  1. Does any Norwich fan want to sell me their ticket and coach travel for Man Utd away? Went to the club and they said the club has sold out of tickets. My mobile number is 07772677931. From Craig
  2. I have two Norwich City old home shirts that I am trying to sell and get rid of...One of them is an adult size medium shirt (2003-05) with long sleeves with the proton logo. I would take £15 for it. The other shirt I have is a home shirt - an adult size small (1999-01) with the colmans logo sponsor. I want £15 for that shirt as well.So if anyone is interested in buying one of these shirts or both of them then please contact me on my mobile 07772677031.From Craig
  3. JF we can''t sign Benik Afobe now from Wolves - because the transfer window is already closed - besides we don''t need another striker because we have already signed MBokani. I didn''t want Afobe anyway because I didn''t think he would be any better than Grabban - just a championship player - not good enough to score goals in the premier league. Afobe has only played for championship teams throughout his career - so there is no guarantee - he would score goals in the premier league. But anyway we have got MBokani now and he is the guy we are putting our faith in to score us goals to keep us in the premier league.
  4. Grabban is not good enough to start a game for Norwich. He had his chance against Palace at Home and missed too many chances to score. He looked awful when he came off the bench when he came off the bench against Sunderland away. Also we have better strikers ahead of Grabban - MBokani (first choice), Jerome (second choice), Hooper (third choice). The three strikers mentioned will get a chance before Grabban does. He won''t even be on the bench against Bournemouth at home. The problem we have is we have a player who is unhappy at our club. We should have sold him to a championship team and then he wouldn''t affect us. The worse thing we could do is sell to Bournemouth and then he scores goals for Bournemouth - which leads to us getting relegated.
  5. Yes this would be a pointless signing - Barry Bannan plays as a central midfielder according to wiki. We certainly don''t need any more central midfielders as we have enough already. More of a priority is signing a left back & right back & centre back & striker - but at the minute we doesn''t like anybody will have signed by Saturday August 8th at the rate we are bloody going at!!! Its so pathetic that we have only signed two players!! You need more than two new signings to improve a team!!
  6. Sorry these foreigners who watch games in an armchair and claim to be Liverpool / Man Utd / Chelsea aren''t fans. All they bloody do is sit in front of a TV screen from a million miles away. Proper fans support their local team. They attend the home games and attended all the away games. Some of these foreigners have never been to watch those teams I mentioned in their life - they are couch sofas - supporting team is attending games by paying for tickets and giving the club money!! There is such a thing is a fake plastic fan - if you are from Norwich - you wouldn''t support Liverpool would you? How can you support that club when they are the other side of the country to you? Its absurd ridiculous!!! What is the point in someone from Norwich choosing to support Real Madrid - just watching from a TV screen and never going to the games?
  7. I couldn''t help but notice some of these foreigners on Facebook who claim to support Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal & Man City. Yet some of these people are from places like Somalia, and other countries from around the world. These aren''t true fans. They are plastic fans who just support a winning team. Most of us Norwich fans are proper fans - we support Norwich because we were born in Norwich. What is the point in supporting Barcelona if we are from Norwich? Some people are so ridiculous!!!
  8. You are so bloody negative. That is not the way to think you should we hoping Norwich stay up - not hoping we get relegated - sounds like the sort of thing an Ipswich fan would say - I hope Norwich get relegated. Norwich will finish midtable or top half. For 5 years people like you have been wrong. Norwich are now in their fourth year as a Premier League - so we haven''t gone down after all - have we? Yes we have been in the Championship for one season - but four of those seasons have been spent in the Premier League. Norwich are a club on the up - we will be the next Swansea / Southampton / Crystal Palace. It won''t be long before we are pushing for Europa League football with Alex Neill as our manager.
  9. alartz no need to resort to name calling!! To be honest I can''t see Andreu getting into the team ahead of Hoolahan. If Andreu was going to have any role in our midfield - I would think he would operate as Hoolahan does just behind Jerome in a 4-5-1 formation. Unless we play Andreu as a left winger - not sure if he is left footed though is he?
