1. "question for ye chabal and all the other ipswich fans who view or post on these forums...

why is it you belittle norwich, call us things like nodge and naaarwich but you still continue to talk about us with great interest on your crappy little sites like www.twtd.co.uk and ipwich fans contribute (and i use the term lightly) to norwich fansites. EXPLAIN.

If norwich dont mattter why do you discuss us ? Bunch of idiots  the lot of you......"

to be honest, on ipswich town fan-sites like tractor-boys.com we

also have norwich fans and other fans from all over the country

commenting. football is a universal language and i don''t think you have

to be limited by which debates you can get involved in just because of

    the team. you idiot.

  2.

I think some people on this board are a joke. i am a script-writer and so I hold the art of English closely to my heart  but to be picking up on minor spelling mistakes by one person is absolutely crazy. This person obviously is very aware of his spelling and to carry on pulling him up on his mis-spellings is simply bullying. This is an area for debate and conversation where, as i see it, as long as you understand the point they are putting across then their grammar should not matter. Please think about what you are saying, this board is becoming more like a playground everyday. I am sorry GP, the stick you have recieved is unbelievable

Ha ha ha, oh my lord, what drivel. People are purely just having laugh at GP''s spelling on his post, i for one mean no harm, its just good natured banter as i see it, there''s no playground bullying going on, and if you think there is then perhaps you need to have a word with yourself? perhaps you were bullied at school and are a little sensitive, boo hoo, go tell the teacher.Im sure Ginger Pele isnt crying into his coco pops at people having a laugh at his spelling.

Barclay man if it was up to me people like you would be banned from

this forum. i cnt believe you are so pathetic as to highlight MJDP''s

spelling errors, in a post where he was sticking up for someone. what

your doing is bullying plain and simple and it is pathetic. you are

pathetic. when someone tries to stick up for the man, you shoot him

down. you are a pathetic individual. "Im sure Ginger Pele isnt

crying into his coco pops at people having a laugh at his spelling." -

this is one of the most patronising comments i have read on this forum

in a long time. i think that the admins should get involved in this as

i am offended by the way you are acting. the last thing i would want is

for ginger to be upset about this, but it doesnt just offend him, it

can offend others. i will be complaining to the admins about you, and i

would like to try to encourage everyone else on this forum to stick to

the topic at hand. i am fed up of coming onto this forum, seeing what

could be an interesting post WRECKED by immature posters who are

obviously brave when they have a computer and internet connection

between them and everyone else on this forum. its truly pathetic. admins take note.keep posting GP. i think you have raised some interesting points in your original post. i would like to apologise for the way some idiots have been acting, but i like your posts and would like to see you go over the 1000 post barrier!

I have just been told that Ipswich have made a bid for Taylor. . . . .any confirmation?

If they match the asking price i think our board would be wise to match it or else risk a lot of heat!!!
http://ipswichtown.myfootballwriter.com/full_article.asp?i=2358yeah hes going to the blues im pretty sure. although ipswich are being very quiet over any transfers other than the public bid they made for norris. they are doing quite well of avoiding ''paper talk''
whilst i do agree with all you are saying and i do think dalgliesh (sp?) will not be the right buy for ipswich in the long term, you can hardly make a dig about ipswich still fishing from the same waters as the rest of us - we are all championship teams and the only players any of us are able to get are players who are willing to play for championship teams. i think what ipswich may be looking for is some kind of strength and experience to their squad purely to increase their chances of promotion. the summer is a much bigger transfer window thus more time for better signings. if ipswich do become a premiership team by the end of the season.... doubtfull.... but if they do they will be in a position to fish from different ponds, to attract players they otherwise would not have been able too whilst playing in the championship. Norris is a proven championship player, and would fit in well in the premiership, he has attracted a lot of attention from more clubs that just ipswich. so i hardly think you can criticise their lust for the man. albeit he is over priced. ipswich are looking for experience in their players at the moment, i am not disagreeing with what you are all saying as such, but i can also see logic in a move of this type.
There is no move.

Read the link on Paul''s post.
alright take a chill pill mate! regardless of wether there is a move for this specific player - i still think my argument is a valid one.

