  1. As a Histon dweller I''m praying they beat Leeds on Sun to set up a match with City at the ''glass world stadium''.  It''ll be the shortest walk I''ve ever had to watch my two teams.Unfortunately I can''t make the match on Sun as work is dragging me off abroad but my kids have tickets.  Will they remember captain clappy Hughes though?  I''ve told them not to be insulting in case he jumps into the crowd again (and it''s no so much of a hurdle in Histon).
  2. Joining in abit late.  Fish''s starting post was spot on.  And the only model for us is having a good manager, giving them time to develop our own players, building a strong sense of camaraderie within the team, with the fans and last but not least entertaining us.  I do expect to have someting in common with the club and watch them score more goals than the opposition at home over the course of a season.  Frankly I don''t give a stuff about promotion, and don''t believe that we can sustain it in the top flight.  But I do expect to be in the Championship.  Most of the loan players look great and have provided some fantastic entertainment.  I remember watching Betrand, Gibbs and Evans tear down the left in a constantly accelerating series of passes that looked more like ice hockey than football.  But on reflection I remember feeling better after seeing McVeigh feint a header, trap a Doc bombshell and scuttle off between three lumpheads, because he was Norwich and would still be Norwich after Christmas.I don''t like GR, but we have to give him time.  If he''s sacked can you imagine anyone else worth their salt wanting the job?  If the Mumbles or Doncasters had any sense they''d give GR some coaching on how to handle media and fans.  Failing that they should ban him from going near a microphone or attending the AGM.And by the way what is the guardian?Or come to it when did we last get 25.000?
  3. I''d endorse the lazy claim.  He''d only been on the pitch about 5 min against Doncaster this season, had half heartedly tracked back and pointed his player out to Omozusi who was otherwise occupied and proceeded to cover nobody.  The amount of times he''s caught on his heels is unforgivable.  I just don''t see the work rate.
  4. I''ve been told not to look where I''m going to avoid depression
  5. Lappin at CB? He only weighs 70kg.  Might work against Arsenal youth but not in the Championship.
  6. Mister Chops, I''ve been crying with laughter in the office over my sarnie with concerned colleagues looking in.  Talk about looking on the bright side, thanks for rediscovering a lost sense of humour.  It''s been torture the last few seasons, up until reading this.
