13 games unbeaten and Delias popping her little head up all over the place.... oh the irony!

    jas :)
Not irony, coincidence. She has a new book out and needs to promote it. Do you actually believe that back in October she was foresighted enough to ask the publishers to delay the release until we were in the position we are now? I despair of some of the FMs on here, I really do....

I can remember going to England games at Wembley when 17000 people watched a friendly against Chile on a wednesday night. How many people recently went to the swiss friendly? All face paint and ''''30 years of hurt'''' supporters. Nothing to do with Delia and all to do with sky sports. At least we were going places with 15000 Norwich fans. Shame we dont invest the extra 10000 fans income where it should be invested, but hey if they''re happy...............

    Jumpers for goalposts eh, Ron?

  3.
why are some people on here obsessed with how many threads there are on one subject ? seems to me you can have a good point but if theres already another thread on the subject you get shouted down by some saddo who must spend his life on here counting similar threads and getting hot under the collar about it calling for moderators to merge the threads cos they find it so distressing ffs....i`d rather read a fresh view on a subject than trawl through say 122 posts on another thread most of which a tittle tattle and private in jokes among regular posters who think the board is excuslively for them....oh and by the way if there is another thread on this subject hidden somewhere on the board i apologise for any distress caused   OTBC
Well I must be that saddo.....Can''t say that I have ever shouted anyone down though. If there are too many threads on the same subject, it gets confusing. There are two main reasons for this;

1, The guys (you know who you are!) who live on here 24x7 and must make a point about every minor matter just to "up" thier post count.

2, Moderation - If someone wants to start a Topic about a piece of breaking news and they see it has not been posted then they will start that topic. Only thing is whilst it is waiting for Moderation several others could think the same and start thier Topics as well. Instead of putting them into one topic or just letting the first one through the Mods will let them all be started, ending up with several Topics on the same subject.

When I moan about threads of the same subject it is usually aimed at the Mods not the FMs.

This should be in Kings Lynn and Local Leagues. Does nobody actually adhere to the rules around here?
i thought bunnies were happy.
It''s the Moderation of these Boards that makes me unhappy. How many times do we see several topics about the same subject (they should be merged) and topics in the wrong forums (they should be moved)? There is not a clear set of rules that I can see and this waiting for Moderation approval seems to cause more problems than it solves as baiting and name calling (provacative attacks of a personal nature that do nothing but rile people) posts still get through.
" The facts which are purely based on the speculation, gossip & hearsay coming out of Doncasters mouth and others at Carrow Road maybe???What facts do we have other than over the last few years profits have been made on player trading.... "

Given that the only knowledge we have of these so called ''profits'' is what is released by the club isn''t it surprising (or not) that Fudger chooses to refer to certain bits of " speculation, gossip & hearsay coming out of Doncasters mouth and others at Carrow Road " as facts.

Please tell us then Mr Fudger why you trust Doncaster and the club when they tell us the cost of transfers and sales ?
I don''t, you seem to however when it suits your side of the debate.

I believe what is reported in the press (by some journalists).  I don''t believe anything that is said by the current occupants at Carrow Road (with the exception of a certain Mr Huckerby).
Ever heard of such a thing as a Press Release or maybe a Press Conference? It''s where the Media are given information, believe it or not from Carrow Road actually. Are you saying that certain journalists misrepresent this information just for you?

  7.
The movers and shakers that run the club seem to have developed a knack for bringing in people to positions where there is not a problem.  The year we got demoted, defense was a sieve and we brought in Ashton to score. He did, but the defense was an embarassment from then until recently. Now we need a striker to finsh off the good work coming from behind, and we borrow everything but a striker.

Are these pinheads the same crew that borrowed us to promotion?  If so, was that just an anomoly? (readers scramble for dictionaries to look up ''anomoly'')
Movers and Shakers? What or who (the pinheads) are you talking about? There''s the Board and there''s the Manager, the Board supplies the Cash for the Manager to go out and buy players, we had a different Manager in our promotion season. I suggest that you go and do some research on our club before asking such retarded questions.

