  1. and chimpy dives again and wins a penalty for Wales
  2. thank you canary & cat- some non alcohol fuelled thoughts and sense. Some on here think that we should be top 6 and Europe every year. That is just not going to happen.
  3. op you are a twa* we dominated Newcastle for long spells of the game, with luck & better finishing we could have drawn/won the game. Hughton will get it right ffs - yes, i know it''s an old record, but remember where we were 4 years ago. Lambert is not exactly doing a great job at Villa is he and as for Holloway - yep, let''s lose every game 4-3 and go down "happy".
  4. Snodgrass "penalty" was in front of where i sit and to be honest, if it had  been a west ham player being "fouled" and winning a penalty we would have been baying for him to be sent off. Needs to learn from lessons from Holty on how to win a penalty and look convincing!
  5. Holt IS playing a different role and it is clear to see that he is being told to play in that position. Frankly as we commented yesterday from block E, he does not look overly happy doing that. If the manager reverts him back to his best and clinical position, he will get goals.
  6. Holt was suspended, so playing him and Jacksomn up front was not really an option, was it?
  7. Old Trafford Probably one of the hottest October days on record in Manchester, played the champions off the park at times (if only pilkington had scored the "one on one"), Sea of yellow & green, 3,000 ncfc fans making more noise that 73,000 tourists. To me, it marked the day that we could cut it in the premier league with no fears
  8. At last, a sensible post following Saturday''s "disapointing " defeat by Aston Villa with their multi million pound players and full internationals. Even experienced full backs and centre halves make mistakes (Ferdinand and Terry have been poor this season). As long as they learn from the mistakes, and i am confident that PL will make sure that they do so, they will only get stronger. Some of the players may not yet be "good enough", but they are giving it a good go and we should be proud of that, not slagging of individuals who make the odd mistake.
  9. Ah, good ld Alan Black. Anyone sitting within 10 rows of the sidelines will remember his many "sliced" clearences into touch. Always gave his all, as did the majority of the players under general Saunders
  10. when did the application for the ballot close? As the game is not until 3rd December, it seems really early to close the postal application does it not?
  11. yep, if we only get a draw against man ure, liverpool, arsenal, chelsea etc, we are going to be gutted. we have come so far in two short years, it is time that some of you took a bit of time to reflect. Blackburn may have been bottom of the league but they are an established premier league side with some very good players.
  12. hear hear! anyone over the age of 10 wearing a wig/face paint/morph suit should have a look in the mirror. It''s not cool and adds to the notion that we are carrot crunching, straw eating yokels. you just know that the cameras will pick out these "individuals".
  13. not very bright of their "huge travelling fans" to chant "your support is f*ckin sh*t " was it!?
  14. the last time we used the Springbok, the beer was undrinkable - an absolute sh*thole. There are far better and more friendly pubs in the shepherds bush area - or indeed drink at covent garden/london bridge and get the tube!
  15. GJL - take your ear plugs mate. the last U21 game at Carrow Road was attended by thousands of kids all armed with bloody air horns and the like and yes, the hilarious mexican wave was "enjoyed " many many times. Do not forget to boo when the geriatric section fail to rise to their feet. Enjoy!!
  16. because we were sh*te up front and woeful at the back when it really mattered? it is no good dominating the game and ending up with f*ck alll, is it?
  17. no, just tired after 10 hours and counting, working for a living. Never made a typo then, smart arse? significantly older than 12 sunshine, just have less time than you to spend being a keyboard warrior.
  18. bannana - i would hazzard a guess that most of the posters on here would plump for you and wizzard as being infinitely worse - just a gess based on some of the utter bullsh*t you two post from time to time.
  19. plus you will need binoculars to work out who is who on the "mound". It is a fair distance from the road.
  20. if, as anticipated, 35,000 actually turn up, there is no chance that this amount of people have a hope in hell of lining this short route. Expect a lot of pushing and jostling in front of the very restricted area in front of the castle where the speeches etc will be made. This route and its final destination have not been thought out carefully enough (yes i know city hall is not available).
  21. Why in fcuks name would anyone want to buy overpriced official merchandise celebrating NCFC winning the third division?
  22. like wise with mine!! apologies mods - but sold at face value to real fans, so no harm done!
  23. please do not sing "on the ball city". The last lot on soccer a.m. made a right pigs ear and it sounded bloody awful
  24. Just back from a great long weekend in the North East. Crap game, but good result. A few more like that will do nicely. did anyone sample the hartlepool hot dogs in the away end and if so were you able to finish it off? They were bloody massive! How much did they cost? what a civilised place to watch football. A £3 pint out in the open overlooking the pitch, no spotty teenagers giving you grief. Maybe life in Division three is not that bad after all! (joking of course!) Why so many police and horses though?Have Norwich gained a reputation all of a sudden or do they normally roll these out for 4000 people?