  10. I would rather we sign Robbie Brady. He is very versatile - can play left back or left wing. He would provide good cover for us  and he would make Olsson fight for his place. He is good at scoring goals and creating goals. I am sure if we offer Hull City enough money we can buy him. I have done some research on him and I am impressed with the amount of goals & assists he has got for a left back / left winger. Alex Neill has got to try and sign him. Robbie Brady Hull City (left back / left winger) 2011-12 - 3 goals & 3 assists & 39 appearances 2012-13 - 4 goals & 13 assists & 12 appearances 2013-14 - 3 goals & 2 assists & 39 appearances CAREER TOTAL - 10 goals & 18 assists & 63 appearances
  11. Adnan Januzjaj began his career with FC Brussels - but joined Anderlecht at 10 years old. When he was 16 years old in March 2011 Man Utd signed him and he joined Man Utd''s youth team / academy. To be fair to the lad he hasn''t really had a chance to play for Man Utd. I think he needs games and experience and I am sure Norwich City could offer that. He got 3 assists and 4 goals in just 27 appearances. So I am sure if he played more games he could get more assists and goals. He could do a job for us as a winger or attacking midfielder. We should sign him on a season long loan. I guess the other option is to sign left winger Robbie Brady from Hull. Will have to do some research on him and provide some stats. Man Utd 2013-14 - 4 goals & 3 assists & 27 appearances (league)Total appearances including cup competitions - 56 apps
  12. Yeah what you have said has nothing to do with the topic I am discussing. I think the reason ITV Anglia stopped working with Norwich City - producing DVDs is because ITV Digital damaged their reputation by not giving money to football clubs. Norwich City when they were planning to build the Jarrold Stand back in 2003 were owed £3.8m and they never received this money. Also a lot of other football clubs were relying on the TV money income from ITV Digital. Before the collapse of ITV Digital - ITV Anglia had produced 10 DVDs for Norwich City since 1995-96. Obviously after Norwich City didn''t get the money owed to them by ITV Anglia - they obviously thought ITV were no longer trustworthy.
  13. A friend of mine told me he didn’t get the job this year of doing a season review DVD for Norwich. He used to do a lot work for anglia tv - who used to produce Norwich City season Reviews but they lost their contract. Does anyone know why Anglia TV lost their contract with Norwich? I know DJM Digital used to encode and author a lot of the old DVDs.
  14. Well Morty judging by Lafferty''s stats his loan spell didn''t go very well with Çaykur Rizespor. He made 14 appearances and only scored 2 goals according to wikipedia. 2 goals is not good enough for a striker. He is as bad as RVW - he has the ability to score goals - but he just score very often. There is no way he will be good enough to play for us in the premier league. So I think we should sell Lafferty and RVW.
  15. Alex PritchardCAREER STATS Brentford - 2014-15 - 12 goals - 7 assistsSwindon - 2013-14 - 8 goals - 44 appsPeterboro - 2012-13 - 0 goals - 6 appsAlex could be a good signing for Norwich - certainly over the last two seasons at the clubs he has been at on loan he has demonstrated he has the ability to score and create goals. So yeah I wouldn''t mind seeing this attacking midfielder sign for our club. Mind you I thought Tony Andreu was signed from Hamilton as an attacking midfielder to replace Hoolahan. Andreu hasn''t played often though and I am sure he has ability to create and score goals himself - but obviously he will need first team opportunities to prove himself.
  16. CAREER STATISTICS Darlington - 2005-06 - 9 apps - 3 goals - 1 assist Burnley - 2005-06 - 12 apps - 1 goal - 1 assist Total 2005-06 - 3 goals and 2 assists Burnley 2006-07 - 37 apps - 4 goals - 0 assists Burnley 2007-08 - 38 apps - 5 goals - 1 assist Overall record at Burnley = 87 apps - 10 goals - 2 assists   Rangers - 2008-09 - 32 apps - 9 goals - 3 assists Rangers - 2009-10 - 39 apps - 7 goals - 5 assists Rangers - 2010-11 - 44 apps - 15 goals - 5 assists Rangers - 2011-12 - 23 apps - 7 goals - 1 assist Overall record at Rangers = 38 goals and 14 assists   Sion - 2012-13 - 28 apps - 8 goals - 2 assists Palermo - 2013-14 - 36 apps - 12 goals - 1 assist Norwich - 2014-15 - 20 apps - 1 goal - 1 assist CAREER TOTAL - 318 apps - 72 goals - 22 assists The thing is with Lafferty is he has ability - he can score goals. But he just doesn''t score enough goals. I mean this season we haven''t seen the best of him because he was always used as a left winger. But that is not his position and I think to get the best out of him he needs to play up front as a target man. The problem he has at Norwich is he has Hooper & Grabban ahead of him - so it will be very difficult for him to get into the team. I think it may better for him to move to another club - so that he gets regular first team football.
