come april. christ ipshite haven''t won away and look where they are... seriously if we can keep on track as we are now who knows where we will be come season end. i''ve just seen santa so i''ll ask him what he can do......   merry christmas all!!
  5. It''s all irrelavant now as he''s injuried according to the media
  6. Fresh of the bbc press: "Charlton trio Chris Iwelumo, Sam Sodje and Lloyd Sam are all doubtful for the trip to Carrow Road. Luke Varney will hope to be fit after a virus but a whole host of players including Danny Mills, Jonathan Fortune and Andy Reid are out injured" 3 doubtfuls and 3 injured?! Surely Danny Mills is a good player to have out for us!! Although I would have like to have seen him vs DIon & Hucks Wiz did you have anything to do with this...
  7. Wolves haven''t got the best away record, just two wins And I don''t know what you did Wiz but according to the BBC: Charlton trio Chris Iwelumo, Sam Sodje and Lloyd Sam are all doubtful for the trip to Carrow Road. Luke Varney will hope to be fit after a virus but a whole host of players including Danny Mills, Jonathan Fortune and Andy Reid are out injured. That could be 6 first team players sidelined!!
  8. Come on lets be havin you!!! Does nobody think there is any chance of us getting into the playoffs? Watch this space if we pick up 4 points from our next two game carrying on current form we''ll be in the top six come end of the season... The board are going to give Roeder £15 million to spend and all will be good Bloody hell maybe I should calm down on the mulled wine...
  9. There have been several posts over the past three months about our lack of quality in the midfield being the main issue at carrow rd I think Roeder has done the best job he can and his ''short term'' goals have definitely been achieved!! He has got us to a good position (considering where we were), he''s wormed out the rot, and he has brought in several loanees and I have no doubt has a list of players he wants to sign on a permenant. As of Jan 1st he moves into his ''Long term'' goals I think that will me a big change in our Midfield and another striker If he is able to get his wish list I think this ''Long time problem'' will have ended.
  10. They''ve done the same as us but plus two more points! But it just shows how far we have come in ten games!! Long may it carry on
  11. I stuck a £10 on us to get promoted when Will Hill was offering 500 / 1 (we were 5 points adrift) So 6th would do me then win playoffs!!! We are 11 points away. Really I''d be happy with 14th - 12th. Anything above 21st will do!! Lets see what GR is allowed to get in during January You never know...
  12. I''m trying to find a copy of the league tables when we were 5 points adrift. Can anyone post on here so we can see how GR has turned it around. I''m sure we were on 8 points? not a bad turn around.

  15. Am I missing something here?? Canaryworld is about £10 a year to listen to all the matches...
  16. Exactly! Surely if he wants to come here all he has to do is refuse everybody else until Brady gives in and excepts are offer? Thought Shacks and Gary D did well today, but still felt alot more confident with Tiny in there.
  17. Did you hear about the magic tractor? It drove down the road and turned into a field
  18. The biggest difference is that Grant was shit And Roeder isn''t
  19. How about Dion verses anyone... I bet that man can pack a punch!!!
  20. brilliant they''ll knock each other out and both be injured for the rest of the season!!! At least we''ve got plenty of cover in that area... oh wait a minute we don''t Why don''t they let Murry and Brellier have a fight, would miss them two if they flattened each other?
  21. Croft and Otsemebor (or however you spell his name) link up really well. I think croft should be given a game. He''s much fitter and quicker this season. But is a shame about chadwick always looks good but is so bloody injury prone!!!!!!
  22. Yeah I know I''m just thinking best case senario
  23. What do we reckon there is available to Glen this January? Can we issue some more shares? what will that be worth? (£1-2m?) How much would we get for Murry, Breiller, Gallagher, etc.(£1-2m?) Will Turners put any in? (another £2m loan?) Could we get a £5m war chest together (or rather survival chest)
  24. I kind of agree with you BBB... This would definitely have been a factor that contributed to the poor performance. I don''t think it was the only factor. Good fight back, thought we had a better second half (better in a loose sense of the term) and fair draw. Everybody was average but at least it''s another game for Roeder to take points from and improve the team We''re out of relegation, would have been alot worse had we lost, mentally for the players! Bring on the next game. Huckerby will be starting me thinks...
  25. This is why England will not win any silverwear in the forseeable future. Neither team has and England man on the bench??? Surely a ruling has to come in soon to stop this? Arsenal are playing in the English league and they haven''t fielded a homegrown player today I think this is F ing disguisting
