2. Yep we''re down, i can''t believe it... i don''t want to believe it and i won''t believe it until we''re playing in the Paint sheild thing. The board and players have let us down, the fans have been incredible as always with their turnout and i suspect that trend will continue. But at the present i don''t care if we take league 1 by storm and go unbeaten next season, every victory should be classed as a defeat next season because we shouldn''t even be there. The spiral of failure that has slowly knocked this club down has gone out of control. I must say i''ve always been an optimist hoping to see a fresh start in the past 3 seasons and it hasn''t happened, this year i thought we''d have a shot at mid table and improvement but the loan mentality got stupid, we had an unsettled team, ungelled team and consiquently went down. If you look at it theres a number of people to blame, the team to start with. But the Managers as well. Yes the Managers, Worthington maybe a long shot blame but he left us with some crap and a rubbish mentality on the pitch for all the good he did prior. Grant wasted what money we had left, had no idea what he was doing and then we ended up cut off from the pack at the bottom of the league. I''ve never seen someone so shell shocked and clueless as he looked on that night at Loftus road. Roeder... well, i thought he would come good, but all he did was become a one season wonder, he delayed the rot and then grew his own. He started this Loan FC mentality and maybe Grant wasted the money he could of used, but he is to blame more than any. This is his team at the end of the day. And Gunn, i don''t blame him a bit. The biggest shame is that hes the one whose going to be the scapegoat, out of all of them he''s the one who loves the club and its fans and would do everything in his power to prevent what has ultimatly happened. Love for the club may not be enough, but the other three have gone off to other things without a second thought. Worthy may say good things about the club but Grant will see it as his one shot at being a manager and his failure. Roeder may well see it as the twilight of his career. But its a shame that Gunn will go down as the manager who relegated us, and considering how Roeder left us he had some balls standing up and giving the job a shot. The board were wrong to appoint him, they have to go now no debate about it and i hope to see Doncasters resignation within the next week. Protests should happen now, Delia should be removed and change needs to take way before its too late. Hopefully Martin and Spillane will come back and help push us towards promotion next season, and hopefully Gunn will avoid being made a scape goat. But Roeder, Grant and the board should all be ashamed of themselves, two won''t be, and the board will preach prudence and ambition which is revealed as the load of crap it really is. Gunns the only one who will be ashamed. A real pity.   *i''d like to take this oppourtunity to apologise to Wiz and some of the other board-outers i''ve argued with in the past stopping at Cluck and Smudger who i won''t apologise to purely for the hate and vitriol they showed to the club even when things went well.*
3. ok so that didnt really work... probably best to follow the link if you want to waste 30 seconds of your life.
4. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/ipswich-to-keep-large-net-handy-200904241726/ IPSWICH TO KEEP LARGE NET HANDY IPSWICH Town yesterday unveiled Roy Keane as their new manager but stressed they would be keeping a large butterfly net to hand, just in case. Keane prefers to bite down on a pencilChief executive Simon Clegg said that while he expected Keane to bring silverware to Portman Road the club also had a responsibility to ensure they could catch him as quickly as possible. He added: "The net is the safest method, but if he manages to outrun his carers then we are prepared to bring him down with a tranquiliser dart and then secure him to a wooden plank using strong leather bindings." Much of the club''s offices and training facilities have been padded in anticipation of the appointment, while a treatment room has been refurbished to accommodate Keane''s electro-shock paraphernalia. Keane told a press conference that Ipswich was a great club with a proud history that had always punched above its weight and said he was looking forward to taking his first training session just as soon as the 40ft high chicken had been removed from the centre circle. The Manchester United legend also claimed none of his former team mates had so far made a success of management, while only a handful had harnessed the power to make themselves invisible. Keane said that Mark Hughes had done better at Blackburn than Manchester City before insisting repeatedly that Steve Bruce does not exist. He added: "I have the support of the owner who understands that it''s very important for me to able to buy any player I want and then experiment on him in my underground laboratory." meh....
5. listening in from Melbourne!!Come on NORWICH!!!!!
6. I''m just going to stick the "come on Man united" out there.Would much rather see them in the semis against arsenal than some pushover portugese side who caught the world champions on an off day. Would rather see Barcelona throw Chelsea out, United chuck out arsenal and then one hell of a ding dong in the final, which we should of seen in last seasons semis.Just throwing that out there.
7. In a season where theres been few highs, tonight has been awesome. I''m currently staying in Australia so been able to avoid listening in on thrashing after thrashing week after week. But to wake up and see the scoreline of 1-0 no matter how gritty and hard thought, over Plymouth to complete the double over them is fantastic.I will now have the pleasure of returning the favour of emailing a few friends to rub salt in the wounds, as was their turn in the past few seasons.Thank you very much Norwich City.

