1.
Cocaine, ecstasy are 2 drugs which are totally out of your system within 24 hrs so if a player chooses to do some on a saturday after a game is up to him, it won''t do anything to how he plays on the following Wednesday or Saturday.
Complete fantasy. Cocaine can be traced in hair follicles for up to three months. Remember the Romanian team who turned up for France 98 with bleached hair..... Its the only way to hide it.
 2.
......Drugs are for Duffers! [N]
Tea. Coffee. Chocolate. Tobacco (def ban that one) Alcohol...... Lot of ''duffers'' (?) out there
 3. By the way Diesel she wasn''t the same girl....
 4. I asked if they''d ever been tested. The policy is apparently only to test anyone ''suspected'' of using drugs. LOLIts long been the opinion of the terraces that its the most likely explanation for the massive inconsistancy shown by certail players, yet the media by and large leave it alone. I''m not suggesting the instigation of a witch hunt - I''m not particularly anti drug - but it is rather strange that the drug / gambling culture in football is largely overlooked.
 5.

Oh God, I got a slapped wrist from the mods last time this subject came up, I''m keeping scthum...
I say it for you.... I thought his girlfirend worked for the club....
Not the one I was thinking of... mine is much seedier than that... [:)]
I was talking about ....... never mind
 6. yeah, thanks for alerting the world to a young prospect not under contractBet the club are chuffed with Hunter................
 7.
I think the No13 shirt was something to do with the Norwich City Supporters Trust - will try and find out
Nothing to do with them its been around for years. I first saw it in Sao Paulo (Corinthians) about 20 years ago and wrote to the club then suggesting it might be a nice gesture. Since then loads of clubs have done it, Besiktas in Istanbul did it for years.... lots of English clubs jumped on the bandwagon 4/5 years agoAll a bit old hat and patronising now.....
 8.
the sound of 12,000 fans in the Barclay getting up from their seats in anticipation.
Make that 4000
 9. Funny how everyone raved about Gally at the end of last season..... one good save against QPR and he was here for life.......
 10. I''m sure he does want to stay - he''s on a cushy little number. Always thought he was over ratedGet rid. And the rest of the back 4Lappin offers far more.....
 11. Where would Worthy have played him?1/2      Wide rightEvens  Would never have played him under the age of 235/2     Released him to Peterborough3/1     Right Wing Back7/1     Centre Half
 12. We leak down the left for obvious reasons..... Huckerby rarely defendsWe leak in the middle for obvious reasons .... Doc isn''t very good and Shacks exposes him again and againWe leak down the right becuase if you played Colin Hughes AND MLJ we still wouldn''t have a RBHughes has been a disgraceful waste of £500k, his best position has undoubtedly been RB, though personally I''d release him tomorrow. Club Joker he may be, but we could get every childrens entertainer in East Anglia for his wage......
 13.
surely, its time for the board to match the loyalty and commitment of city fans and do what is necessary to attract the funds Granty needs to build a team fit to challenge for champs honours.
Tell you what..... you post your knowledge of the individual board members financial commitments to the club to date and lets see if you can match 10 percent of the lowest figure.Maybe its time the fands matched the loyalty and commitment of the board.
 14.
Oh God, I got a slapped wrist from the mods last time this subject came up, I''m keeping scthum...
I say it for you.... I thought his girlfirend worked for the club....
 15. No game should ever be shown unless the game is sold out in my opinion. Its been the policy in the NFL for 30 years and it works well. The TV company have the option after a certain time period to buy up the remaining tickets and distribute them amongst the relevant community.Having said that we dont deserve to be on an live broadcast......
 16. I''ve never rated Drury as highly as some, though in his defense he does have to contend with getting very little support from Huckerby and a CB next to him who has no positional sense whatsoever. Shacks shows little sign of improving either. Yes he''s brave I accept that, his commitment is without question, but he exposes both Drury AND Doc too often. Couple that with his extraordinary ''clearing with his instep'' habit and you have my candidate for first person to be replaced. Actually i''d replace the entire back 4.Bring Eddy back......
 17. Well of course its ''reactive''...LOL ........ One transfer at Norwich City may depend on 10 other transfers being agreed first.Ever bought a house? Same thing, a chain develops. Its very rare an approach for a player is as simplistic as you would like. Everybody wants to cover their behinds before pen is put to paper, fail to do that and you find yourself starting a season in the Premiership without striker and a centre half...... Sound familiar? So you cant have it both ways......
 18.
So in answer to your question : Yes some of it is the boards fault. Since the transfer window system started our whole transfer policy has been reactive. And the lessons of past mistakes don''t appear to have been learned at boardroom level.
So taking the failed signing of Cotteril as an example, what do you think the staff at Carrow Road could have done differently, which will be interesting when you clearly have no idea what the club DID do........Ashton was looked at in pre season, but Crewe / Ashton / Ashtons agent were awaiting bids from Liverpool and Tottenham. A huge amount of time was being spent addressing the Primus debacle as well as a couple of loans that proved to be quite succesful, one of which turned into a permanent transfer, one returned and the third, although bis for, decided to stay where he was and fight for his place.That. as they say, is history. And no, I am not Neil Doncaster. Another ''assumption''
 19.
How do YOU know how many man-hours went into it - if you want to complain about ''unsubstantiated'' rumours and claims you can''t just make a bold sweeping statement like that without revealing your source and/or your position within the Club.
Are you really that ''green'' (pun intended) that you cant answer that for youself? Console yourself that I''m a real chancer that knows nothing. EastMidlandsCanary - you restore my faith in our education system single handedly. Rest assured that the board will do EVERYTHING in its (obviously minimal) power to deter any player who might be of ANY benefit to the club in terms of PERFORMANCE or INVESTMENT (because believe it or not thats what players are considered to be) from signing the pittance of a contract we might offer. God forbid (on the other hand) we be accused of paying over the odds to the likes of Andy Hughes and Peter Thorne, prudence when it suits the fans, reckless indulgence when it suits the (we''ll be here long after you''re gone) faithfull eh? Never mind that the best possbile facilities are provided at the lowest POSSIBLE prices to the ''fans''. Dismiss the trivia concerning things like running a business (for thats what it is, whether you like it or not), balancing books and satisfying shareholders.... many of who are NOT week in week out supportersI''ve got better things to do. But really you demoralise me to the nth degree. And when that passion is driven out, or the bottom of the fiscal reach is achieved..... enjoy the drive along the A47 my friends.
 20.
I am a Buffoon........and sure as damn, "proud of it!"
Game set and match.
 21.
and exactly how do you know the amount of work being done?
I wonder.
