He’s the one that put the video of Sir Tim Close scoring that goal up and the deviation in the away fans isn’t it he ?

to be honest I’m going to give him a bit of credit as he will put up posts and videos that a lot of people wouldn’t , like the one mentioned as I bet it hurts like hell to get beat again.

It’s not like he puts up posts only when they beat up. ( which admittedly is near pre YouTube )

His youtube video for this derby is priceless. Especially the chat with his dad at the end. Comedy gold - "there's a car coming".

  2. Either way - beating them 11 vs 11 is better than 11 vs 10 - they would have an excuse and a psychological push for the next game. With no red, they have no excuse other than we were better and they bottled it.

That is exactly where Webber went wrong ,

Webber and Zoe both said the club practices this monitoring managers around the world etc as a just in case in the past ,

Webber didn't have a Manager lined up if Farke left or needed replacing and went for Smith ,

I thought the rumour was he had Knusten lined up after Farke, but panicked and went for Smith as he had Prem experience of keeping Villa up the previous season.

Then when approaching Knutsen again after getting rid of Smith, Knutsen told him to f**k off in Norwegian....

Thanks @TIL 1010. I'm not really sure why Germany can get 3 for 2 on safe standing when we can't here, but as that clearly is the case at the moment then we need to wait till the rules are relaxed. In my mind the only reason for doing this is a much needed increase in capacity.

I expect it's partly for security and possibly just for the trial - they'll know who is sitting/standing where using the existing seating plans and ticketing arrangements. Hopefully, if it goes ahead - they can renumber the standing 'spaces' and get more people in. And if it's then permanent, there's no risk in re-doing the ticketing plans and upping season ticket numbers.

Love Hernandez’s enthusiasm, but cringing just a little at him waving his shirt about in the air like he’s just done an aguerooooo when really it was an absolute howler from the keeper… 😆 unless he’s celebrating sarcastically in which case top drawer work!

Slight shades of when he pulled a goal back at home versus Man United to make it 1-3 and tried giving the United fans stick.

But it was his first goal in well over 18 months - after an injury hit season.

  6. And if you're on the southern side, a little crawl:

    The Champion

    The Coachmakers (St Stephens)

    The Trafford

    The Kings Arms (Hall Rd)

    The Freemasons Arms

If you've an OAP in tow, I would recommend the Trafford and the Kings Arms from that lot - both busy, a good mix of ages and safe for away fans. To be honest. most real ale pubs will be safe. Avoid riverside.

Klose especially, he's a player who has been a long term servant at the club, displayed leadership qualities and his last appearances in a Norwich shirt involved him getting on the pitch before he was likely fit in order to help us during an injury crisis. It feels a bit mean spirited to shift him out.

    And also:

  8. This is the sort of weekend where you would expect Brentford to put up a plucky performance, get all the plaudits by the pundits, and win 2-1. Then the following day for us to collapse and ship 4 goals with no reply.

But f*** it. Why shouldn't it be different this time. Brentford to capitulate in front of the TV cameras and us to beat Liverpool for the first time since Goss scored in front of the Kop.
