Of course it''s obvious - Smith, Jones & Gunn will all be in their usual positions come the start of season.
Yeah it obvious because Smith & Jones are unlikely to receive an offer for their shares, which is why they''ll still be with us next season. But there is going to be a re-structuring of the board so that''ll be interesting to see who is brought in and what they can offer.I don''t mind if Gunn stays as there are no guarentees anyone else can do a better job.
 2.
He was the trout''s poodle and as one of those culpable for our club''s demise there should be no sympathy WHATSOEVER for him. Stuff the nice bloke crap, let''s have people who know what they''re doing!
What people ??Aint that the problem ?
 3.
Zippedy dooh dah, zippedy day... my oh my...  [:D] hahaha loved their ass licking last paragraph in their joint statement... [+o(] The monkeys have gone... Lets keep the pressure up... Now for the organ grinders!!!!
Its a bit arrogant to assume the angry ramblings on the message board had anything to do with ''pressure'' being applied to Munby and Doncaster stepping down.Bleedin obvious they were going to go... no doubt in the last week they''ve come to acknowledge their failings and they know that the club needs change and in particular someone/group with relevant experience needs to take the club on from here. They''ve simply tried and failed. As a result they have no option but to step down.
 4. Gunny will be on Radio Norfolk tomorrow morning to put his reasons forward why he should remain as Manager next season, I don''t think there''s any plans for him to move up...http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/norfolk/hi/tv_and_radio/newsid_8045000/8045695.stm
 5.

I like it how the frontmen have got the boot - taking the blame. It''s all scope and cover. Damn you Delia!
Hopefully they''ll soon follow.
Yeah, I hear there''s millionaires lining up down Carrow Rd to put their bids in...
 6. There is no-one more creative in the squad as Hoolahan, he has good close control and an eye for a pass leading to an attempt on goal. He scored a couple of goals and began to play more consistantly, then he got injured. And Im not surprised its taken him time to get used to playing in front of 25,0000 (Blackpools average this season 7,800), who still talk about him needing to prove himself since the departure of St Hucks. Rightly or wrongly he is here now.We may not know how best to use him as yet but if he stayed he would play a big part for us in a league not known for its quality.

He is a businessman so he knows how to make this simple approach. You have to ask yourself why release a statement to the press without making an offer to the club ?There was a meeting of the board and Cullums representatives, eventually, but he wouldn''t change his offer. £20 mil for transfers and own the club. It was simply unconstitutional, Ive repeated this story over and over and you should know it by now. Fact...
Please tell me you are not serious? Just because you say the same thing over and over again doesn''t make it ''Fact'' either, but i''ll give it a try too..... Smith is gone! Smith is gone! Smith is gone! Smith is gone! Smith is Gone! Smith is gone! Smith is gone! Smith is gone! Did it work?
I felt I had to repeat a similar message as some of you don''t seem to be able to understand simple English. If your going to put forward a cohesive arguement then please explain;1. Where is my spin ?2. On what point are you questioning my seriousness ?
 8. In addition, you cant offer £20 million earmarked for transfer fees and expect to own the club. You have to become the majority shareholder by making an offer to current shareholders. Why are the facts still not accepted by those he see him as the shining knight. He had £1.7 billion at the time; So why make an unconstitutional offer of only £20 million ?Oh yeah, he''s a businessman...
Spin, spin and semantics. Fact is its all very well Delia saying in the press she will "do anything" to help bring in investment. Seems doing anything does not extend to even meeting or having discussions with the richest Norwich fan in the world when he says he would invest £20m in our club! If they had wanted him on board he would be here now - a way would have been found. As it was he was sent packing with a flea in his ear. I know it was a story originally run in the Sun, so it must be true !

