  1. Thank you for putting a good perspective on things. I totally agree with you, even though half the team is on loan, we look far better on paper this year then we did this time last year. Top 6 for xmas!!!! :o)
  2. If Kennedy signs on a perm then we have space for another loan... Just thought I''d throw that one in as well
  3. ''He was transferred to West Ham on January 22, 2006 for a fee of £7 million,[13] rising to £7.25 million with two £125,000 bonuses dependent on a future England call-up and possible European qualification while Ashton is at West Ham.[14] Norwich also negotiated a 15% sell-on clause.'' Sounds about right so we would be due about £720k Have we recieved any bonuses yet?
  4. Pretty sure your right it is just the profit we get
  5. Oh my good pattison is having a blinder! Last 10 mins have been incredible
  6. Roeder knows what he''s doing, to be fair how many games have our two new strikers had?? I think in the next few games we could see some real fireworks when they get there scoring boots on.
  7. I Wish. £85k a week hence why Hammers have knocked him off there wage bill. Maybe with the pay off he got for cutting his contract short he doesn''t need much money for a year in the championship *I really need to stop drinking*
  8. Sorry am I missing something? this guy is being labelled a future premiership star and there''s nothing on here about him? Harry R has come out saying how fantastic this kid is going to be. I can''t wait to see him play, especially if he can play att winger as well! We should have a attacking team come Coventry! especially if we get this un-named target man...
  9. Patrick McCourt (born 16 December 1983, Derry, Northern Ireland), is a Northern Irish footballer who plays as a winger with Scottish Premier League champions Celtic. Before joining the Scottish Champions from Derry City, McCourt, had a reputation as one of the most talented players in the League of Ireland. He is the brother of former Derry City striker Harry McCourt.
  10. With the various trialist we supposedly have (2 defenders and 2 strikers?!) Gow and the other two we have signed (clingon / hoolahoop) maybe they will do a big unveiling tomorrow after they have all had the week training together? Would be a nice way to start the weekend through Andy Cole in there and thats 8 signings...
  11. I just thought that.   Does that free up Evans??
  12. Roeder should definitely be looking for a dion replacement, and cole fits the bill. So much experience and he would be a great professional for our young squad members. Don''t know if he would have the influence that Dion seemed to have on moral, motivation, etc. Hard to replace that sort of character.
  13. But do they? You can try 1000% but if you don''t have the skill you''ll never be great. I think Chris martin does I just think he''s and ignorant tw4t. I hope Roeder has knocked that out of him.
  14. Live in Leeds, all of my family are from Lowestoft. and I mean all... Going to the air show next month (is it any good??) Managed to catch both sheffield games (unfortunately in away ends... great fun) but apart from the I listen to every match on canary world. Next season have already planned in Sheffield''s away, nottingham, derby, barnsley and birmingham! Sorry more then 5 hour round trip and the family get annoyed...
  15. Andy cole... ha ha ha but really I believe as a few have already said that Roeder will bring one big name experienced player in. Centre back preferably because I personally don''t feel a striker should be captain (view of field etc.) What about the Doc...
  16. Lots of talk from Roeder about these two having the talent just needing to show it. I saw Chris looking good for a few games last season when we lost Earnshaw to injury and Spillane is very versitile works hard but is he a mid or a defender?? What do you reckon? can either of them step up to the first team for the start of the season? Personally I hope so but don''t think Roeder would risk it. Squad yes and bench probably...
  17. Have we already forgotten Clingon?? pretty sure he''s a midfielder as well...
  18. I would expect his yearly bonus alone would dwarf the amount that the turners ''loaned'' us.
  19. QPR have been reported to FA for an illegal approach on Kaspars Gorkss. This player has come up a few times on this board, is it true him and hoolahan both have low release clauses (£250k each) in their contracts? Could be a good double swoop Defender and Left Midfielder for total £500k Maybe QPR have knocked themselves out of the running now? lets hope so. http://norwichcity.wordpress.com/2008/06/17/who%e2%80%99s-a-naughty-club-then-blackpool-report-qpr-to-the-fa-for-alleged-illegal-approach-for-gorkss/
  20. I believe! Gordon I believe! but seriously I think if FIFA had sorted out the livingston transfer saga sooner we would have had two signings today.
  21. How about (to the tune Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs) Sammy Sammy Sammy Sammy (ah ah ah ah ah ah) Do ya do ya do ya do ya (AH AH AH AH AH AH) Want to take another free kick (ah ah ah ah ah ah) Sorry bit lame
  22. Totally agree, as soon as FIFA have sorted the hoolahoop thing I reckon he will sign and Bell can''t be far behind. One encouraging thing is that we got a player that both Ipswich and QPR were in for...
  23. Well considering the transfer market is not even open yet and this guy is an Ireland international who got man of the match against Denmark last November (plus an assist in there win over Spain)... I''m pretty excited! Bosmans or not this guy can play football, he sounds like he''s up for it and he''s still young. I''d be happy with 11 bosmans if they were all international players.
  24. Gordon step up and take a bow! I think a lot of people owe you an apology mate. Now lets hope those other 4 - 5 signings follow...