Oh, and BTW, you will not find "anomoly" in the dictionary......it is anomaly.

  8.
Sorry Dicky but today has just highlighted whats wrong with the club.

We have no money and this board are not prepared to take a gamble or put anymore of their own money in.

I am very happy with what Glen has done for us but it''s obvious that he is not going to be backed financially by our board.

To be quite honest I can''t say that I am very surprised.
As always you are totally wrong. GR did have money to buy players - fact.

  9.
Read it all, digest!! The move on. Roeder certainly has… FFS if this doesn''t shut all you moaners up then nothing will!!!!!!! http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/full_article.asp?i=2590&w=25&a=0∂=0
There''s no chance of them shutting up - they prefer thier own brand of "facts" to the real truth.

i reckon it was made up personally,

but lets face facts as much as you guys hate to admit it

who is the more attractive team to join?

team A who is 10th 2pts of playoffs and have money to burn (Apperently)

    or

team B who are 16th and 5pts of relegation zone

Do you ever do any work? I wish you would get the message......

I feel honoured that the wizard one agrees with me!

Compare our dealings with any other club between the prem and league 1. We are lagging behind, Delia has to go and soon!
Not correct to compare us with Premiership teams as we are in the Championship, you may as well compare us with L1 and L2 teams by that reasoning.

Lagging behind who exactly? Charlton? Coventry? Cardiff? Sheffield Utd? Sheff Weds? All teams who have not exactly been busy in the Transfer Window.

  12.
so January has gone out on a whimper... its now time to face the stark reality of the situation.

the board have stated categorically in the past that all transfer funds would be available to the manager to strengthen the team.

In the summer we sold Etuhu, Safri and Earnshaw.... Peter Grant, according to the media, made attempts to sign Iwelumo, Varney and Sharpe... the money was not spent. instead we got Murray, Strihavka and Brellier... 2 of those were free... the fee for Strihavka was a low amount of money...

Peter Grant had the rug pulled out from under him... i dont care what anyone on here says. Remember Hucks voicing his fears at key players being sold and quality not being drafted in? this is somethign that Peter Grant Echoed but which Neil Doncaster took Hucks to task over privately.

Despite the board telling us there was Money available this was not spent... Was it down to Peter Grant being a poor manager? or was his hand forced? that night at QPR Grant played the players he had been forced to sign rather than the ones who, if the boat had been pushed out, we perhaps could of signed.

Grant Left, Roeder came in... the board stated again that funds would be released for players.... we got in loan signings... some hope was raised that we could make them permanent.

early January we signed Matty Pattison for a fee beleieved to be 800,000 in some circles. we then sold Lewis, Brown and released a host of players... we should therefore, according to the mantra of the board, have had a fortune to spend on team strengthening given the players sold in the summer...

Im of the opinion that this is B**ocks! the reason we sold Lewis with such a hefty sell on clause was because we spent money we didnt have to sign Pattison... this is just my opinion. Brown was sold to keep the wolves from the door.. again my opinion. although he was a decent option to sell and we got  a good price.

we signed a host of loan players... 2 of which will be sitting in the stands watching the game every week as League rules state they cant play... are we paying their premiership wages for them to sit watching? id hazard a guess as to yes.

Neil Doncaster has mentioned that the club had a 7 milllion pound shortfall.. coupled together with the fact that we no longer have the parachute payments... we can no longer afford to bring in the players we want to acheive success.

True, if the loan players do wel we might try and sign some of them.. but then the better they do the more they shop window themselves.. their value is going to rocket, and the in the case of Bates and the 2 reading lads they all have realistic chances of breaking into their own clubs first team should they do well here.. Gilbert will command a huge fee purely because he plays for Arsenal... Same with Bertrand and Chelsea. We could however probably get Mohammed Camara for free... Evans wont sign permanently... so lets not get excited about that one.. the more he scores the more he ups his transfer fee....

