1. Roeder please. And all the idiot fans who have no clue, to clear off!
 2.

Nothing to do with sentiment. Whether you agree or not about extending his contract it just shows what a gutless and cowardly manager we have in Glen Roeder. He clearly knew Huckerby was leaving but didn''t have the balls to say so before Sunday. So because of this "brave " decision one of the clubs greatest ever players does not receive the thanks and send off he deserves. I''m afraid Mr Roeder has done very little to enhance his reputation and the club should share his disgrace. There is no way back for the club or Roeder unless he has a lot more money to spend than we are led to believe. A new Huckerby, Dublin and Evans.....that will be £7 million please. What do you mean you still need another 10 players? thats another £7 million please.
''Gutless'' , ''Cowardly'' - you child! Do you actually know anything about the modern game of Football? Haha, no way back? Why do you bother supporting the club if you have such a negative view. You really are a silly little child!
why dont you crawl back under your rock you obnoxious little cretin.
This is the club''s problem...''fans'' such as yourself. You don''t like something so you stamp your feet and cry about it. Roeder does something you think is wrong...SACK HIM. You are a joke. Just give it a rest. Everyone has an opinion. I trust Roeders opinion on football far more than my own or any of you! He''s a very intelligent man, let him do his thing and just support him.
 3.
If you read the thread ''piggie'' you will ascertain that I do not believe merely playing champs football to be a measure of success.  I''m sure you would have been pleased with 17/18 place at the start of the season and yes, I quite possibly could have done better with even some of my small ideas. Maybe if you weren''t so naive you wouldn''t have lost all that money you refer too either.
Did Roeder start the season as manager? No he didnt. Peter Grant got us into a foul mess which looked, as he departed, like we were heading down to League One. Fact. You cannot argue with that. So then ''matey'', you really believe you could have gone in, with us 6 points adrift, and saved the club from certain relegation? No...no you couldn''t. And neither could Peter Grant, thats why he was sacked. If you think you''re even better than him, why are you not a household name? Why are you not at the helm of a big football club? Roeder did go in and save us. We will be playing Championship football next season, and from the position we were in... thats a hell of an achievement. Start of the season...? Who''s talking bout that? Why''d you bring that up? Roeder hasn''t had the time to bring the players in HE thinks will take us further. Why pay over the odds in January when he can wait till summer? Especially now he''s saved us from League One...fool!
 4.
.....cos he saved us from relegation - rubbish!  Who would have deemed avoiding relegation to league 1 by a measly 3 poins to be an achievement when the season began - noone!  It only appears to be a success becasue of the sh*te that preceeded it.  Based on our playing squad (which on paper was better than Hull''s and Bristol City''s), we never should have been in the predicament we were in October, that was down to Grant being useless more than Roeder being our saviour.  Even after virtually securing our safetly, it all very nearly imploded in Roeder''s face with his failure to replace our forwards in Jan, bold statements, little trips abroad, constant tinkering and playing his young loanees in favour of more experienced, better players.  I do not regard very heavy defeats to Leicester (relegated) and Sheff Wed (almost relegated) etc as a measure of success.  Roeder has done nothing to convince me that next season will be any more of a success that this, all he has proved is that he is reliant on his contacts in the prem to achieve any measure of success however, small that may be.  If Leicester could have ''borrowed'' Taylor, Evans and Bertrand, would they have gone down or us?!? As you can tell, following this morning''s little announcement, I am not a happy bunny.  However, this is not a pro-Hux thread but to be treated as posing the question to those who say they have every faith in Roeder becasue of what he has achieved. I ask those people, what exactly has he really achieved???
We will be playing Championship football next year! Thats what he has achieved. I''d like to see you do better with all your big ideas, haha, you don''t have a clue do you? Haha

 6.
