***MATCH THREAD***VS PNE***
SeattleCanary replied to Delia, When Do I Start??'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Suprise Suprise!! Marshall drops the ball again, and almost gave chaplow a goal, now Grounds (who´s shite) just let parkin have a shot which luckily for us came off the inside of the post. Shocking and we are going down i fear. Can´t even do the basics -
Stop moaning about the ref!
SeattleCanary replied to will c's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_4904385,00.html apparently we weren´t the only team to have quams on the way the match was dictated by the ref. The difference is they won their game so didn´t really kick up a fuss. But didn´t we have a possible penalty disallowed by a hand in the box although i heard Neil Adams say it would have been harsh. -
canary caller on Andy Marshall?
SeattleCanary replied to SeattleCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think we will get out of it too mate. You know Norwich always leave everything til the last minute to keep us in suspense. I listened to the game on canariesworld yesterday as i do every game, and it sounds cold there at the moment. Neil Adams said that at Molineux someone had built a snowman? And I thought it was cold here at 15 degrees! -

canary caller on Andy Marshall?
How many times does the call start with, Hello Neil, I wasnt at the game today but ........................... If you dont go to the games you don''t get a say. (MUPPETS) I thought the word fan was short for fanatic. Would someone who is fanatic about Norwich City not go to the games?
You sir are a pillock. You don´t have to go the games to have an opinion about your club. Watchin 90 mins of 22 blokes booting a ball around the pitch, doesn´t give you automatic fan star status. Some people can´t make it to games for work or geographical reasons, but it doesn´t mean they cannot have an opinion. If you are a fan of a band, but don´t go to see them in concert does that mean you are not a true fan? should you then not be able to decide whether a song is good or not? I was a season ticket holder for just over ten years but moved to spain so it is now impossible to be one, and i see few games a season but with technology today it makes it easier to watch full matches on the net after they are broadcast. So because im not there in the flesh does it mean im not entitled to post on here or call into canary call? stupid comment and its narrow-minded people like you that really nark me off about this true supporter lark, if your a fan your a fan! -
Thought it was funny, how he started moaning about our former keeper but didn´t know it But seriously what do we do with marshall thats 2 times in 2 games now he´s cocked up and cost us 2 goals, he has also made the Doc make the challenge wen he was never really gonna get the ball and now will face another suspension we can´t afford wen were too shallow in defence already. Should we try someone else in goal now, maybe Nelson although he is unknown to me or Rudd?? Has done well recently but maybe too young.

Charlton, Watford, Saints, Norwich
SeattleCanary replied to |BA's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
dreby and doncaster are gonna leap frog us today with a game in hand we need a win but its not gonna happen really with ten men I am really getting worried now we needed more points from recent games -
At least Charlton and Saints lost
SeattleCanary replied to SeattleCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
and we have the point am very pleased -
Anything we get tonight will push us away from them will take a point right now
-
And its the Doc!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
So with the addition of all these forwards, and one defender in for one going out, the problem tonight again is our good attacking work seems to be being undun by our bad defending. we wont be able to score more than we concede wen we give goals away like this!! Cureton has just missed the second sitter given to himtonight surely take him off now should have two to his name by now!
-
get in there lovely to see him score against his former club. what you think now we8?

i got this as our finish and i was as honest as possible Team Goal Diff Points 1. Birmingham 27 86 2. Wolves 26 86 ------------------------------------------ 3. Reading 39 85 4. Preston 15 83 5. QPR 13 76 6. Cardiff 25 73 ------------------------------------------ 7. Burnley 19 73 8. Ipswich 7 72 ------------------------------------------ 18. Derby -18 49 19. Watford -18 48 20. Barnsley -20 47 21. Plymouth -20 45 ------------------------------------------ 22. NORWICH -22 44 23. Southampton -32 40 24. Charlton -37 37 I think towards the end of te season charlton and southampton will really go for it i can see plymouth getting into the thick of it, but i dont think we will gain anymore than nearly half as many points as we currently have with only a third of the season to go. Hope im wrong though, tonights score will be 3-2 to wolves i can jus feel it

Missing in action wrote: Carney is a good player he has played 2nd fiddle to webber who has been brilliant and his face dont fit with blackwell hoolihan has 2 good games and suddenly the sun shines out of his arse. he was crap v donny. if you think he can only have 2 good games and then be sh!te, you obviously didn''t pay attention to how well he played for blackpool last season, and the fact that he wasn''t far out of the running for the team of the season behind Brian Howard. Add tothat the fact that there were about 6-7 champ clubs that wanted him in the summer, how we got him at that time i dont know. But when he was (as were many of our players under Roeder) played out of position, how can you not notice that since his departure and he has been given a more free role playing in the hole, his performances have improved. Hence why so many fans booed at the doncaster game wen he was taken off and canary callers mentioned as soon as he left the field we lacked the neccessary attacking prowess needed to create chances. Plus his goal against saints oozes class!
-
Who would seriously play Carney ahead of Hooly? Maybe Glen Roeder but thats about the only person i know thats bloody stupid enough. I like the other loans, but when a guy who can''t even play one league game for a fellow champ team comes in he should be no more than back up to a player thats been performing well of late. Also its shocking that Otsemobor now has no competition at RB, the guy is quick but other than that isn''t all that great and even though omozusi wasn''t fantastic either surely he was better. I think now we will see lazyness and complacency set in as who could really challenge him for his place.

evans still avaliable!
SeattleCanary replied to I am a Banana (All Grown Up)'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
thought that cardiff, sheffield united and celtic all had bids accepted. And cardiff put a loan bid in too. All currently more attractive offers than ourselves, plus he´s a welsh international so cardiff after celtic would surely be more suited as its his home country. No doubt a quality player but maybe with the current position of the club, and the decline in quality of players brought in over the last 2 seasons, maybe a more solid experienced champ standard player is required/expected. I would love him here but sadly an up-and-coming star, who would be for us at the moment probably too good and would cost us our whole budget aint gonna happen. If he was at a league 2 club we could get him cheaper and it would be a step up. But most clubs can see what he can do now after being with us on loan, and i dont think he´ll get in at man city, so if i was him i would take a move, but wouldn´t consider any tean lower than about 7th or 8th in the champ at the moment. would love to be suprised with a signing of his quality at the end of the window, but we´re norwich fans and know what to expect by now.
