Where in this familiar situation we were in last season with Worthington.   He should have been sacked on sat night. What’s the point in saying we give him until Scunthorpe or QPR, what if we beat Scunthorpe 1-0 but were lucky (like Southampton) you can’t sack him for winning. Then what his job is safe???? Or do we give him until OPR. Does he have to win against QPR for him to keep his job????   Basically I guess what I am trying to say is he has had a year, he has not performed he should have been sacked on Saturday night!!! This completely contradicts my last post, but I wasn’t expecting us to lose to Sheff Wed!!!

My whole hearted opinion (for what its worth) is……   Everyone get off PG and the Clubs back for the next 4 Games!!! And if we have not gained 7+ points and not played good football, let the protests begin for a new era in terms of management and board!!!!!   I am a Delia Smith fan, BUT it could soon be time for a change at Carrow Rd… Let’s hope not!!!   Come on you yellows!!!!!!!!  

Where did it all go wrong???    Apart from the obvious 6-0 at Fulham, how have we got ourselves in this position? Why 3 years on do we find ourselves 20th in the Championship with a S**t manger, S**t players, no money…… Other clubs get relegated and apart from a handful they are all fighting in the top end of the table. Why since we got relegated have we been S**t. I can’t work it out, I cant put a finger on it.   Did we hang on to Worthington to long? Is PG rubbish? Have the board made a mess of things? Do we expect to much from our club???   I can’t work it out.   Any ideas are more than welcome……

Another example of mindless useless chat!!!   And as for Derby who had a lucky season last season, they are fast becoming the whipping boys of the Premiership!!! Given the choice I would rather hold of for a year or two build a squad, of which PG is doing and then be prepared for a good fight for when that time comes.   CJF your living in fantasy land!!!  

Reading through all of these posts, I couldn’t really believe all the negative tripe I was reading!!! Almost every post is negative!!! If you’re not blaming the manager your blaming the players if it’s not the players it’s the bored if it’s not the bored its something else!!!   Norwich City is a fantastic football club!!!! We have a loyal supporting bored who have backed PG well this summer!!! Of course they want us in the top flight as much as we do, but at the same time the football club is a business!!! We need to be set up well finically before we strive for the premiership again!!! Don’t forget they are Norwich fans as well!!! I wouldn’t stand up in front of 26000 fans and shout down a micro-phone, however many glasses of champagne I may have had!!   I thought on Saturday we played some excellent football!!! Some of the best I have seen us play since that dreaded day at craven cottage!!! Apart from a couple of mistakes at the back and not great judgment from PG at times, we did well. They will learn from there mistakes and only get stronger!!! We have a good squad, and have been unlucky with injuries but hopefully we will bounce back.   I am guessing this post will get a lot of criticism!!! But I strongly believe that as a club we are heading in the right direction, we just need to stick together!!!   Come on you yellows!!!

First game of the season for me!!! I am a little bit nervous about what to expect, have heard so many stories about how bad we are!!! JC will probably score 3 in a 4-0 win!!!! come on you yellows!!!!!!!

Now this is not meant to be a negative post!!! But looking at the league this season I believe we have just as much chance of going down as we do going up. That doesn’t mean I think we are going to go down but it such an open league this season. I think PG has brought in some good signings this closed season but what if they all turn out to be tripe, and come Christmas were 17/18/19th in the league!! Gives me the shivers just thinking about it.   Sure it wont happen and we will be fighting at the right end come April!!!   Come on you yellows!!!!!!

    Norwich win the league Jamie Curitain will be the championships Top Scorer, Dave the striker will be instrumental and will be a full Croatian international and the envoy of all premiership clubs. Chris Martin will become a Carrow Rd favourite. Darren Huckerby will sign on for one more premiership year after becoming Championship player of the season and the Canaries player of the season. Darryl Russell, Le Judge and Luke Chadwick/Lee croft will have hold the midfield together and score 30 goals between them. Le judge becoming another crowd favourite. Adam Duary Once again proves he is the best left back outside of the Premiership. Shackall plays a key role in the heat of City’s defence, and is the youngest captain to lead a championship club into the premiership. Davenport signs and he and shack are the new Flem and Malkay combination that we have been missing so much. Jon O fills the position on the right scoring 5 goals and not missing a game all season.   Dion hangs up his boots and joins PG, Iwan Roberts and Bryan Gunn on the Coaching Staff.   Ipswich get relegated and fall into Administration!!!   Yellows

I am worried as I am not sure if he is going to be able to motavate the boys in the changing room, if were 2-0 down at half time is he going to be able to keep heads high ........ i am not sure!!!! But as the above posts says we have dion and hucks to do this.

 Doherty in Centreal Midfield!!!! you must be crazy!!! there is only one place for Doc and thats a first class ticket back to London!!! It gives me the shivers thinking about Doherty holding the midfield together. Could you imagine???

I welcome the signing of Russell back to Carrow rd, I think he can do a job for us, but please please please PG get hold of a CB, we will leak so many goals next season if we keep Doc and Shack at the heart of our defence!!!!

General Dannatt head of the British Army is a season ticket holder at Carrow Rd, apparently is a die hard fan!!! Good man!!!

Marshall will definitely have a lot to do with our defensive situation, but we need to build from the back now!! If PG can bring in 1 maybe 2 CB to the club then I would say job done!!! Defiantly feeling a lot more positive now than this time a week ago……..

I am really encouraged by the players that Peter has brought in. But surely a couple of big defenders have to be on the shopping list!!! I hate to say it but Doc is a waste of space and Shack in my book is overrated but does have potential!!! We can’t afford to leak goals. Sort out the Defence and we can be serious contenders for the playoffs next season.   Well done Peter Grant!!!

As far as Billy Sharpe is concerned, I am not disappointed to see him join the blades!!! If he wanted to be a Norwich player he would have signed on the dotted line when he came visit Conley last week. We don’t need another Damien Francis, Keith O’Neil situation. Come and play for Norwich and then p**s off when a better deal comes through 8 months later. That’s why we all love Huckerby, Dion, Roberts, Eadie, again to name a few. I guess what I am trying to say is we only want players that are going to wear there heart on there sleeve and actually want to play for Norwich.   There should be no hesitation about bring JC back to Carrow Rd he wants to be here, he will score goals!!!   Finally I am encouraged by Gilks sighing.     Happy Days!!!

If Norwich even consider selling Earnshaw to Charlton or any other championship club then this contradicts everything the board say about us being a successful club with high ambitions of returning to the Premiership. As I said in an earlier post, Earnshaw to a Premiership club for a good price could be good for Norwich, but selling him to a championship club is already accepting defeat and sends out a negative attitude across Norfolk

I strongly believe we should cash in on Earnshaw. Get the best price we can for him, and build. We would then have the option of sealing the deal with Eastwood or Shape (why not both). Then go shopping in the defence market. Get a central defender or two. Doc is no longer a serious option, and I hate to say it but Shack is overrated!!! We need to build from the back!! There’s no point searching for strikers if there not going to get any ball.   All for bringing Jamie Cureton back to the road.   City till I die!!!
