1.
haha! why do some people hate the loan system? without the loan system we wouldn''t have had... Darren Huckerby Peter Crouch Ryan Bertrand Ched Evans All premier league standard (or soon to be) and yes I can see why people don''t like the way they often don''t turn out into permenant signings, but the bottom line is we can''t afford to keep buying top quality players, the premier league squad players want first team football, and this suits both parties
How could you leave out Martin Taylor?
 2.
I can''t remember who, but someone on here last week said they knew Cullum, and he was going to make a statement this week that would tear the club apart (releasing all the details of the ''offer''). It''s now Thursday, and nothing has come out. As I said before that guy tried to tell  me my views - I''ll reserve judgement until I hear the details. I am niether pro board or anti board, i''m just waiting for official information before i decide.
I read that in Nutty''s ''I''m sitting on the fence for now'' thread. Someone under the username of ''good tips'' said that Friday is when we''ll know more. I''m not exactly holding my breath.
 3.
Ive had two texts off two completely different people, who I dont think know each other, saying that Croft is on the way out........... Probably purely a coincidence and another stupid rumour, but made me think...... Does Roeder want Bell to replace a departing Croft? We know that there has been interest.
A potential £1.5m move to Wigan wasn''t it?
 4.
I dont need to read between the lines.  I know tha points they were making, but my question was not related to teir opinions on the pace of centrebacks I know they dont need lots of pace (acceleration yes but that is a different debate). My question really only needed a rather simple yes or no answer, to simple for some!

Malky was slow, and old... so was Flem...
and Iwan roberts jas :)
And Martin Taylor too. Sir Dion of Dublin wasn''t the quickest neither, although he still did damn well for 38/39. JC, I think you should perhaps read between the lines of what people are saying mate. Then you might see what other''s are getting at.

Very well then JC, just so you understand it, the simple answer is yes. Some of us here were merely backing up as to why we think yes, as Malky, Flem, Roberts, Tiny and Sir Dion all done very, very well for us overall. Answering with just a ''yes'' is a bit boring though, don''t you think? [;)]

 6.

So where in his post was Bob Stroud treating him like some kind of ''Hard done by Hero'' then Jas? Sorry, you''ll have to explain that one to me, as I just don''t see the link.
his original reply to Cam hints at that.
Bob is absolutely right. If whoever was on the desk when he lurched past could''ve been more assertive and stopped him getting into his car by taking his keys from him, then all this could''ve been avoided. But no. He was allowed to get in his car and drive off while still under the influence of alcohol.
as was mentioned on here the receptionist could of got off his backside and said "sorry Mr Pattison i cant let you drive your vehicle, you are over the limit"... for all we know how do we know he DIDNT try that.. my point is whats to stop Pattison saying "up yours mate" barging past and still getting in his car? He drove, he paid the Price and has been dealt with in the correct manor... he didnt Kill anyone, he may of done if he had''nt been stopped.... but he was and he, more than anyone else, should be greatful for that. Bob says thats "underhanded" Phoning the police.. and also self Righteous.. its NOT.. its the right thing to do... So Bob. if you saw Matty Pattison driving drunk would you of called the police?
How about you reply and try and answer the points that I''ve posted then Jas? Or is your head stuck so far up your own backside that you''ve missed them??
Specsavers are very cheap these days Mark. jas :)
Oh and you think a so-called ''hint'' is enough to warrant a reply like you wrote, yes? I think you have managed to completely miss the point of what Mr Stroud was getting at, in that it SEEMS that the receptionist actually waited for Pattison to get in his car before calling the police. If correct, then that IS being underhanded and self-righteous - whether you like it or not! I''m sure Mr Stroud would indeed have phoned the police if he saw Pattison driving while under the influence - but that''s not really the point here is it? The point is, that he should''ve been stopped getting in the car and had his keys taken off him. End of story. Oh and by the way Jas - I don''t need to use Specsavers. For missing Mr Stroud''s point though, I suggest you get yourself down there ASAP.
 7.

Did Roeder put a bid in for him? I must have missed that.   [:)]
What the elephant you mean?
No, John Hartson''s retired now [:D]

 9.
To be fair mate, he was found guilty at the mag''s. Do''t know if he pleaded, but there are 2 main things, someone saw him drive or he admitted it, and the machine proved he had more alcohol in his body than allowed. Simple. The only way people get off is when there technical issues. But Jas is right, if it was Hucks, your missus or any one, they would be stupid and deserve the law coming down on them.
I am definitely not saying or implying that they wouldn''t deserve getting the punishment, all I''m saying is that if the person who he lurched past had been assertive and managed to get his keys off him, then it all could''ve been avoided couldn''t it?
 10.

