  1. Unbelievably poor. So slow and uninspiring in the middle of the park.
  2. Qualifying for the World Cup is to be celebrated. But yeah the group and respectable results in friendlies count for nothing if you don''t deliver something decent in the tournament. Players like Hart and Cahill have come up short in the last couple of tournaments. Do they get yet another chance ahead of players with a future?
  3. Fwiw - Ronaldo is known to be a good guy in the changing room/off the pitch etc. Known to look after his team mates. He''s not a divisive figure. He just has self belief and determination by the bucket loads.
  4. He''ll have a chance at going to the World Cup. And he might well think that chance gets stronger if he makes a particular move in January.
  5. Neymar Tuesday night. Tom Bradshaw Saturday afternoon.
  6. I would prefer to see only one of the two deeper midfielders be of the stodgy type. Any two of Henderson/Dier/Livermore is too much stodge. I think one if them can be replaced by someone who offers more on the ball. So you could have a midfield 3 of Dier, RLC and Dele.
  7. Quite a decent game for a nil nil friendly. Eye catching performance from Loftus-Cheek but his ability has been clear for some time. Will be on the plane to Russia. Good display from Pickford too.
  8. If I was him I would have been walking around St George''s mentioning that I qualify for Scotland at every opportunity. Bit like Tammy Abraham talking up how he could play for Nigeria.
  9. Going in with the England senior squad.
  10. Yup. If you look at the Brady, Redmond and Murphy deals it''s hard to see a jump to the £20m mark. Especially as clubs will know our parachute payments are running out and we''ll need dosh. But if he bangs a few more goals and someone is desperate to spend money then you never know.
  11. He''s quite a way off being able to get in the Spurs side. Worth remembering that Pritchard couldn''t and they''re even better now. Tom Carroll and Ryan Mason had to move on too.
  12. As it goes Everton have had problems with a lack of pace in midfield and nobody upfront to score goals. Should be an easy transition.
  13. Time for the club to put out a story that they are desperate to hold on to Naismith and they really don''t want Moyes to come after him with all their Premier League money.
  14. I''d go if I was him. Unless Norwich made significant strides into the top 6 by January I''d go to any Prem club.
  15. Yeah but he''d be rich as f*ck so it wouldn''t be that bad.
  16. As Hog points out, I doubt he''s the kind of player Everton are looking for at the moment. Unless it''s to take a gamble on his future development. I don''t see him troubling the first 11 of many Prem clubs for now but there could be a desperation signing - like Jacob and Newcastle.
  17. With Pritch due back I would be surprised if they don''t cash in on one or the other by end of January. Have to guess Pritch is on a lot more money but may be easier to shift Maddison.
  18. Sounds more like Norwich want Everton to want Maddison.
  19. Hanley was obviously signed as a reaction to the defensive horror shows at the start of the season. Think we''d have got him if we''d won at Villa and Millwall and kept clean sheets? Not a chance. They''ll just spin it that they always wanted to sign him but were biding their time.
  20. Rivvo is great. He calls a lot of things right. But you can also tells he cares about Norwich. Of the regulars there are a couple of other popular former players who clearly don''t have the same love for the club but make out they do for the sake of their careers.
  21. If you said to Real Madrid, Barca or Bayern Munich you can have one of Rashford or Maddison which one are they taking?
  22. Paying the price for not doing something in the striker department.
