  1. Have you tried all the streams listed? I had to experiment with a few, click through popups etc before I found one that worked.
  2. That’s the spirit! I honestly don’t know how you manage to face the day.
  3. We’re going to be contacting several breweries directly so I’ll add them to the list. A crate (or several) isn't a bad idea either. 👍
  4. Ridiculous how? People who logged in earlier than you got tickets, there was a queue but you joined too late. That’s how queues work.
  5. We will play poorly but scrape a 1-0 win with an 89th minute winner trickling in after rebounding off Hanley’s a*se.
  6. Thanks. Looks like I’ll have to make an effort myself then if I want to drink it at the wedding! 😟
  7. Where did you go to get it on tap? Did you just contact Oakham? My son is getting married in September and it’s being done in a beer festival style (😍).
  8. Go easy! It’s only 6:30, pace yourself. 🤮
  9. I went on for a laugh and saw this: There’s some bickering about how accurate the stats are, but the best response is the last one in the thread: “Pretty obvious that basing on this decade is topical rather than massaging the figures, but yes it does skew things somewhat If only football had some kind of league table system to show how we were performing compared to our peers”. At least one of them can acknowledge reality.
  10. Just opened a bottle of Oakham Ales Citra. Delicious.
  11. So Todd posted this earlier on Twitter: There are loads of comments underneath saying “come to Arsenal”. Is this a thing? I’ve not heard anything about it before.
  12. Thanks for bumping my thread though. 👍
  13. Strange, I’ve only now got the Sold Out screen. I was late logging in at about 9:30, so not too upset, but I don’t understand why I didn’t immediately get the message once they had all gone?
  14. I believe he suggested to one of the kids that Santa was actually their dad dressed up. No place in our club for that kind of thing.
  15. Going back to Citeh for his sake and ours you would hope. Free up a loan slot, loan the missing piece of the jigsaw in midfield and Bob's your uncle.
  16. Can we do it? Hell yeah! Will we? I’d love to think so, it’s not impossible, but I wouldn’t bet on it. But it raises a question - if we buy one player in one position in January, where would it be? Despite all the fuss about central defenders, now we have Hanley and Zimbo with Godfrey on his way back, I think I’d be looking for a defensive midfielder, the role that I hoped Amadou would fit into. It’s a tall order, but we found Teemu, Emi and the rest, perhaps we can pick up that missing piece of the jigsaw. Fingers crossed.
  17. I’m surprised that no-one so far has suggested one major reason why Sky and the other broadcasters (who are where the wealth of the PL comes from) would be in favour of VAR is because once it becomes established, there is a handy break in play for a couple of minutes where they can slip in a few lucrative adverts. Surely this is a major influence? They’ve always had an issue with the length of a half game and their inability to make money during that time, look at how much of the 15 minute half time on Sky is advertising. Whereas on American football, basketball and so on, they can slip in a commercial break and monetise the lull in play.
  18. Did I say no-one should stand up? Do you see the guy to his right? He’s in the seat next to him. But for some reason this guy decides to stand on a step raising himself higher than everyone else in his row. Hence why I posted the picture, empathising with the OP, to an extent. Did I ask the guy in front of me to sit down? No. Was I (and everyone around me) standing up? Yes. Do I stand up at every game I go to? If I can, yes. Do I behave considerately to those around me? I hope so.
  19. We were both at the end of a row by stairs, so he was on a step. It was easy enough to stand to one side, until it got colder and he then started constantly shifting from one foot to the other. 😡
  20. This was my view for most of the Leicester match: Anybody on here recognise the back of their head?
  21. Hmm... I think you may be looking at Madders through yellow and green glasses there re the “looking for free kicks” comment. I don’t watch the other PL teams, so maybe he’s changed since he played for us, but back then he could be pretty cute about going down if it was a good or the only option.