 11. What''s with the RIP NCFC, I thought we got relegated not killed off...If you go into admininstration, that could be perceived as closer to death, either way, we ain''t dead yet !
 12. Not a bad shout..Although, I wouldn''t mind selling Ostemobor as Spillane can play at right back ?In addition, Im not sure what long term damage Drury has as Im worried about his lack of apearences this year. I also question whether Stephanovic will have the stomach for League 1, not what you need in the twilight of your career.I''d like to keep Hoolahan but if the media is right Warnock would consider a Hoolahan / Lee swap. Would Lee come to League 1 though ?I think Pattison is out of favour with Gunn hence the lack of appearences since he took over, so I believe he will move on.I''d sell Cureton for the same reason as Stephanovic plus they''re likely to be larger wage earners.I''d give Cort another years contract and see how many matches he play. He could play the big man alongside MacDonald the ''little un'' or Martin.Assuming all the above, I think it''ll be time to give the kids a go as I can''t see many signings coming in or loans ?
 13. All the more reason to have a right footed back-up...
 14.
Nevermind the 4-0 win, what about the four points Cureton helped them to win in his loan spell?
IF things do go our way this Sunday, then Gunn''s 1st game in charge (4-0 over Barnsley) plus recalling Cureton maybe the skin of our teeth required to keep us up !Im not betting it...
 15. Why get Carney on loan ? Apart from his quality being questionable, we already had Pattison, Bertrand, Lappin, Gow and Eagle who could have acted as back up to Hoolahan, but we don''t have a right footed, right sided player back up for Croft. I don''t think we saw the best of Bell, my feeling is he felt worthy of more first team football in his preferred position, than he was getting, hence his move to Coventry.Instead of loaning Carney, clearly we should have been looking for a replacement for Bell on the right side.
 16. I find it very frustrating looking at team selections throughout the season especially on the flanks.Throughout the country there is seemingly a lack of natural left footers available on the wing. But at Norwich we''ve had 7 lefties available in; Hoolahan, Bertrand, Gow, Carney, Lappin, Pattison and the ex- Eagle. Why have we over subscribed this position as opposed to the right hand side, as when Croft is injured he has been replaced by one of the afore mentioned lefties ?I s''pose Bell was bought for competition (maybe to eventually replace him when his contract runs out) but even Bell was consistantly played on the left !!The flanks are positions where you''d hope to get some creativity or crosses to give the forwards opportunities to score. As a result, I fear the worst if Croft is not available on Sunday, to bring the balance we need. Im even concerned if he does play as he''s not fully over his injury, bar a pain killing injection maybe. Its criminal that there is''nt another, right footed, wide right player that the coaching staff are confident in using if Croft is not fit.
 17. Its a repetitive theme on the message boards but the chanting of the ''Sack the board'' is in reality an impossibility. The board can''t sack themselves as the club needs a buyer for the hierachy to change. So out of interest, what suggestions out there might be more appropiate as a protest song, which reflects something that could be changed and in tune with what supporters want...For example: ''Delia, give us a team, Delia Delia give us a team ?
 18.
Do you think we will do it? My heart says yes my head no.
One win will be enough as long as Barsley lose to Plymouth.Monday is the all important fixture. If we beat Reading, who already have their play off place secured, it could be enough to stay up.Plymouth could then not afford to lose to Barnsley because if we beat Charlton, Plymouth would be down.So long as we beat Reading, we must match Barnsley in the last game of season to stay up.
 19. Monday is the all important fixture. If we beat Reading, who already have their play off place secured, it could be enough to stay up.Plymouth could then not afford to lose to Barnsley because if we beat Charlton, Plymouth would be down.Hopefully, we put pressure on the Ply-Bar fixture by beating Reading, if Plymouth then beat Barnsley we can afford to lose to Charlton. So long as we beat Reading, we must match Barnsley in the last game of season to stay up.
 20.
Just wondered if anyone else had picked up on this. When the first few pre season friendlies were announced Gunn said he was looking forward to taking the squad to those games. Now have I got this wrong or between the end of this season and the start of the pre seasons friendlies we should be looking to appoint a new manager or a decision made then about giving gunn an extension. How can he say he is looking forward to something that he may not actually do? Seems to me that decision has already been made from what he said or am I reading too much into this (with this board it wouldn''t suprise me)!!
I hope Gunn does stay on, whatever the Division we find ourselves in. More importantly, the reason he got the job was because of the coaching staff he brought in. With the way Roeder fell out with Norfolk, I believe Gunny got the job as he pointed out at the interveiw that our best era''s have come from when we appointed Managers from within. As a result, I believe Butterworth will be the next Manager of Norwich.

Secondly, just how many decades has ''Y''army been a term?
I don''t know any fans I''d descibe as pleased. I''m just not critical of Delia to the point of hysteria. I have my critisisms but I feel there are many factors as to why we are facing relegation. How long has Y''army been a term ? Are you questioning my English or wondering how long its been used. Im sure your aware how long its been sung so questioning my English is small potater''s really.

I don''t understand the constant critisism on the message boards when the support of Delia has been clear on many posts.
It may be a ''small minority'' as you put it but you cannot draw the inference you seem to be doing that this minority view is WRONG! There are countless example in all walks of life where a person or persons begin to take a view that is contrary to the ''majority'' but with time, that small group grows and is proved right. Go right back to about 1936, how many people believed Winston Churchill? Very few. Fast forward three years and we all know how the mood had changed! Take Vince Cable''s warning about the unsustainable credit boom two or three years ago, again we know what happened. Take The Worthy Out campaign. In the early days it was dismissed as a ''small group of extremists'' with a ''knee jerk reaction'' and ''totally unrepresentative''. Face facts mate - The Cook had to be dragged kicking and screaming to sign Worthy''s notice of dismissal!  That absurd delay from end of 2005-2006 season to his sacking in October 2006 was fatal for our club and we have never recovered.
I have to agree that there are times when the minoroty point of view have been proved right someway down the line. But there are also examples where they haven''t. Merely stating that fact neither proves or dis-proves our points of view on this matter. The ''Worthy Out'' campaign may well be the catalyst to our current dilemma but there are many factors which have to be considered especially the financial constraints all clubs have to bear. Since the withdrawel of ITV money and a complete lack of financial support from Premiership clubs that ''look after their own'' and continue to neglect any debate as to how the game is suffering below them.I could argue that it was because of Robert Chase''s lack of foresight to invest in the squad , keep Sutton and Walker from leaving Carrow Road etc, followed by our relegation and exile from the top flight which meant losing out on £12+ million per season !That plus Worthingtons era plus Grants appointment followed by Roeders  and the ridiculous amounts of players coming and going. But these troubles are not exclusive to Norwich, most clubs are struggling financially and any clubs new manager has a shelf life of 3 seasons to get promotion or at least to see some progress in the team. There a problem within football and the unrealistic attitude/expectations of supporters that often brings instability to clubs with all staff subject to great changes within a small amount of time.My personal belief is football needs to get its house in order and more money from the Premiership to drip down to all divisions. I don''t understand that with the millions involved within the game, players wages etc, that clubs can''t make a profit. In any other previous decade I believe our current support, and the finances that can be drawn from it, would result in the club making a profit each season. However, in the current financial climate you also need a millionaire to put money into the club, while being prepared not to get any of it back, just to compete with other clubs millionaires !!
 25. Sorry Lambo, I read the thread wrongly, I wasn''t meant to rant in your direction..
