  1. (oh and whats all the noise about Leeds being so well supoorted? there ground was half empty, yeah i know its a big ground, but half filling it in what ever league is a fail) Quite right GingerPele we all know that if the fixture had been at Carrow Road live on Sky there would have been at least 24000 attendance.
  2. For sure this is '' fry'' high on pizza, what a load of mozarrela.
  3. Castle Gates on Timber hill,3 screens one in high def plenty of city fans there.
  4. Yep but he''s the good looking one only its me that keeps the chants going longer, cos the youngsters don''nt have the stamina.I credit myself in bringing the melodic chant back that ends in City each time we score a goal.
  5. You keep the banter up my son I am a proud snakepit '' Old Boy'' fast approaching 50years of age and yes I was a Barclay boy in my teens.Calm down dear its all a bit of fun at the end of the day we are all yellow and green,it was us and the Barclay who got behind the team on Saturday after the Bristol penalty , no moaning from the Pit.Paul or (Rasta) you are a credit to the Barclay.Snakepiter Row L 251 little bald guy.
  6. I will give it a go in the Snakepit tommorrow night and see if it catch ''s on.
  7. Just been shown picture of Joe Kinnear sitting in front of workmate of mine on Saturday in the Jarrold Stand,he was with a couple of guys who were supporting Charlton.Did''nt think he would get recognised until my mate said look its JFK and he was rumbled.
  8. Just heard today from a work colleage that Gow bumped into two city supporters on Charlton railway station half hour after the debacle.Suitcase packed and waiting to get to Heathrow for a flight back to Glasgow. When asked about Gunns managerial credentials he indicated that the arriving train driver could do a lot better.Oh well bring on Division three.
  9. You are spot on Castle Acre Gunny was third choice ,Dowie and Sutton then Boothroyd and Malky were offered the post but only on a five month contract. My information came from a well informed source who is well conected. Still we are where we are and its up to us to get behind the players and Gunny and try and get out of the mire that Rodent left us with.
  10. Mrs Gunn had a exihibition in Elm Hill once and some wag wrote in the visitors book '' Pehaps Susan Gunn should stick to painting her nails''
  11. I have heard that it might have been Roy Hodgeson, apparently he is matey with Delia and could have offered to take charge over a glass of wine or two!
  12. Well hello you Barclay boys, I sit and STAND in the Snakepit but yesterday we stood without no problem from start to finish. We might be a little muted this season but we still have the honour of leading most of the chants.Yesterday was just Bloody awesume I salute the boys in yellow. This banter between the Barclay and Snakepit is all good natured lets keep it up,It certainly confuses the visiting fans and shut the Binners fans up.Anyway we are all shouting for the boys in Yellow and Green.Keep a look out for a little choir in the Snakepit half way up below the Radio Norfolk studio,we started the F*** off Jim Magilton. SNAKEPIT AND CITY TILL I DIE
  13. It would nice to revisit that old favorite that George Burley used to enjoy, F*** off Jim Magilton Oh what can it be For a sad Irish B****** And a shit football team All sung to the Monkeys Daydream believer tune( for the new members of the Carrow Road choir)
  14. I have  heard it will be Chicken Tarka , its like Chicken Tika but a little ''otter''
  15. Conversation in pub last week is that Roeder has bought a house at Newmarket, which is handy if you are working in either Norwich or London. PLEASE,PLEASE Turn up and sing your hearts out for the lads against the SCUM
  16. Apparently Wes Hoolahan was in the Ribs of Beef on Saturday night and reckons he off to Wolves on loan and if Roader is still here in January he wants out permanatly. They had a big bust up in the dressing room after the Southampton debacle and King Roader wants him out.
  17. To be fair shyster vocal support on midweek games always seems to be a bit muted than saturday afternoon games. If you were at the Coventry game the vocal support was spot on, and I think the Snakepit and Barclay were the 12th man for that game. When you get a good amount of away fans this always gets a two way banter going.OK so maybe city fans are not the most loudest around but believe me when we get going we rock Carrow Road.We could do with a bit more vocals from other certain parts of the ground though , we will be singing loud and clear in the Snakepit on saturday OTBC.
  18. 100% agree with you , if we ever needed to all pull together and make Carrow Road a wall of sound is this Sunday. The binners are already celebrating a win they just need to turn up and take the three points, well let every City fan there take up Glenn''s call and be the 12th man and kick the binners back down the A140 WHERE THEY BELONG.
  19. I agree with you 100% Stevie Wonder , this Sunday has to be a turning point for us the fans and turn up the noise . We need to be the twelve man more than ever now.Ok so we may have some second rate players, but if we are going to get out of this predicament then lets get off their backs and give them some confindence from the stands.where has all the noise gone from the Snakepit and lower Barclay,we have intimidated teams in the past and we can do it now.Not by whinging and whining,if we are going down then lets go down fighting.Remember the season we went up as champions Palace were bottom at Christmas and still won the playoffs, did their fans whinge yes but what support on the stands.LETS STUFF THE BINNERS.
  20. To the faithfull who travelled away to Charlton and Wolves , maybe a visit to the trading standards office might be in order. You might be able to do city for goods not fit for purpose, if this current squad and manager was a tin of varnish it certainly would not do as is said on the tin! Keep the faith , Sing on the Ball City as loud as ever.
  21. We are the '' Snakepit'', we make more noise than you, we make more noise than you!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. This is music to my ears Jas, OK its been a shit season but for this game lets sing our hearts out and get behind the lads.Wear your yellow and green with pride and lets give the scum a damm good hiding.I will be doing my best to keep the ''Snakepit'' singing and lets keep off the players backs.
  23. It could just be that this postponment along with the Burnley game might prove to be a blessing in disguise.Playing the two games at the end of the season with a fully fit squad very different to the one that started the season.I think a few teams will be looking over their shoulders at City maybe coming up the league. Wishfull thinking I hope so.
  24. I agree they were great support I noticed that a little band were even chanting all through half time interval.I think us City fans should take a step back and get this togetherness thing again .Lets sing our hearts out again,I remember when the Snakepit could keep a '' YARMY'' going for a good 20 minutes.Lets look forward to next season and be passionate fans again,I hate getting outsung by away fans every home match. We have got the meeting with the XXXX looming soon and I want to sing them all the way back to Suffolk. OTBC
  25. I agree with you Phatcanary9, the only way to get the lads playing and winning is to crank up the volume.Ok so it has been a S!!! season but hey we are City til we die and there is no way I am going down without a fight.Lets get Carrow Road back where away teams fear to tread again.Get behind Grant,Get behind the LADS, and make your own mind up about the directors. I want to hear the Snakepit and Barclay roar again, maybe the South Stand( I never say Jarrold cause they put me out of work) will join in and finally River End might raise a mumour! ON THE BALL CITY
