1. I think this sums up a few people on here!       Eternal faith separates those that doubt Positive thinking but not without realism that things can fail but knowledge that your belief will prevail for belief is there to show you are real your strength, your love, your hopes and steel for those that wilt, hide and are not deep can never be called strong for they are sheep following a flock for they have no plan, they may as well be a Man U fan only in it for glory and face the real man has much more grace
2. The reality is that not ONE team in the Championship is confident of doing well.  There may be pundits and fans alike that believe the three that came down will go up, but you can bet your bottom dollar that none of the managers or chairmen are. We have seen before that a poor squad with a run of results (most notably city) but a great spirit and belief can get promoted.  There is absolutely no reason why this cant happen to Norwich this year or any other team.  I think though that what we have this year different to last under Grant is players that know that if they dont perform they will be out.  In fact, all of the people involved with city this year right through to the Academy knows this.  Under the last excuse for a gaffer there was the comfort zone. Sunderland proved last year that the opening results count for nothing (Smudge!) as long as you learn from it and put in the effort.  OK so city may not win their first games, but in that statement are you saying that Preston and Southampton are really sharp, well organised outfits?  I think that we should wait and see.  If the results go against us because we were dire then yes I will be moaning, but if they go against us after giving a good account, then no, I wont. The season is a long haul, and our new lads will have to gel and Grant will need to sort out his tactical decisions, but I dont care, I am just glad that Nigel isnt still in charge and to me that is one reason to be optimistic already!
3.
One of the best midfielders ever to play for Norwich. Ruthlessly dedicated. Perfectly able to play during Ramadan, as many Muslims do,
Wake up!  One of the best midfielders?  He only looks half good because of the rubbish playing around him.  For years we have never seen a decent City side, but have watched tripe for years and so get used to it. Safri is and has always been a sick note whether its ''fatigue'' or just plain lazyness.  As for Ramadan, Worthy hardly played him during this either and why mention that?  Surely as a professional he should do whatever it takes.  Do you congratulate Hucks for playing over Christmas after a few extra beers and puds?  NO.  If a player doesnt want to be here, then get shot regardless of who they are.  As for being 5 minutes late, wasnt he picking up his agent? hmmmmm

5. So Mr Hunter was unavailable for comment.  They should have gone to the Whalebone pub.  Hunters corner is what they call that part of the bar!
6. I have to agree that the jigsaw building is going quite well.  I still await the first of the ''oh no what a waste'' post from some of the knockers on here though!
7. Call me unpoular, but in my 35 years of watching city, Roberts shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as some of the other true greats that have been listed!  If Sutton had of had as much time here as Roberts, or Channon was 5 years younger and the list could go on, they would have got double the tally that Roberts did.  Yes he done well here, but he was nowhere in the same bracket as many other strikers that have graced our team.  I would probably lump him in with Rosario, another lumper with the finesse of a breeze block!  Ashton and Earnie were not here long enough to really make their mark, although Ashton is class and will prove it again.  Macdougal will always have that status with many many weathered supporters of being up there at the all time top list, but again to name one striker would be harsh on many other players who for wrong reasons never got the chance they deserved.  Roberts did and done well, but in my eyes also squandered much more that a true great would have put away!
