1.
The guy is a true leader and his ethusiasm determination and passion along with his exceptional abillity make him an ideal choice. Harsh on Holt maybe but Croft seems made to wear the armband.
Great shout Lincoln for the reasons listed but hardly harsh on Holt who at the moment is totally undeserving of a starting place in the first eleven. Crofts has been superb from day one of the season....
 2.

Well I for one think you should reconsider & insert your head firmly inside your rectum and look for a different option because this is the wrong option!
*clap clap clap* Great arguement mate. You are one of the all time great debaters. I therefore conceed to your rapier like wit and agree that my arguement although limited is completely wrong under the default that you are so evidently correct ! I also find it rather ironic that you slate Holt so harshly regarding him being lazy and overweight...... especially when you have picked the name " Gazza"
No debate to be had really, if you can truly not see this guy is not up to the job in hand I really cannot be bothered to list the reasons why  he should not be selected when it is there for one & all to see my friend! As regards Gazza lazy & overweight are you seriously comparing Grant to one of the greatest talents to come out of this country in the last 20 years, jog on!
 3.
Holt spends more time on the floor than my teenage son, can''t win headers and is offside more times than not. Having said that he''s all we''ve got in the air so where''s the option. The boos ringing out when Martin came on for Jackson said it all though. 20000 can''t all be wrong
Bingo Methane!
 4.

Anybody that believes Holt should start should seriously hang their head in shame, not good enough/lazy/overweight & effin'' useless but hey dont let those green & yella shades get in the way!!!!!
Hang my head in shame ? I think ive explained why I''d pick Holt for tuesday twice.
Well I for one think you should reconsider & insert your head firmly inside your rectum and look for a different option because this is the wrong option!
 5.
I really dont like him! Im sure everyone will disagree but he just isn''t championship standard! He never kicks the ball clean when he is making a clearance and what was he doing at the freekick burnely had from the crofts red card tackle?! Did he not get a call to tell him there was someone behind him? hes a liability! he needs replacing
Yaaaawnnnnnnnnnnn! next you''ll be telling me Holt is a world beater!?!?!

 7.
Holt doesn''t have to right to avoid criticism, and today he deserved a lot. Yes, he worked hard but he didn''t win a single header that I can remember and didn''t threaten goal. Add to that an inability to hold the ball up and you pretty much have the perfect storm as far as a targetman having a stiker is concerned. His distribution was also significantly worse than usual, particularly in the second half, and this ridiculous obsession with not jumping for balls and then claiming a free kick is becoming really annoying, as is the number of times that a good move breaks down as his trudge back from an offside decision has been too slow yet again. Martin''s introduction suddenly posed questions for Burnley that hadn''t been there all afternoon, as he worked across the line and started to use his body strength to get in front of the centre back and stop him getting a clear jump at the ball. However, the outstanding striker on display was Patterson, whose movement and finishing were excellent. He could have been ours.....
Totally agree with Beausant and poor management from Lambert to pick him to sum it up briefly his performance over the last three home games "A SACK OF SH*T#!" - 3/10..........
 8.

6000 arseholes in my opinion!, dirty scum.........
I take it you and smudger will be manning the cannon on foundry bridge again to keep them out of the Nelson Gazza? [:^)]
As long as u & Highland Lass our in the trenches with us?!?!
 9.

Just a reminder that there will be a question and answer session with City legends Kevin Drinkell and Ken Brown on Friday 26th November at Number 10 Bowling Centre, Bowthorpe, starting at 7.30. Entry is free for Ncisa members and non members can join on the door for just £5. ( for those who haven''t lost the will to live)
--- Perhaps it might be as well to give in to the inevitable and rebrand it as a debate between the various particpants on this thread.[:D][;)][:D]
We will be organising a further forum after Christmas which will involve Tilly and Nutty in a winner takes all mud wrestling competition. Naked[+o(]
Messy!!!, bit too scary for me!.  As an alternative how about the two of them could give us a repertoire of their extensive wardrobes in a catwalk show for charity perhaps to support Comic Relief?!?!?