Im pleased roeder took positive steps with the loan players but the reality is they all have to go back to their clubs in the end.... had we of had any transfer money we could perhaps have signed the Reading players and Bates whilst they were still "unknowns" on the cheap.. 3 players added to the squad at a small outlay... but we havent.

as for a Striker.. Strikers score goals... as Dave Stringer said on the Scrimmage last night Goals cost money... if we were going to get Paterson, Zamora or Ameobi then it would of been down to some shrewd negotiating to try and find a price. We cant offer money that we dont have with no one to sell on to generate an outlay to cover the cost.

as for Taylor, Birmingham wanted 1 million pounds 3 weeks ago....we could of upped our bid then waited to see what happened. but we didnt.. again this is purely because with the lost revenue from the parachute payments and the shortfall its too high a financial outlay...  No one on this message board would buy a £9000 car if they only had £10 in the bank would they? the same principal applies at Carrow road.

Taylor is ona  contract at Birmingham City.. a Contract we could of paid off 3 weeks ago.. the only reason Birmingham rejected Coventrys bid is because it was nearly deadline Day.. Karren Brady isnt stupid, she knew full well that if we wanted Taylor and she waited out long enough that if we had the money we would of upped our bid and got him. She knew that other parties (Eg Coventry) were interested, but i think she also knew that we dont have the funds for Tiny.. Accepting Coventrys offer would of been good business for Birmingham.. but not half as good as playing 2 teams off against each other to see who pulls out of the bidding first meaning someone paid over the odds for Tiny...

Ok so the Brum keep hold of him.. Cover for the rest of the season... come the summer the whole thing will begin again.. and we still wont be any better off financially.

So.. what now? do we seek investment? do we offload half the squad in the hope of rasing funds for the summer?

when your at Carrow Road tommorow take a look around, look at the hotel, the Re furbished office, the Travel Agents, the car dealers, Restuants and other business the board have invested their money in... then groan and Criticise Jamie cureton as he baloons another easy chance over the bar.. no doubt some of you will turn to the person next door and say "he''s Rubbish... why didnt we get a striker!" the truth is staring you right in the face.... Off the field activities and 2 1 million pound scoreboards...

wheres all the money gone? if u find out let me know...

    jas :)

Two words jas - Pure conjecture.

What do you mean grow up and shut up? Its a perfectly good point, the club has smoke screened our profit making with loan signings again. I''m not saying these lads wont turn out to be good players but that''s down to GR not the board. I remember last summer and everyone was saying ''''lets wait till January'''' and spend the money then....well we''re hardly sitting comfortably are we? I have faith in GR but the board should ve spent to fully ensure out CC survival.
Tell us Arthur;

1, What Profit has been smoke-screened? Give us a figure.

2, Who would you have bought to "fully ensure" our Championship survival? Just to make my point here, that''s "guaranteed" survival.....

  14.
why oh why do we continue to waste money on loans? now we have more loanees than can be in a matchday squad!! why? surely this shows a total lack of ambition from this board of ours. we cannot keep relying on loans we need to make permanaent signings and quick.
If we stay up (or better) then they will not have been a waste of money.

  15.
Well thank god that Scunthorpe turned down Reoders bid for Martin Paterson then...

Something tells me that Mr Roeder is becoming a little bit frustrated at being strapped for cash and before long the money we have received on getting rid of one waster (Brown) will be doubled and spent on another porr excuse for a forward.

You watch him bring in a couple of desperation buys on the last day of the transfer window.

I am sure that will be enough for half of you dim wits to start slamming Roeder... it isn''t just coinincidence though that he has ben the 3rd City manager left searching for spare change and excuses when the transfer window is upon us!!!
You know nothing about the inner workings of the Club.  You know nothing about how much money GR has to buy players. You consequently know nothing about how GR feels at this moment in time. You misspelt "Roeder"," poor" and "dimwit" yet insult other FMs by using that very name. The Moderators must be quite lenient here are as you would be banned on others for your consistent insults directed at those who do not share your views.
