1.
Terrible PR, lazy and unfair on fans............sort it out City.
Over reaction Wiz, its trivial, not terrible PR, cos us fans understand Sammy''s transfer was confirmed at the end of last week, so we now why Sammy is still on the site advertising the strip.I don''t really care if the pic stays on all season, really what the matter with you lot that you need to pick holes in the club in any matter you can make up, shite support that is !
 2.
Midfield of Tudor Jones and Hughes more liely if Hughes is fit.  Otherwise Gill and Hughes I feel, unless they think Adeymni is worth throwing in early.Left back - on current form I would say Lappin ahead of hoolahan, especially as he offers a sweeter left foot for early balls into the box.Whaley also looks well off the pace, and on current performances I would say McVeigh.
Doc has been made Capt with Nelson and Gill as vice Capt''s.You can possibly assume then that the prefered starting centre backs will be Doc & Nelson. Using that logic Gill will also start and apart from 1 forward position I feel the other places are favoured by those of experience.Hence I feel the likely starting 11 to be;GK: Theoklitos.RB: Ostemobor CB''s: Doc & Nelson LB: Drury.RM: Whalley CM''s: Gill & Hughes LM: Hoolahan.FWD: Holt & ? Any other thoughts ?

Left back - on current form I would say Lappin ahead of hoolahan, especially as he offers a sweeter left foot for early balls into the box. Whaley also looks well off the pace, and on current performances I would say McVeigh. Left back, you mean left midfield !  And on current form I''d have to disagree that Lappin would be ahead of Hoolahan, apart from the fact Hoolahan is our most gifted and creative player, match reports have stated he was running the show while he was on the pitch. However, they could both play if Hoolahan was chosen to play the role supporting the forward. As you pointed out Whalley is ''off the pace'' or needs more fitness work but having seen McVeigh looking very portley himmself (although he has played ok/well), I think that within the next 2 weeks and 3 friendlies Whalley should catch up McVeigh in fitness.
 3.
It certainly indicates Doherty will start but perhaps he felt Gill or Nelson were leaders but aren''t likely to start every game so are only vice-captains
I think you make a reasonable enough judgement but I have a strong feeling as Gunn has previously stated he''d like ''leaders all over the pitch'' that Nelson & Gill would be very likely to start. The only reservation I have about my selection, is that the pairing of Hughes and Gill would be a little on the short side and most sides have a ''big un'' in one of the central midfield positions.

 5. NewsNow, is also a fav of mine.. I look there before any other site, in fact I start there as its a portal to all sites.
 6.
However, the Clarets'' initial valuation was below the Canaries'' asking price for the 28-year-old. What are Burnley playing at? Have they got no money? Have their Directors been lying to their fans? They will just end up with the left-overs come the start of the season.
I believe they got where they are with a ''prudence & ambition'' philosophy to purchasing players !Just cos Burnley have gained extra for being in the Premiership it doesn''t mean they''ll pay over the odds for a player they may not rate for the transfer fee thats being asked.
 7.
Wake up people of course we cannot compete with the likes of Brighton , somebody remind me what we have spent this summer ? oh yes nothing a big fat zilch , and we are trialling strikers like they are going out of fashion , a clear sign that we haveno money to buy a decent one .
A clear sign we don''t want to spend money on a player we don''t value you mean !The influx of freebies is to make up for the loanees that disappeared at the end of last season, money will be spent on players who are likely to be in the starting 11 not those brought in as cover.
 8.
We need a statement from the club telling us what the hell is going on at our beloved football club. If the reports of Brighton outbidding us for Dickinson and winning with a bid of 100k then something is wrong. Please tell us why all of our signings have been free transfers, why we are not bidding sufficiently for our targets and why there are so many trialsts at the club which will end up costing zilch to buy. Is our club is in more crises financially than it''s letting on? WE WANT ANSWERS AND QUICKLY. COME ON MAKE A STATEMENT
Too many people are quick to judge, there isn''t a club in the country that runs transfer details by its fans first for their appreciation... if you look at last nights team sheet perhaps that''ll tell you why Gunn wasn''t prepared to pay whatever for Dickinson. He''s not needed at the price that was asked, simple. There are other alternatives available and just cos we as fans, don''t know exactly what they are, its Gunns job to sign em not ours. Come the League games a forward will be in place but not before those that are on the clubs radar are assessed. So chill out an wait n see..
 9.
just seen him in Roccos up the city centre.
Posts like this are good reason for avoiding the message board.
 10.
cannot compete with Brighton in the transfer market. just about sums it up, the ghost of Neil Doncaster still walks the corridors at Carra Rd, preaching prudence
Of course we can compete with Brighton in the transfer market, he probably didnt impress enough to be considered worth purchasing over what Brighton were prepared to pay.
 11.

