No doubt about it has to be martin taylor. We need someone at the back who is a proven player and not some foreigner who cant speak a word of english. Although iliev (or whatever it is) may be a good player we need someone who can communicate at the back and hold us together and i think that martin taylor has that in him.

    Wiggle.

I agree, but going on past history we''ll probably go for the cheap option which will cost us dear in the long run.

Martin Taylor gives the other players the confidence to do their jobs instead having to get back to cover somebodys error.

I suppose we''ve missed out on him now, but if we did get him i''d make him the captain too.
I cant answer your second question mate but about your first, I wouldnt be so sure about us thrashing you, I say 1 nil Norwich Doherty bicycle kick on 92 mins [:)] Dont let me down Doc
What a fantastic prediction!
Mystic C.T lol.

By the way C.T has anybody ever said, you dont arf look like Darren Huckerby. It''s uncanny.

  3. On Sky they say McEverly has got knee ligament injury which could put him out for the season. Maybe good for Camara, bad for us.

Also, the Newcastle serial thug, looks like he''s locked up for the forseeable future. Which might mean Newcastle would want Pattison back as cover.

  4. Another 1st class New Year show from Jools Holland.

Acts included Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Mika, Seasick Steve, Madness, Kaiser Chiefs, Ruby Turner, Eddie Floyd, Lulu and others. Loads of fanmous people in the audience. Including Beverley Knight, who i''d prefer to the Kaiser Chiefs personally but thats probably just because i''m a music lover as well as a football fan.

This show never fails to deliver, if only City could deliver as consistantly.

OK. I will do as you say Wiz. BTW You mean Oakwell dont you? You have done Selhurst Park. We dont want some sort of fission event when the two energy clouds meet.
Oakwell of course!....................what am I like?................my mistake.............sorry.

I''m glad you pointed that out to me Kathy, left uncorrected, it might have caused a tempral displacement, and that can be bloody nasty!

Or then again, it might just have rained a lot!.[:D]
Can you two just swap numbers or message each other rather than carry on with this stupid post? Happy new year!
Hey up.

    Smudgers back.

  6.
I also find this boring, pointless and a waste of time! Id rather talk about exciting potential new signings and Roeders excelent work!
So why have you not only read it but posted on it you muppet.

By the way Wiz, i see the Hex on Wolves is working. Kightly & Gary Breen unavailable apparently.

WE won the championsip (or old div 1) [:)]. All im saying is I''m not ruling anything out and neither should you.......

    Wake up C.T [H]

    C''mon the Arsenal[:-*]
I like the way you''re thinking C.T

But for this year success will be mid-table or at least avoiding the drop.

And then push on next season. All depends on how much the board supports Glen Roeder.

If they think the recent results mean we dont need to strengthen the squad and "We''ll go with what we''ve got" then we''ll be in trouble again.

Glen Roeder is  a very good manager but he needs the right players to get us back where we belong.

    C''mon the City !!

  8. I''ve always smiled at that ad, it''s the spitting image of Pardew. Or is just me that thinks this ?

Just had a look on the Charlton official site, and they say Danny Mills definitely misses the Norwich game. Good. He''s a nasty piece of work, trying to get opposition players sent off all the time. He got 2 of ours sent off and others booked at the Valley.

Apparently Charlton are struggling with player availability, especially defence so they wont be pleased that Mills is missing too.

Although Scunthorpe had the same problem for yesterdays game and we made hard work of beating them.
