  1. 3-1 Southampton now, and the relegation race is wide open.
  2. I'm kicking myself, Everton were 10/1 to get that equaliser and they were all over Spurs like a rash.
  3. I still reckon he'll get off, on some kind of stupid technicality.
  4. So Fulham down to nine? Willan red card seems harsh
  5. Latest table. Forest have certainly improved, 13 points from their last 10
  6. With Bournemouth beating Liverpool it's certainly making the relegation scrap fun for a neutral.
  7. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64536218 EFL chairman Rick Parry wants a 25% share of pooled broadcast revenue with the Premier League, merit-based payments across all four divisions, and the abolition of 'parachute payments' to teams relegated from the top flight.
  8. On the plus side, she's still gaffe prone
  9. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64616084 Doubt he can go back to Luton again 😛
  10. I would imagine it would be very similar to the interview TNC did with Bassong. Which is mainly Bassong talking unchallenged and the Reeves nodding. Not that I really blame them, because Bassong wouldn't have agreed to the interview otherwise, but still. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=899288071467903
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64571489
  12. Personally I don't really care. If they've put the time and the effort into getting the guests, then fair play to them. But as others have said there's only so many hours in the day and I've never found their interviews particularly interesting or insightful.
  13. When asked to explain Cantwell's omission from Norwich’s matchday squad earlier in the season, Farke said: “Sadly I have to say with Todd the last couple of months, I can’t remember one full training week when he was available for the full week. He has missed too many sessions for personal reasons, or problems with his Achilles and ankle. “He has to make sure he is working so hard to find his fitness level. You cannot afford to be out for two or three weeks, train a day or two and then be available to shine on this level. It is not possible. "You can’t press a button. Maybe two weeks of full training with no setbacks, to bring that quality and consistency and fight your way back.
  14. Cantwell made the XI in Smith’s first game but what followed was 45 minutes to proved just how far off the pace he was by that point. Josh Sargent replaced him at half-time and Norwich won a Premier League game after being behind for the first time in five years. His only other start under Smith came in the 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa, when Norwich now would have preferred to have pushed for postponement given their illness and injury issues. Cantwell’s reaction to being substituted on 61 minutes was to head straight down the tunnel. Smith has since spoken publicly about conversations he has held with Cantwell regarding social media usage and keeping his focus on what is being demanded of him from his coaching staff and team-mates. New first-team coach Liam Bramley spent several minutes speaking to Cantwell on the Vicarage Road pitch after the team were informed of Smith’s 20-man squad for the game, which did not include Cantwell due to how he had trained in recent sessions.
  15. It's from Michael Bailey's end of season report in the Athletic from when we went down the first time in 2020, when he was given detailed reports of the club's finances by club sources, maybe even Webber himself.
  16. From Michael's Bailey's piece in the Athletic on the 2020 relegation (lower basic wages with big bonuses on promotion) That’s relegation confirmed. Who loses out? Every player at the club has a relegation clause in their contract that will reduce their individual salary and bonus structure for the 2020-21 Championship campaign. The upper limit of those reductions is 50 per cent for Norwich’s highest Premier League earners. For the majority the reduction is towards 30 per cent. How hard each player is hit will depend on factors including how likely promotion was at the time their deal was signed. While there has been room to negotiate the size of Premier League uplifts, Norwich have made a point of keeping to tight figures on salaries that activate in the Championship. It is understood only one player next season will earn more than £20,000 per week.
  17. Should have known Spain would get a hatful as soon as I heard Gary Neville say "This Spanish team will struggle for goals"