What Roeder has done to Huckerby is nothing short of a disgace . Darren has been an absolute legend during his time with Norwich , if Roeder knew he was letting Hucks go he should have given us all the chance to give Darren the send off he deserved at Hillsborough . This has sickened me to the core , we are becoming a real shit club , no ambition , going nowhere , letting Hucks go is a disaster . Delia has knackered our club surrounding herself with yes-men who haven''t got the guts to speak up , we have become a real crap team , we have no ambition , no desire and we don''t deserve any fans . Good luck Darren , in my opinion you are the greatest player ever to sign for Norwich City and we will be poorer without your sublime skills , match winning ability , goals and buzz when ever you got the ball . You will have no shortage of offers Darren - Norwich should retire the 6 shirt no-one can wear it after you !
So Roeder is a ''Yes man'' is he? He''s had the balls to do what he feels right. Huckerby hasn''t been offered a contract because Roeder doesn''t want to give him one. Simple. Who are we to argue with a man with the extensive knowledge of the game that Roeder has? When somebody can step up here and give reasons why they know better that a proffessional Football Manager then my opinion will change. Of course there''s sentiment involved, Huckerby has been awesome for the club. Let it go though, and just see what Roeder has up his sleeve! If he fails to deliver then fine, he has to go, but until that point, grow up people, you are acting like children!
 7.
Brave post Uplmm! I''m as gutted as everyone else, but there was no nice way to do this.............and I have no way of knowing what went on behind closed doors at Colney.  Hucks has been dropping hints for weeks, I hoped he''d stay, but that was totally heart over head.
I completely agree, there was no nice way. If Roeder had come out 4-5-6 weeks ago and told us the news, everyone would have winged and moaned and said he deserved a contract etc etc. This would then, as per usual with some of the ''fans'' of this club, have caused tension between fans and the board/management team, which was not needed at the time. The football club is moving forward. We now have a great Manager who, with the backing of the board, can create his own team, of which HE chooses the players who HE thinks can win us the league! Simple stuff people. Who knows what went on behind closed doors? None of you do! Whats happened has happened, Huckerby won''t be here next season...Roeder will...so get behind him. Simple stuff.
 8. So Roeder saves us from certain relegation to the third tier of English Football, and we have a little bash at him because he didn''t mention Hucks wasn''t to be offered a new contract. Honestly, the man is a genius. From where we were in the table, with morale at an all time low etc etc after Grant, he has come in and turned things around. So what he didn''t mention it? Maybe if he did mention it weeks ago, it would have had an adverse affect on the team, and we know where that got us before...thank you Mr Grant! Understandable that fans alike wanted to give him the send off he truely deserves, much the same as what Dion recieved, but don''t start bashing the manager after what he has achieved in his little time at the helm down here! People are too quick to knock...and that doesn''t help confidence levels in any environment...so get behind them next year, and keep the moaning to a minimum!!!!
 9. A Player who is dismissed from the Field of play for Violent Conduct, Serious Foul Play or spitting at an opponent or any other person, whether he has previously been cautioned in the match or not, will be suspended automatically from playing football in any match including non-First Team matches commencing forthwith and until such time as his Club’s First Team has completed its next three matches in approved Competitions.   http://www.thefa.com/NR/rdonlyres/E5AD8DC1-F5D4-45BD-B820-A205B7D38EB3/118665/SectionAFTCM0708.pdf
 10. Kick It Off - Very good point, made very well!!! I don''t understand why everybody jumps on the boards back as soon as a bad performance is shown. The fans, the players, the management, the backroom staff AND the board all need to stick together and support one another if we are to get out of the problem we are in. We ARE a good club. We SHOULD be in the top half of the table, at least! GR has done a very good job since joining us and I believe he will continue to as he has the backing of the board. They know what they are doing. They don''t just have their jobs just on merit. Remember the doubters when GR was appointed? Blame the board etc etc. Now look what he has achieved. If everybody sticks together, and supports one another, this club will be back where it belongs in no time!
 11. One cold winters evening, I had placed an accumulater bet on a number of teams which all came up trumps.....apart from Norwich, hence the name. Will I ever forgive them? Who knows? I''m still grieving.
 12. What''s wrong with you people? Dont you have anything better to do than take the mick out of me for a stupid mistake. Genuinely messed up.
 13. Does anyone remember this striker? Amazing. Wore his heart on his sleeve. If only we had 11 of him in the side! If only! Whatever happened to him anyway? Did he go back to Scotland? Didnt he score a lot of goals for Scotland as well?