  17. Harry Toffolo has had a good season with Swindon. Very unlucky not to win the play-offs. His stats are impressive. He has got 6 assists and 3 goals. That is not bad for a left back. I would like to see him given a chance to play at left back - but I think it will be difficult for him with Martin Olsson playing there. It wouldn''t surprise me if Alex Neill decides to sign another left back as cover for Olsson. But then again can we rely on Toffolo to provide that cover? Would he be good enough to play at Premier League level? We can''t say for certain unless he is given a chance.
  18. June 5th - Scotland are playing. 10 days before international game. Russell Martin & Whittaker don''t need to be on holiday in that time. Kyle Lafferty is playing for Northern Ireland Sunday May 31st. Wes Hoolahan is playing for Republic of Ireland on Sunday June 7th. Nathan Redmond is playing for an England u21s against June 18th. Alex Tettey is playing for Norway on June 12th. Martin Olsson should be available - no international games for Sweden coming up yet. John Ruddy - no international duty B Johnson - no international duty Lewis Grabban - no internationals Jonny Howson - no internationals Cameron Jerome - no internationals Gary Hooper - no internationals Graham Dorrans - no internationals Ryan Bennett - no internationals This just shows me one thing - there was plenty of time to organise a victory parade on the streets of Norwich - when you consider the international games are days away. In that period of time the players could have done a parade. McNally is a liar - the players who are on international duty have lots of time before their international games. They could have a holiday - between now and July 1st. They have been very selfish in choosing to have their holidays rather than come into the city to celebrate with Norwich fans. Yes the players need a rest after a long hard season - but doing a victory parade would not have stopped them having a rest or a holiday. You have to realise they have weeks to organise a holiday between now and July 1st. They have five weeks which is lots of time to go on holiday - they just chose to put their holidays at a stupid time, They have upset many families who couldn''t go to Wembley - they have no time for these people. It''s so wrong that this city should miss out. Arsenal / Aston Villa will probably have a victory parade if they win the FA Cup - I read an article where Arsenal were planning a parade - that is because they care about seeing and spending time with their fans. Idiots like McNally don''t care about the fans enough. I appreciate the board appointed Alex Neill who has been a great manager and led us to promotion. But I don''t believe it would have been too much to ask to have a victory parade as a way of saying thank you to everybody in this city who has supported this club. After this year this club will have another opportunity to celebrate success again. Especially as our record in the League Cup & FA Cup is so bad. It''s pathetic that our club has to rely on getting relegated and getting promoted. When we will actually win a proper trophy?
  19. Player Stats from wikipediaHamilton Academical - 2005-2010 - 168 appearances - 10 goalsWigan Atheltic - 2010-2014 - 129 appearances - 11 goalsCrystal Palace - 2014-15 - 32 appearances - 2 goalsIt seems these stats reveal he can score goals - but he probably doesn''t score goals enough. Bradley Johnson scored 15 goals in one season and it took McArthur five seasons to score 10 goals. So maybe he is more of a defensive midfielder...
  20. Wouldnt bother signing McArthur - he has only scored 2 goals and got no assists. So the stats seem to indicate he is quite poor in terms of scoring and creating goals. He isn''t worth £8m!!
  21. Have Norwich United applied for promotion to the Ryman League Division One North? Did they submit an application?Do they ground grading issues? Can they upgrade their ground?Do they have enough money - what kinds of things would they need to spend money on? Can they not afford to updgrade their ground? When will know if they are staying in The Thurlow Nunn Premier or if they are going to get promoted to the Ryman Division One North?
