1.
we seem to be winning more games away under grant than worthy, as well as having the usual no-shows, but on the negative side - FCR is no more, mind you - it was already weakened under worthy.
Yep, I agree with all of that - especially the first dozen words [Y]
 2.

Thread was a tongue in cheek pi$$ take at what will happen if we lose (hence the winking post icon)! For the record i am 150% behind PG.Just check out my prev posts!
Great post CUSDP!        [Y] Shame you ruined it by letting the sheep get the better of you though.  Unlike you however, I am not 150% behind Shrek and hope he clears off at the first offer of a job elsewhere. He''ll take us down next year without doubt if left to make many more "bargain" signings like the donkeys he''s brought in so far....
can u sit down please, I couldn''t give a stuff if you were 300% behind Grant and I''m not gonna bore myself silly by checking out your previous posts [|-)]. If we do go to Leicester and lose, then you will have a lot to answer for for starting such a daft thread - tongue-in-cheek or not! Do you not think that the gruesome twosome spread their bile enough, without you helping them out? Cluck, I am not one of those sheep that you seem to insist on banging on about (do you have some sort of weird fixation of them, or something[;)]) but, while he isn''t perfect (who is?), I''m certainly backing him. How can you say ''He''ll take us down next year'', do you have a crystal ball in your handbag or something? Right, lets have a little look at the signings he made - although you can''t count Chadwick as that was basically agreed with Worthington (good signing though, shame he''s been bloody injured so much). Lappin - quality, especially at deadballs. Fotheringham - ordinary, but a good reader (far, far better than Robinson). Brown - ordinary, holds the ball up well - although he can''t defend well yet (and he''s still better than Peter ''Statue'' Thorne). And if you think Grant looks anything even remotely like Shrek, then you seriously need new glasses Cluck.
 3. That is REALLY bad! But I''d still rather support them than Ips**t [:D].
 4.
We have been beaten yet!!!!!
Don''t you mean "haven''t", cityangel? If Grant is sacked either now or in the summer, then the club will be in an even bigger mess than what it''s in now!
 5.
In reply to bigmarkcanary. Is the embarrassment of the Burnley game for Worthington the same embarrassment as the Colchester game for Grant?
No it isn''t Grumpy. The Burnley game was the absolute last straw (should have gone months before that though) after about two years of bad decisions and, although yes we scored, I don''t think we turned up for much of it. I sit in the front row of the Lower Barclay and to see some of those goals fly in, along with watching possibly the worst home performance of the season, it was very embarrassing and painful. At Col U, I feel it was a bit of a different story. The first half was pretty much even, I think. The second half though, well, serious questions have to be asked over what players stay or go - not whether Grant should be sacked, or anything like that. Not very many teams at all have gone to Layer Road this season and got something, that''s a fact. When Cureton put them in front, I just couldn''t see us getting back into it sadly. I hope that answers your question.
 6. I think its a close call between Fox and Sutton, but I''d go with the latter because of the goals he scored both with us and afterwards with Blackburn and Celtic.
 7. What a stupid thread to start up - why the hell have you just stirred things by giving those two even more encouragement, not that they ever needed it in the first place!
 8.
The idea of outing Worthy was to make things better but there is no difference in my book. Grant has done nout his record is very average results wise, if he has the same sort of results in his 2nd season, people will be screaming for his head. I personally feel with Worthy we would probably been in about the same position, so at the moment Grant is a sideway step imo.
Oh you have just got to be kidding! Yes, a lot of performances and results have been average with Grant (and also a couple of bad ones) - but to actually come on here and say that ''I personally feel with Worthy we would probably have been in about the same position'' is madness!  If Worthless had not been sacked after the Burnley embarrassment, and he was still here now, then we would definitely be in the drop zone or perhaps even bottom. Look at some of the dross that Grant has been unfortunate enough to inherit: Gallacher, Thorne, McVeigh, Robinson (to start with), Doherty, even Drury''s been poor this season at times. I would actually go as far as to thank Grant for steering us away from it, because with the aforementioned players plus Hughes and the inconsistent Etuhu and Safri, he has had one HELL of a job on his hands this year! The summer is absolutely key to the future of this club and if Grant AND the Board can make some big decisions in who goes, who stays and who comes in, then next season is going to be very, very interesting [:P].
 9. What?! I too was looking forward to attending that, particularly as I''ve never done so before
 10.
Peter Grant said this morning that the offer which has been made to Chris Martin is an exceptional one and he was frustrated that the PFA rep Mick McQuire was dragging his heels. Then I think he went on to say had the offer been made 5 or 6 weeks ago it would have been snapped up quickly, although I missed a bit of the interview. So come on Chris, you''ve had a great 6 weeks, Grant says the club are looking after you really well, sign the contract and learn your trade here with a club that wants you and dont start thinking about running before you can walk.
Excellent post ca, I couldn''t have put it better myself [:D]
 11. And to think that McVeigh was, at one at time at least, probably one of the most skilful players at the club, what a waste - I think the landlord of Delaney''s is gonna miss him! He was our top scorer too, in 2002-03. As for Joe Lewis, I''ve never seen him play a full game, but I''ve heard loads of good things about him, so I hope we keep hold of him. We''ll definitely need a good replacement for Gallacher[;)]. And just think, if there''s no Marshall/Warner or both, he could actually be our No1 next season....
 12.

Does anyone else actually look forward to going to games? Is anyone else disappointed there isn''t a game to go to this weekend? I''m not sure about fear and spin but I know I will miss going to a game on Saturday!
I''ll miss us not having a game on Saturday Cluck but have got my ticket for the ColU game, am hoping to go to the Hull game, then we have WBA at home, then I''m off to stay with friends in the Midlands the week after, so will get to the Leic game, then its Ipswich at home. So will be fed up this weekend but then will see out team 5 weekends  in a row after that [:D]
Yes, I''ll miss us not playing too ca[:(]. By the way, it''s not Ipswich it''s Ipsh**t[;)].
 13.
Safri v Magpies
Yep, I agree with that - what a screamer - 42 yards wasn''t it?!
 14.
I love luxurys [:D]
So do I ca, but at the moment I cannot see past Hucks and Martin as a front two. They appear to have a very good understanding already, so why break that up?
 15. So how long does everyone think it will be before he makes it to the senior England squad? And do you think he''ll still be with us.........?
 16.
Id agree with that he seems a solid keeper. How old is he?
He''s 32 Canary Lad. He does indeed seem solid but, I must admit, his kicking worried me a bit in the Birmingham game. I think he''s a far safer bet than Gallacher though, he has more presence for one thing [:D].
 17. Yep, that is VERY good news[:D]. I didn''t realise until this evening that the firm had refused to bankroll us and other clubs. Maybe they should rename themselves to Norwich Uturn!
 18. I quite like cityangel''s avatar - very cute [A][:)]
 19. Nice one hogesar, I look forward to seeing that - as will cityangel I''m sure [:D]
