Either way - beating them 11 vs 11 is better than 11 vs 10 - they would have an excuse and a psychological push for the next game. With no red, they have no excuse other than we were better and they bottled it.

There was a new Josh Sargent one going around the Barclay at the last home game. Did anyone catch the words to that?

THE SAINZ ARE GOOD: red card rescinded
ONEL! HOW AWFUL: Wishful thinking EADT headline... Hernandez returns in time to score the winner at Wembley play off final vs you know who...
-
I expect Sargent won't play - if that's the case, start with Van the Man and put that young lad from the youth team on the bench - give him some mins at the end at least.

Webber and Zoe both said the club practices this monitoring managers around the world etc as a just in case in the past ,
Webber didn't have a Manager lined up if Farke left or needed replacing and went for Smith ,
I thought the rumour was he had Knusten lined up after Farke, but panicked and went for Smith as he had Prem experience of keeping Villa up the previous season.
Then when approaching Knutsen again after getting rid of Smith, Knutsen told him to f**k off in Norwegian....

Definitely needs an Ipswich win irrespective of feelings
We could catch WBA but not Ipswich
Yes - but we want the scum to keep away from the top two.

The guy that posted this, JohntheCanary is a bit of a wind up merchant. I expect it's rubbish.

Seems genuine - from what we can tell from the one interview.
Interesting to notice when talking about buying the Brewers from the previous owner, he then seems to insinuate that he's buying Norwich too - not just the 10m stake. did he let that slip?
-
Just agents getting the names out - with Villa and possibly other vacancies... Lampard may be on the list but Smith and Hassenhuttl are latecomers.

I'm not really sure why Germany can get 3 for 2 on safe standing when we can't here, but as that clearly is the case at the moment then we need to wait till the rules are relaxed. In my mind the only reason for doing this is a much needed increase in capacity.
I expect it's partly for security and possibly just for the trial - they'll know who is sitting/standing where using the existing seating plans and ticketing arrangements. Hopefully, if it goes ahead - they can renumber the standing 'spaces' and get more people in. And if it's then permanent, there's no risk in re-doing the ticketing plans and upping season ticket numbers.

BTW - it's not the NHS Covid app, it's just the more general NHS app you need for the certificate.

Slight shades of when he pulled a goal back at home versus Man United to make it 1-3 and tried giving the United fans stick.
But it was his first goal in well over 18 months - after an injury hit season.

And if you're on the southern side, a little crawl:
The Champion
The Coachmakers (St Stephens)
The Trafford
The Kings Arms (Hall Rd)
The Freemasons Arms
If you've an OAP in tow, I would recommend the Trafford and the Kings Arms from that lot - both busy, a good mix of ages and safe for away fans. To be honest. most real ale pubs will be safe. Avoid riverside.

It feels a bit mean spirited to shift him out.

That's some spoof one - this is the one: https://www.artofthetitle.com/title/the-rockford-files/
But back on topic, are we still interested in Sam McCloud?

This is the sort of weekend where you would expect Brentford to put up a plucky performance, get all the plaudits by the pundits, and win 2-1. Then the following day for us to collapse and ship 4 goals with no reply.
But f*** it. Why shouldn't it be different this time. Brentford to capitulate in front of the TV cameras and us to beat Liverpool for the first time since Goss scored in front of the Kop.

On the bright side, if Ward Prowse doesn't go to Spurs, he's probably going to Villa - which should end their interest in Cantwell for good. If Villa can't get Ward Prowse though....
-
There was talk of having signed him for the first game of the season (a quote from his previous manager?)
If that is the case, when is the deadline for getting him on the team sheet for Saturday?
-
I hope he's not having to isolate - but because there's been no photos/press/standard filmed tour of the facilities yet, I expect he's having to hole up for a while.
-
Turned now - I guess he didn't want to fly over Yarmouth and scare the young lad

His youtube video for this derby is priceless. Especially the chat with his dad at the end. Comedy gold - "there's a car coming".
