1.
sneijer (holland CAM)
Thanks for clearing up who Wesley Sneijder is ...
 2.

Shackell away at Palace in our promotion year. Goran Maric in the JPT round 1. Theoklitos... Im sure theres more, but I think ive wiped most of them from memory!
Was that when Shack was played at left back in one of his first games. I went to a Palace away game with the Shack at left back and every single pass (all bar a couple) went into the crowd!! I would also like to add a young winner on loan against Leicester about 2 seasons ago! His name escapes me at the minute! Anybody at the game would know who i mean!
James Henry, and I''d go along with that aswell.
 3. Hahahahahaha. How incredibly lame can you get? This really does hit new heights ... A player should now be kicked out of the club for celebrating winning the title. Oh dear ... Actually, come to think about it, you''re right. He should have stood, upright, hands by his side, with a serious look on his face. How dare he! TERMINATE HIS CONTRACT IMMEDIATELY OR I WILL BOYCOTT NEXT SEASON! Now, seriously. Gill was taking the mick out of somebody he clearly knew, as I''m sure most of us do to our friends. Secondly, he was having a great time and considering he has been a bit-part player at times - I think he did incredibly well to join in the celebrations so much. Infact, me and my friends saw them getting off the bus and going into a party at carrow road, and Gill (though a little drunk) told us to try and get in! It wasn''t going to work, but top man all the same for not just ignoring the fans like he so easily could have. On another note, Lambert is a top guy who stopped to have a chat with us, and when we admitted we struggle to understand his accent, he just gave it back to us and said he does to us aswell! Thought he was an extremely top bloke! Also, Fraser Forster didn''t give us any insight into whether he would stay, as all he said was ''It''s not up to me mate ...''
 4.
Why does he buy so many programmes?
He buys them for various people, always 3-4 each game, I''m not sure who though. Also, if there is two versions of the program, as there was at Huddersfield (A home and away programme) - he gets them both for himself.
 5. Voted Wes Hoolahan. Simply because I can see people ignoring him and I think he deserves to be in the top 3 at very least. If he''s not it would be a bit of an insult to what he''s done for us this season, so he''s got my vote [Y]
 6.
I thought crook was the third? but i have no idea who the fella was in the stands crouched next to Lambert (had a middle eastern look to him)?
The guy in the stands was Stephen Phillips. No, the guy I''m talking about was black, so definately not Crook.
 7. Who was the third guy that got sent off? Lambert, Karsa and who? Had never seen him before.
 8.
Beckford is a good Championship player
Wow, if that''s what we have to look forward to being up against, I can''t wait to walk the championship title aswell!
 9. I hate Leeds fans. Just looked for trouble at any opportunity. We got some abuse thrown our way before and after the game. I so hope they stay down, they deserve it.
 10. Is the laziest player I have ever seen. He never chased down the ball, gave up the minute he lost it (which was everytime he came up against Doc or Nelson), then clapped our fans when we had won it as if to say ''Yeah, well done, the league is yours, but I dont want to be at Leeds anyway so I''m leaving''. In no way possible is he the ''best forward in the league''. I''m glad we don''t have a player like that on our team. Also, what did Kandol get sent off for? Was too busy celebrating at the time and missed it!
 11. Went by coach today, and our driver took the sign that said ''Halifax'', when the sign on the exit before that said ''Huddersfield stadium'' ... [:|]
 12.
Hi Dr Ink Great thanks, shame about the bad language, I suppose that had to be in there. Pity there isn''t a clean version. Thanks though.
This is the football, not a nursery. There''s going to be bad language ...
 13.

We''ve had this argument before, and as Smudge quite rightly pointed out, Lambert takes corners for some strange reason, so the spot kicks he takes balances out with his corners. Both very good league 1 players. Can they make the step up? Not sure yet.
Sorry CIB but how many times would a player score from a corner??? as apposed to a pen??? how this is balanced im not quite sure..lol..[:D]
Because he''s not then on the end of them to nod them in ... Pretty obvious.