 11.
Any of those above him a right back? or is he the best right back in the league currently?
Best RB in the league currently Ginger!, the more I see of him the more he reminds me of Steady Eddy!
 12.
Granted 90% of them are idiots and probably the least liked club in the land at the moment but they have sold over 6000 tickets for the coventry game this saturday and that''s the second time they have done that this season. Our support is great especially considering our geographical position but you have to say there away support is unparallel.
6000 arseholes in my opinion!, dirty scum.........
 13.
Sorry. Apparently the font size fuction is not working properly after our forum system downgrade. The table is available here: http://actimindex.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/champ_index_top10062.gif OTBC
Congrats to Russell who has certainly silenced some of the doubters so far and is doing a cracking job. Suprise not to see Leon Barnett up high in the list though and Elliott Ward way down it?! Also noticed that Jason Shackell seems to be performing, pleased for him......
 14.
@cityangel: If we can get someone in better than Holt then great. Unfortunately I don''t see many viable options out there, most of the players in the target man mold are being played consistantly by their sides. So it''s a matter of trying to get in a player that is not getting first team games in the form of either an older player or a younger player. Whilst one could potentially be another Sibierski the other will be reletively untried and untested.
Love this quote Chicken so does that mean we should not try to bring in somebody else for fear of failing?. Holt has been poor for half a dozen games now and if we want to take full advantage this season and have a real crack at it we need to improve in his position simple as!.  I for one seriously hope we address this with a "WOW" signing in this position because we can do it this year and may regret the chance if we dont speculate to accumalate!, as far as I''m concerned the position we are in at the moment we have to gamble as much as we possibly can...
 15.
Danny Baker has announced today that he has cancer. I know it''s not City related but the guy is a true football fan who made 606 unmissable. My thoughts go out to his family.
Just seen this Beaus, thanks for that!. The best presenter of 606 by a garden mile and one of the few presenters that actually knows football exsists outside of the Prem. Top man shame about the Millwall!, all the best Danny....
 16.
totally disagree. Ever wondered why he isnt playing regulary? (i no hes ben injured) its because hes a lazy good for nothing striker, Reminds me of a poor mans chris martin....
Totally agree one hundred per cent, if we are to bring in a replacement up top it has to be a player that is better than Holt. Same attributes as Holt but better, Jackson to me looks the only one who looks capable of bagging 15-20 a season in the championship to me....
 17.
Think Lambert said he''d be out for another month yet
I sincerely hope not because this man is really needed at the moment, he is the class act in our squad with Wes and over the next month would be extremely crucial to us gaining some big results....
 18. I think Holt is getting worse game by game!. No movement and even the lack of willingness to work is poor, twin that with his winning of virtually zero headers in two home games against struggling sides is simply not good enough!. The only time he seems to get any exercise is when his gob is in full motion with the constant ranting/moaning at the officials & other team mates! I also do not understand Lamberts infatuation with playing somebody that is currently out of his depth and in shoddy form to say the least!, his substitution of Jackson today was unbelievable because in the last 10 mins if anyone was going to score for us it was Simeon & his pace on the break..... Jackson/Martin to start all the way for me unless the "wide ass" can sort himself out ;0)

 20. Just have to mention that Wes in the second half for 20 mins was different class, if he could perform like that consistently how much would that guy be worth?! Outstanding..............
 21. Shocking keeper! althought I must admit I am warming to him playing here just as long as its not in our shirt ;0)
 22.
I read about John on here long before I met him and wasn''t sure what to expect. The fact is that he''s a smashing bloke who lives and breathes City and is always great company, and his efforts on behalf of NCISA speak for themselves, and I agree with Nutty''s point about hsi chairmanship of the St Andrews Hall meeting. With tensions running high, and differences of opinion abounding, John steered the meeting with great aplomb and ensured that all who wished to speak got the chance to do so. Hopefully he won''t also be resigning as captain of Team FM, as the prospect of Smudger taking over in that role is too gruesome to contemplate! Is it true that John intends to devote himself to his other great passion, the Womens Liberation Movement, for whom he has always demonstrated such fervent support?
Your not wrong on that one!
 23. Master Fanny Magnet as he likes to be called has commited many hours to NCISA over the years recieving flak from many sides i would imagine and in my humble opinion has done a cracking job. Will be sorely missed although perhaps he can now dedicate his time 100% to the good lady folk of Narfolk!?!?
 24.
think lambert will look to bring a loan in?
If we have serious ambitions about competeing at the top end of this division we have to, Lappin the only real left hand side replacement is a Div 1/ poor championship side player at best.... We def need that extra bit of quality that urman provide hopefully a three month loan deal from the Prem somewhere will happen......
 25. Deepest sympathies, hopefully the club will acknowledge this in some shape or form....