  6. you can argue that dublin will lead the team with or without the armband.... but if he is doing it without the armband - what is the person with the armband going to be doing? could it cause conflicts?

i personally think that as dion has shown that he can lead the team, and he can spurr the other players into doing something then he should be REWARDED with the band of captaincy, as a sign of appreciation from the club.

he is a great man, he wont be playing for much longer.

    captain?......... why not.

  7.
Maybe Truthseeker is actually me? And i have dual accounts? It''s happened before. Although i can''t imagine that to be the case as i don''t know anything about it, but i''ll keep my eye out!
hmm now you say that.... you do only speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.... can it truly be you oh truthfull one? haha only joking master..

Who needs books when you''ve got the telly to watch?

An out dated and dull mode of entertainment perpetuated by bores who don''t get out much. Read the last page and save yourselves the bother.....then watch The Simpsons at 6 o''clock....... Much funnier.
good one...... your comment actually explains a lot about you. good contribution.

  9.

So how long does everyone think it will be before he makes it to the senior England squad? And do you think he''ll still be with us.........?
i don''t know but if David Nugent xan make it then Martin can make it! Personally i can''t believe Nugent is in the full  England Squad. It used to be a big thing to be called up for England but now any half decent player seems to get a run out.
steve maclaren says he can! so that means he can! steve is the man!.........................obv

Last time this happened we lost Rossi!!! [;)]

Kathy - Is it to be Duffy or Gunny now we have lost "Deadly Doug"?
I miss Rossi
What actually happened there? I missed something and have never managed to glean the details since...
Here you go - Found ithttp://new.pinkun.com/cs/forums/799009/ShowPost.aspx
that is amazing, even after being ripped to shreds the last time truthseeker fought for truth and justice within the galaxy, to inform us of a load of porky pies and speculation.... he still returns

this superhero is one who needs to be taken seriously.... obv

  11.
Every growing fanbase!Whatever planet do you come from, apart from the die hard i don''t know anyone who supports norwich.I have 2 sons aged 14 and 18 they support chelski and arsenal.I done everything i could to make them support norwich but all i got back was"they are rubbish " or "they never win anything" imho apart from the championship winning year norwich''s fan base has been shrinking. When this lot of season ticket holders has gone there will be very little interest for the spare seats unless things change and that means a more ambitious board!
exactly why are you on here?

i dont care wether your kids support chelski and arsenal. but the truth of the matter is the fan base IS ever growing. and saying this lot of season ticket holders going will mean that there will be no interest. there will always be people wanting to see norwich play.

this reply is the number one worst reply i have seen in relation to a comment. i cant believe you picked up on me saynig ''ever growing fanbase'' and chose to criticise this. did you not get the point of my comment at all? you one track minded strange little person

  12.
I don''t mine being nice ,the problem is we are sometimes to nice, giving worthy to long may have set us back 3 years imho
but it helps the ever growing fanbase amazingly. the charity work norwich city have done for people and how generous they have been to my cousin and other people with disabilities is something very rare in football nowadays. something that ipswich does very little.... believe me, i come from ipswich! i know first hand they do not do things like that lightly, wheras norwich are so happy to help people out and make their fans happy. id say norwichs niceness is one of its biggest assets personally!

  13.
I wouldn''t worry, SOD (what an unfortunate acronym), you''ll learn pretty quickly that Cluck is the most ridiculous poster on this site, and in turn the most ridiculed.  He thinks his years at the school of hard knocks, and his age qualify him to be more intelligent and more wisened that any other poster on here (with the exception of his mistress, Smudger) whereas, in fact, his opinions and ideals are mostly garbage regurgitated from the pages of the Daily Mail.  You''ll also soon discover his "wounded soldier" routine, in which he cries about people slagging him off whilst calling everyone who doesn''t agree with him sheep... Unfortunately some clowns decided they missed him recently and his ego has gone into overdrive.  I''ve tried hard on this thread to use reason and well-structured arguments to show Cluck that his opinions and assumptions are in error, but he responds by spouting the same insults and conspiracy theories over and over... classic Cluck, I''m afraid.

Welcome to the boards, SOD, but try not to take Cluck too seriously... he''s just after attention, like a little child, and though we should all really just ignore him it really is so much fun to flame him and see what nonsense he comes up with next... it''s like a sport! [:D]
i completely agree with you!!