  22. Analysis of Huddersfield second goal. Throw in to Huddersfield. Bassong not tight enough to his man. Player goes past far Whittaker too easily. Whittaker should force the guy away towards the corner flag and either (a) make a tackle and kick the ball out for a throw in or (b) kick the ball out for a corner. Another error was Dorrans failing to get tight enough and win the ball. R Martin gives Butterfield too much space to pass the ball to Vaughan. Andreu is nowhere near Vaughan - who scores with a neat finish. Now on the evidence I have seen from the video highlights - I question whether Alex Neill should select Dorrans again. This is a tricky one because he got an assist for Hoolahan''s goal. So yes Dorrans is good going forward and creating things - but defensively - he is poor and I don''t feel he offers us enough protection. I think a good solution would be to bring in Tettey who can control things a bit more offer us more protection. He has options if he wants to he can take out Johnson or Howson - i personally would take out Dorrans. My midfield would be Redmond, Howson, Johnson, Tettey Also I think Alex Neill will have to consider whether or not he wants to continue to select Russell Martin after poor defending from him from both games. Russ & Bassong have formed a good partnership and have kept clean sheets in recent matches - but I think after he might consider changing his back four / defence. If Ryan Bennett is ready and fit that gives him another option. Perhaps he should try Ryan Bennett & Bassong. Just an idea. If I was manager I would bring in Tettey to replace Dorrans & Ryan Bennett to replace Russell Martin.
  23. I have to say our board of directors should take a huge amount of credit for bringing in Alex Neil which has led to our success. I will admit when he was first appointed - I was thinking why have we appointed a man from a Scottish League with no experience? But now I will hold my hands up and say I was wrong. Norwich fans have been critical of the board - I was critical when Alex Neill was appointed. But he has proved what a good manager he is with our league form - 8 wins out of 10. Our board made a mistake bringing in Neil Adams - and he made a mistake by letting go of Bassong. Cuellar was a bad signing - makes too many individual errors and he should never play for our team again. He brought in Miquel - who is a waste of space - never plays and we pay for his wages. He kept picking Turner who continued to make mistakes which led to us conceding goals. Alex Neill being the genius that he is got rid of Turner & Cuellar and brought Bassong back into the team with Russell Martin and by the way the fact that we have kept clean sheets - proves Russell Martin can play as a centre back. So many people were saying he should play as a right back - well that is rubbish - Whittaker is doing a good job there - he has contributed with 4 assists for some of our goals. I just want to say if Norwich are promoted - well done to the board. I feel like I can trust them again. They must take a huge amount of credit for appointing Alex Neill. They corrected their mistake of bringing in Adams. I think they learnt their lesson from last season of keeping Chris Hughton too long - which resulted in our relegation from the premier league. They realised Adams couldn''t motivate our team to get results. I think Adams never quite got the balance right between attacking and defending. Signing Cuellar was a big mistake. We scored lots of goals - but didn''t defend properly. His decision to pick Cuellar & Turner is what led to silly goals being conceded. Signing Cuellar was a big mistake. Also Adams wasted money signing Lafferty - he only scored 1 goal for us - but then he got 3 assists. Lafferty certainly has ability - but maybe Norwich was the wrong club for him. I think signing Hooiveld was a mistake - don''t think we kept many clean sheets with him in our defence!! Vadis Ofoe not been a great signing - spends most of his time injured on a treatment table. I will give credit to Neil Adams for one thing - bringing in Jerome & Grabban. They have both scored vital goals for us. Also I think Gary O''Neill was a good signing - has played well in the games he has been selected. Three points tonight - would be awesome - so we can get into the top two. Wigan will be tough - they will be fighting for their lives. But I know Norwich players will work very hard for us to get a victory!
  24. Just looked at the player stats on the Swindon fc official website and their striker Andy Williams has scored 19 league goals. Norwich need to sign him. Williams is a better player in comparison to Lewis Grabbam.
  25. I do happen to have the Norwich City handbook for 1995-96 - but there is no record of who got the assist for Cureton''s goal in the match report. But I think it is one of those mysteries I won''t be able to solve unless I had the programme. You may be right - it could have been Milligan - but obviously there is no obvious individual because of the poor camera angle and lack of commentary.