 14. I''d consider playing Gill. We badly missed Russell today and, even if in a 442, Gill is one of the only players we have that is a similar player to Russell. I''d be tempted to play McNamee, Gill, Smith and Hoolahan.
 15. I thought he was superb again today. With Russell out, and Smith on the bench, we were missing the two midfielders that usually run their socks off and help out the defence. Therefore Doherty and Nelson had twice as much to do and were exposed far more often to Southend attacks tonight. Doherty dealt with it superbly and I lost count of the number of last ditch tackles he timed to perfection to stop them getting a shot in at goal. He may get a lot of stick from many fans but I don''t think anybody can doubt his performances this season. He''s a top class centre back in this league and I certainly wouldn''t replace him at the minute if Askou, Spillane and Whitbread were all fit.
 16.
Defo... [Y] Don''t go ruling Doherty and Lappin out of any blame though.  Lappin wins nothing in midfield, he can''t tackle full stop.  Have you noticed that we appear to be fairly solid so far down the right tonight?  Even Russel Martin is having an ok game by the sounds of it with a quality player like McNamee in front of him.  I know that Rose will get crucified by the majority, but feel a large part of why so much is coming down that side is because Lappin offers ZERO protection in front of him. If we get Korey Smith on the right and put McNamee on the left now then maybe we have a chance of getting back in to this game???
You''re joking, right? Doherty was superb today, and had twice as much to do with the exposure him and Nelson had without Russell sitting in front of them. MOTM behind McNamee tonight, easily.
 17. Lappin hasn''t been good enough for a while now and shouldn''t have a place cemented in the team. Korey Smith, in my opinion, was a major difference tonight when he came on. We desperately missed him and Russell in the middle and I hope he replaces Lappin this Saturday. However Smudger, I disagree McNamee needs to play down the left side. I realise you weren''t at the game today, but McNamee did not go over to the left hand side once Lappin was taken off like you suggest. The benefit of having him on the right is that he can actually cross with his right foot. This means he can both get to the byline and deliver a cross, and cut back onto his favoured left and get in a cross. If he''s on the left, he''s going to be far more tempted to always go to the byline and use his left, making it more obvious to defenders what he is going to do. I think this was a major reason his performance was so good today, defenders had no idea which way he was going to go.
 18. Hoolahan proved yesterday he can do the defensive duties as well when needed. He was back helping out the defence, winning the ball and getting it clear more than once through the game, I was very impressed with that. I now have no doubt Hoolahan could play in a flat 4-4-2 as a central midfielder, especially alongside a more defensive minded player. McNamee can then slot in on the left side of midfield - so yes, they can play together. Seondly, even if you don''t believe Hoolahan can play this role, 4-3-2-1 is another option, where McNamee and Hoolahan can both player behind the frontman. Obviously, Martins form means this won''t happen, but it is just another example of how they can play together.
 19.
But actually, my biggest beef is with those monkeys that sit alongside Jeff Stelling - the only sane one among them - who talk UTTER UTTER bo**ocks all saturday long. Merson, Thompson, Le Tissier... If you don''t know what i mean, just listen, if you can, to Phil Thompson, probably the worst of the lot, on a Saturday in the build up to kick off. Imagine the Top Gear studio, only MORE male dominated.
Or you could have just said: "I wouldn''t be happy with anyone talking about football. Nobody in the world knows anything about football. Even if they do, I''d still moan that they don''t! I''m sorry but this attitude really annoys me. People like you are just looking to complain at every single football pundit because you don''t agree with EVERYTHING they say. Admittedly, I think some are utterly useless - Mark Lawrenson being one - but I also think a lot of them are very good - Alan Hansen being the best example. As for Le Tissier and Merson especially, they help make Soccer Saturday what it is. It''s a good laugh and can be quite funny, Merson in particular contributes no end to this. I suppose you''d have Chris Kamara kicked out as well - Oh dear.