Yes. I know someone who works there and he had to put his hand on the bible and close his eyes and swear that if any footballers are staying at Dunston Hall he must not and i repeat he MUST NOT tell anyone. That is 100% Fact. The club and Dunston Hall have had ongoing discussions about it.
They have obviously tightened things up Dan/Good News Gordon. The first tip on Pattison being nicked for drink driving came from Dunston Hall who also reported him to Norfolk Police as he lurched past reception which is....errr...how they happened to follow him to Colney.  Bad luck?  We don''t think so this end.  Cops first, Mirror (or whoever) next. You really should get out more Dan/Good News Gordon.  A lot more.
Yes, I have always been angry about that incident. If they were so flipping concerned why didn''t they stop him from driving off ? Phoning the police after he''s left is so underhand and self-righteous it really gets my goat, and me as well. By the way, why does U''s fan Camuldonum post messages on this MB ? Makes no sense to me.
because if you were Matty Pattison and some pimply faced jobsworth tried to stop you getting in your car you would tell him what he could go and do wouldnt you? Dunston hall staff did the right thing.. Mathhew Pattison is a Human being, he isnt immune to the law. Stop treating him like some kind of Hard done by Hero... Rubbish footballer who got his collar felt... as he should of done too! jas :)
What a vacuous reply. Based upon assumption after assumption and a little bit of hyperbole thrown in for good measure. Therefore, not worth responding to. Sorry.
so he went to court and was banned from driving for nothing then eh? Just because he plays for Norwich City means he shouldnt be stopped for Drink driving? If you think that then your a pleb im sorry to say! jas :)
And where has Bob said or implied that he ''was banned for nothing then''? Where has he said or implied that ''Just because he plays for Norwich City he shouldn''t be stopped for drink-driving''? Sorry Jas, but you are going to have to explain much, much better than what you have been doing.

And to answer your question Bob - camuldonum simply enjoys posting on here and lot of us enjoy reading his thoughts from an outsider''s perspective.
 12.

Delia Out, skint and the Champs new whipping boys, then stick ''wizard'' on the end of your username, then we all know instantly your standpoint. Snakepit wizard, CT Wizard and Gorleston Wizard has a nice ring don''t yo think?................even Yankee Wizard works!.[;)]
I think most posters know my feelings about our lovely delia and co so dont need a wizard on the end of my name.....and it doesnt really go does it? TwoShedswizzard............nope definatley not!
I would''ve suggested TwoWizards, but there''s definitely more than that now!!
 13. Bigmarkwizard? Hmmmm. Still, I suppose I could then get called BMW [au] [:D]

 15. Barclay_Boy: ''go and have a look for your brain, when you find it come back and post again. I don''t think there was really any need for that, do you? Just because yoda expresses his views on how he sees things, which just happen to be different to yours, was there really any need to come back with such an unconstructive childish retort? It''s people like you who are bringing this forum to it''s knees, getting personal with someone and offering nothing by way of a constructive, non-insulting view in reply. For what it''s worth, I find that much of what yoda says can''t really be argued with and, before you or anybody else says anything in reply to this, I most certainly am NOT ''pro-Delia'', ''pro-board'' etc, she is most definitely NOT perfect but, sadly (And I do mean sadly), she IS all we have right now - along with that husband of hers. I don''t believe for one second that she has the best interests of City at heart, all she''s interested in are her shares and a nice afternoon/evening out with her hangers-on at the football. And £20m IS a derisory offer when you take into account what else Peter Cullum wanted as well, like her shares, two representatives (I''m sure it was two) on the board and a controlling say in things. I''m just hoping beyond all hope that he will come back with an offer that is a whole lot more acceptable to the club, if he''s really that interested. I also don''t like being kept in the dark over what was really said between the two parties last week, but I don''t expect an answer from the club anytime soon. There is the poster (By the username of good tips) in Nutty''s ''I''m on the fence for now'' thread on page 3, who claims that there will be a statement released to the press by Friday this week. He/she believes that this will be from Cullum. Whether he/she is telling the truth or not, remains to be seen. But I shall end by saying this: if there''s no serious cash injection into the squad between now and the start of the season, and we suffer another bad start like last season, then she and that hubby of hers may just have to run for the hills because I seriously doubt whether other fans like myself will put up with another season of absolute rubbish. Her big hint of investment at the RNS the other week would then be exposed as a load of total bull, which will leave a very, VERY sour taste in the mouths of a lot of loyal, honest NCFC fans.
 16.
But is has been seen that Shacks prospers with a leader next to him. compare his performances next to Doc to performances next to Dublin or Taylor.
Thing is though, the exact same can be said of the Doc. He looked a lot better when playing alongside either Sir Dion or Tiny.
 17.

...as Jonathon Walters leaves Ipswich for Stoke for £1.8mil. Do you think anyone else has a release clause like this at our club? Seems to me if people like Walters - a relative unknown when he moved to Ipswich - is demanding clauses like this, then they''re relatively standard.
who gives a cr#p he,s from the scum
Of course he is but, as much as it pains me to admit it, he IS a very good player who I would think is worth more than £1.8m. I will just LOL if it''s true [:D]

 19. I''d love Kevin Phillips to come here for a season or two, he''s proved he''s still got class but that arrogant so-and-so Morrison can stay where he is as far as I''m concerned. As for Mpenza, the scummers want him - so OH how I would laugh if we got him instead!! [:D]
 20. Yet another one for Lower Barclay Block D, I sit along Row A on seat 93.
 21. At last, it''s about time they sat down and talked instead of Cullum doing it through the media! This will be the first time they''ve had proper contact for over six months, so let''s all hope that eventually something positive comes out of this...

Some of the hate that has been directed to Delia might equate to that directed at a despot( any despot), Chopps just used Mugabe. Mugabe is in the public eye at the moment and I along with Mr Chopps and yoursef and no doubt everyone else on this board despise him. Sorry to take so long in replying have only just seen your post. The thread that got 26 pages, mainly because you refused to leave it be? In other words, not a despot, just something different. Another thing he could''ve done is put the [;)] icon next to his thread title. That may have helped more people realise that he wasn''t being serious in the first place and could therefore have deflected some, if not all, of the flak that he received. Don''t worry Arthur, I''ve finished now [:)]