12. ah... good to see theres still some humour on this board.
13. OK, so i''m crazy and all that, in Australia and the heats getting to my poor ''pommy'' head and everything - yes, i''m a nigel positive, or cabbage or chirpy charlie or whatever we''re being called these days, sorry about that!anyway, when i look at the table we''re obviously not looking so hot... pretty cold like, i dunno... scotland, alaska, wherever. but theres a heck of alot of teams around us who are also looking dodgy at the moment. Doncaster have been on a bit of a run of late it seems, Blackpool haven''t exactly convinced me so far this season, Derby i think are playing a very risky game, Barnsley are always in this position and are due some bad luck.i will not comment on Plymouth because if i say something pro norwich with regard to them (e.g. Norwich are better therefore will survive over them) then they will pick up form make it to the playoffs and go through on a dodgy own goal from the half way line in the 90th minute at wembley (incidentally i hate plymouth)Forest also seem to be on a bit of run, and watford have also picked up whereas poor ole Norwich city haven''t had the best luck in the world of late although there seems to be the odd good performance whereas southampton and charlton both seem to be out of it. Now i say that but both of those have games in hand, as do all the others save Plymouth. Which gives us and interesting Norwich v Plymouth tussle for the end of the season. But just because the others have games in hand doesnt mean they will win them, this league is unpredictable and they might all win them, but considering their position in the league its unlikely and while one or two may get a result, another couple may draw i doubt every game down there yet to be played will be won.factor in another little thing called form, Doncaster, watford and forest haven''t done too bad of late in terms of getting themselves away from the bottom and heading in the right direction, whereas derby, norwich and plymouth all doing fairly badly. form in temporary, once the new management team clicks i believe we will pick up form, doncaster and forest may well lose some, derby are probably ok where they are but blackpool and barnsley look precarious, as do watford should their luck change. Should form reverse, and i hope it does then this league could get even tighter, theres what 13,14 games left? thats alot of points on the table and alot of football to be played, we are a long long way from the finish line and it may get worse for us and it may get better, even coventry and co aren''t completly out of the woods and although above i said southampton and charlton look dead and buried they may well improve and drag themselves clear. Norwich vs Plymouth will be a massive game, that much is true but we did them over at home park, no reason we can''t do it at carrow road. 15 Doncaster 326559105291725-9 40 16 Blackpool 3245719255651417-9 38 17 Derby County 3064519163481425-8 35 18 Barnsley 31636191542101126-11 35 19 Plymouth 3353819234581019-13 35 20 Nottm Forest 3246616194481826-11 34 21 Watford 31835302413111429-9 33 22 Norwich City 33646282224111530-9 32 23 Southampton 3217813225381628-21 28 24 Charlton 32547222713121228-21 25Long way to go yet.On the ball city.(no i am not a binner, i do not know Peter Cullum personally, i do not work for the club, delia, neil doncaster and i can honestly say i have no idea why gordon browns in charge - i also did not take lessons in stupidity from smudger, or we8wba although i admit my grammer isn''t at its best in this post, please get over it.)
14. 1 Reading      882 Wolves       873 Brum          844 Cardiff        785 QPR           756 Preston       7321  Norwich  4522  Forest     4423  Soton      4323  Charlton  33maybe messed that up a bit charlton will probably get a few more than 33and can''t see Cardiff and Preston in the top 6... but as said above somewhere, theres still hope and still a heck of alot of games to go.

18. i''ve been in Australia for about two weeks now, pleasantly suprised by the interest in football, alot of people seem to have interest in it.
19.

The bloke is a prat, he''s had three relegations in ten years, what credible manager has that on their CV? If anyone can name one i will be amazed. He is tactically naive, hes a clown, a media whore. When i went to watch Q.P.R v Leicester on new years day 08, a QPR fan came up to me and said "look forward to boring football under Holloway", he was so right and we were losing games as well. He took us in to the thrid tier for the first time ever. I don''t want to see Norwich relegated, i have a soft spot for your club, but this would be a disaster.
My favourite Holloway quote (courtesy of the 2008 retired Sports Editor of the Plymouth Evening Herald):"I love this place (Plymouth) so much that even if I were to be sacked by the club I would stay here for the rest of my life.  I don''t want anywhere else." This was uttered while, it subsequently transpired, he was in negotiations with Leicester. If you end up with Holloway, jolly good luck boys and girls.  Heaven sent for the EDP and for fans who want to hear the right words.... "The most fabulous fans in the world - and I mean that.  It''s only Plymouth (Norwich) but there are none better.  They are unique, unequalled in my experience in football and I''ve been about a bit.  Man U are always carping but Plymouth (Norwich) fans aren''t a 12th man - they are an 18th man." You read it here first.  Good luck. [:|]
I can confirm that Plymouth is a dump, and that Plymouth fans are rubbish. we do not want holloway based on his opinion on plymouth, even if he was just speaking crap.
20. Or... Curbishley    - not a chanceJewell     - if he can''t hack this division with derby....Pardew   - Maybe... may be the dark horse of the lotInce  - Another possibility although unprovenBoothroyd - most likely, good norwich connections and seems to be the fans choiceHolloway  - another strong possibility, good with no money, rubbish with money that would probably be the top range of candidates with people like Royle, Mcallister etc all as back up options.
21. i''m starting to agree now, we can''t keep this endless cycle of a new manager every year.