 20.

ankergren is shit mate, never worthy of team of the year. Beckford, Snoddy, Kissy, and probably by the end of the season mcsheffrey, he has shown why he shouldnt be playing in this league already.   And of course grayson as manager ;)
I dont think Grayson could win manager of the season.. Lambert have closed the gap down on leeds from -11 to +4
grayson grew the very gap you speak of, and it will be +1 tonight
Well then Mystic Meg, you''re leaving it very late to grab 2 goals and win the game ... But still, I''m sure you are true to your word ...
 21.
do they find the dumbest city fans to interview on purpose
Exactly what I just thought. No wonder we are stereotyped so often.
 22. Got them all straight away. Quite a bad team considering we''d only just dropped out of the prem!
 23.

Got to be the Docs fault surely? Hes normally the one blamed by the sheep!
im not a sheep, i just know a crap ginger excuse for a defender when i see one !
Doherty was by far our best defender today. Excellent performanced. Our second best player in my opinion after Martin (and yes, I went, that is not based on what I heard on the radio). When he was pushed upfront, however, then he was poor. Nelson is poor and you always worry he will make a mistake. Whitbread must play infront of him, he is clearly the better player.
 24.
After being penned in for a good half hour after the final whistle today (I may be exaggerating), I''ve finally arrived the many miles to my home in East London. Some ratings: Forster - 7. Did what you''d expect, including a truly superb 2nd half save. Had no chance with either goal but did well throughout. R Martin - 6. A game of two halves. Excellent in the first, good covering, good attacking instincts. Very poor in the second and couldn''t buy a pass. Rose - 5. Poor. Always exposed but did not have a good game. Doc - 7. Series of good tackles, always looked in control, though ineffective when thrown up front. Nelson - 7. Very good game. Reads the game well, showed some good touches too. Lappin - 4. Really, really poor. Never in the right position, exposed Rose far too much, couldn''t pass, couldn''t cross. A very bad day for the king of spain. Rusty - 7 the only member of the midfield 4 to turn up. Smith - 6. Showed some promise when on the ball but lightweight, easily brushed off, afraid to go into the tackle. Wes - 5. Anonymous, and when he was on the ball he had his shirt torn from his body. C Martin - 6. Well taken freekick, and showed some good instincts defending set pieces, but otherwise a bit anonymous. Not helped by a nonexistant midfield. Cody - 6. Likewise. Ran a lot, tried, but didnt get a lot of service. The front 2 can''t make chances on their own. Zak - 6. Showed some good touches and was composed, but not on the pitch long enough to really make a difference. Macnamee - 7. Lots of promise. Crossed better than Lappin and Wes did all day. Oli - 6. Not a lot of impact. Other things: Millwall fans are quiet and chavvy. Lots of bottles thrown on the pitch. The halftime race with the kids was the most entertaining thing all afternoon. WHoever the gobby ginger guy was when we were locked outside at the end should learn to be quiet. What a tool. That is all.
Agree with a lot of what you''ve said. Apart from I thought Nelson was poor and I don''t see how he can continue to play infront of Whitbread, who looks like such a better player and doesn''t give you the ''fear factor'' that he''s soon going to mess up like Nelson does. Agree with Russell Martin, thought he was one of our best players first half. Also agree with Lappin, very poor, lost the ball nearly every time he got it. Disagree with Chris Martin as I thought he was our best player by a long shot. Even excluding his goal, his all round play was superb in my opinion. Doherty was very good at the back, then very poor when puyshed forward.
 25. I hope I never have to see Owain Tudor-Jones play a minute of football in a Norwich shirt again. I had enough of watching him stumble around appearing to not be able to see the ball down at his feet because he''s too tall. Worse than Gill, Hughes, Russell, Smith, Lappin, Spillane and Adeyemi, so why should he be back in our team?
