  1. With Thorne playing in a 4 4 2 up the ball would not take longer to come back because it was in the net. He is absolutely hopeless. By playing one up front the benefit should be having an additional body in midfield. It was bad enough that 3 rd choice player being Robinson which provided no benefit at all except for saving the opposition the trouble of passing to their own players, but now it would appear that he is the 2 nd choice behind the impressive '' I will play better next time '' Etuhu. What a dilemma. Play Dublin or Thorne up front with Eanshaw or Hughes, Mc Veigh as a third midfielder with Robinson and Etuhu. Are we really expecting to get promoted ? If so we would need at least 9 new players for a strsating 11. I am now accepting we are crap and formation and tactics are irrelevant. We do not have the players.
  2. Yes I totally agree. Grant has indicated that Robinson''s pursuit of the ultimate passing game has lead to him to not hoofing it upfield in the last minute and saving the game. My take on it is that he has never knowingly passed to a yellow shirt in any game he has played ( unless we are in away strip ) The longer the game goes on and the deeper he plays the more chance of conceding a goal as his pathetic passes to the opposition get nearer to our own penalty area. My reponse would be to drop him and play a keen young midfielder. However using Grant logic perhaps it would be better to play Robinson up front so when he makes his crap passes there is further for ther opposition to go to get to our goal ( guarded by - well lets see who the latest loan keeper is who cannot command the area, kick out within the pitch area and gives away penalities, enter Lee Camp into the fray - cannot get into top 3 at Derby so must be good ). However when Docherty was moved to midfield to let his inevitable passes to opposition be further away from goal this did not really work either ( 0.5 ). Lets just simplify things and give Robinson away ( well nobody would pay for him would they ? )
  3. Using this theory and taking it a stage further and not what I would support but maybe he has instructions to drop Saffri ( well he was instructed to keep Livermore because nobody would choose to keep him ) to force him into a request to move thus saving probably one of the highest wages and get a fee. This would then leave Robinson, Hughes, Etuhu, Mc Veigh to fight for the thre central midfield places. The thought is too much to bear. I take this back and hop you are correct
  4. Grant is wrong and so are the comments within your e mail. It is a serious business and next season it will get even more serious with no parachute payments and no money for high wages for the so called star players. I presume you are taking it seriously as your code name and comments at the bottom are not remotely humerous. It may be a brave decision to criticise the fans and not retract the critisism when time has elapsed to cool down but after such a short time in charge and also making public comments about certain players he must also now be prepared to receive critisism himself. If this is the case then a small reminder of some mistakes made so far : 1. Failure to secure a good player on loan. 2. Playing Docherty in midfield. 3. Allowing Mc Veigh to wear a Norwich shirt and play him in central midfield position. 4. Drop Dublin for Docherty after 2 magnificent performances. 5. Completely ignore youth. 6. Upset and drop Saffri to play the worst midfield 3 in history at Carrow Road. ( Robinson, Etuhu and McVeigh with current attitude ). 7. Failure to notice Robinson always passes to opposition in front of his own area. 8. Produce 3 '' no shows '' from 8 matches in charge due to player selection / tactics.  My definition of a true Norwich supporter. *  Understand the game of football and how it should be played. *  Go to all home games and as many away games as possible. *  Have own informed opinions of players, tactics and formations. * Not boo own players but not get carried away with mediocrity such as displayed on saturday. *  Not ring up Neil Adams and make stupid comments after having not been to a game and come out with predictable cliche commetns such as '' the true supporters don''t boo their own players, come on get behind the players, we have a great squad and we will go up ''. Grant was wrong and the real reason for the lack of atmosphere on saturday was nothing to do with a reaction from the local derby game but down to actual boredom because of the lack of skill on the pitch and the total lack of quality in midfield which is not providig flair, not protectijg the defence and isolating Eanshaw uo front. Tonight he has asked for a cauldron. Well do not expect one is he picks Thorne, Mc Veigh and Robinson. Bring in Saffri and a younster to partner Earnshaw if he is to revert to 4 4 2 and then we will hear the crowd roar.