if ever a side had mid table medicocrity stamped all over it then it''s our team for tonight
Blimey, you are being generous today.
I predict tonights team will bear little reseblance to the side that start come the competitive matches...
 12.
The housewives favourite is a very wealthy lady who is getting on in years and has no offspring to leave her riches.Delia’s books have sold 19m copies and according to Waterstone’s, preorders of her latest ''How to Cheat at Cooking'' were the largest in any category since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, ffs! It was already No 2 on the Amazon bestseller list before it had been published and predictably hit the top spot on its first day!Come on Delia! Let''s be ''avin the dosh!!
Yawn yawn, not another opportunity for the Delia basher''s to get their fingers tapping... when''s this message ''bored'' gonna be informative, intelligent and at least a little interesting ?Anyway I do believe she gave 2 mil to the club when the TV series ended and while the books were on sale... I don''t mind the justifiable critisism of her but those that want her to leave the club and still moan to put more money into it is ridiculous.
 13. Initially I thought it was just a point Foulger wanted to make about him backing the club while times were bad. But it did make me think that if he could afford the 1 million, had no rebates been taken, then why offer to give it to the club dependant upon whether the supporters are backing them/him ?By offering the club money in this way, he brought in the supporters and asked us a question about our willingness to support the club financially, with another act of generosity, which he would match. But it was the wrong time to ask for a financial demonstration of our support. The fans are hurting, clearly the supporters have been showing their backing by going to games and purchasing the season tickets over 2,3,4.. very disappointing seasons, our support is not in question. But to ask for another financial gesture at the end of a season like 09 with the current financial climate was just unnecesary. The club made £700k  for transfer funds made from the rebates offer, £300k down had Foulger just put in £1 million.Plus lets assume the 350k from the supporters who decided not to take a rebate added to Foulgers 1 million and we may have had a xfer kitty of £1,350,000 ! Plus whatever we get for Clinghan, Hoolahan and whoever else ??I don''t know what PR wise the rebate offer was trying to achieve or ask; but all it does is cause discussion and give air time to critisism.
 14.
no-one younger than 30 will know the tune to OCS ..........they stopped singing hymns at school a long time ago. also - havent really gone to war for a long time at CR.......although we do a nice line in pathetic surrender.
Why is negativity the first thought in replying on this damn message board !Well if you got the interenet you can find anything;http://www.hymnsite.com/Click on Hymn index then scroll down to onward Christian Soldiers, young man...
 15. How about updating an old fav of mine... sung to the tune of the hymn ''Onward Christian Soldiers''Onward Norwich City marching as to war,With the green & yellow going on before,Woodsy (Chris) is our saviour, Fashunu is our King,Onward Norwich City now sing you b''stards sing...(repeat)At least its a genuine reply !
 16. Huckerby leaving caused a lot of consternation but Clinghan leaving causing mass hysteria... I''m not so sure.As much as I admired his qualities, he may only be a back-up in a Premiership squad. As a result, I don''t believe the deal is done as I feel the transfer would take its normal process via the media. There''s already a lot of speculation regarding interested clubs and player swap deals, so sooner or later we will hear an outcome, but I do expect him leave.
 17.
I have just been told that administration is to be announced very soon, and of course, a 10 point deduction with it. My source also told me in January that Gunn had the job, and you know I called that right too. We''re going down.
£50 say''s your wrong, are you willing to put your money where your mouth is ?
 18.

I think Rusty will go soon.[:''(]
couldn''t care less about Russell, 1 of the reasons we''ve struggled for the past 2 seasons, other than putting himself about and a few tackles what does he offer the side? his 2nd touch is almost always a tackle
Cos he lost control of the ball with his 1st touch..
 19.
After today''s shocking appointment of Gunn I would like my season ticket rebate back asap, and I don''t expect to have to write a letter claiming it back! The rebate should be sent automatically back to those entitled to it. I am keen that Delia and co don''t fritter even more fan''s money away, including my own.
I think you''ll have a good chance if you call the club and ask them... posting on here is pointless.
 20.

angry and mentally challenged sums up 90% of the morons who post here lolz!
You don''t see the irony of your post then?
I see the irony in your pic SPat..
 21.
I don''t think that''s entirely fair is it - the majority of posters are pretty reasonable.Do you genuinely believe that the appointment of Bryan Gunn is a good one? Given that our board''s track record is certainly not one of unearthing hidden gems...
Obviously I disagree that the majority of post are ''reasonable''.Im not sure if the appointment of Gunn will be a good one, only time will tell. My experience tells me there are no gaurantees in appointing a Manager = success. Most of the alternatives suggested on here have had their pluses and minuses. Roeder was our saviour for the first season a monkey the next, such is the fickleness of football supporters.
 22. Please feel free to express your blinkered point of view of Board members, Management team, players and your fellow supporters. In particular we like to ignore the facts and instead focus/spin any news from Carrow Road with negative juvenile comments. What really gives us the horn is abusing fellow supporters who do not share our ideals. We also welcome repetitive threads;1. Delia out..2. Gunn out..3. Anyone else we can find to blame, out..Have fun, go on, go express yourself !
