Relegation is not a foregone conclusion
SeattleCanary replied to Making Plans's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Here''s a huge IF. If we beat Swansea Newcastle and Sunderland we would need to find about four or five more points from somewhere else. It''s going to be interesting -
We could do with a 6 or 7-0 win to really knock Newcastle''s confidence.
-
We need Newcastle to get hammered 6 or 7-0
-
This is going well lads!
-
Apologies, did not see this thread 5 mins ago.
-
Well there''s one! Come on!
-
Throwing 2 goal leads away we deserve to go down to be honest.
-
I don''t know how everybody else feels but I think that Jerome has offered a lot more today than Mbokani. His all round game just looks better, and he''s willing to run a lot more.
-
What a great strike! Great awareness by Brady!

Alex neil needs to be sacked!

They''ve learnt nothing. They didn''t do business for the defense in the summer when it was so crucial. Based on recent history we can''t ever trust them to make the correct decision and get things done when they are needed. They fart about too much. -
Keep your knickers on.

I''m sorry LDC but no, you can''t compare us to Leicester. Leicester play good football, and weren''t getting the results that their performances merited. I wouldn''t mind if we were losing playing the way they did last season and playing well. We are not playing well, and that''s the biggest worry. -
Yeah we''re down
-
I know! Some on here would have you believe (the same as two years ago) we''ll be fine. I''ve been saying 19th all the season and nothing has changed my mind on that. We are so poor, this could easily turn into a mid table or the unthinkable demise down the leagues again. The team needs a huge overhaul.
-
Well that''s the season done and dusted. If we can''t beat villa, we can''t beat anyone. I need to stop wasting my Saturday mornings this way.
-
We look the part for 19th place. Truly gutless and woeful. What an embarrassment our team currently are.

Four left to fight it out

West brom might have just given us a bit of a chance with Swansea. -
A draw is what we needed, or a swans loss. I''ll take that 92nd minute equalizer! Get in!

Can Neil turn this around?
SeattleCanary replied to king canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It''s a no from me. He messes too much with team selection, so there is no continuity with the relationship between players like with teams who form and understanding week in and out. He also plays players out of position, and uses full backs that attack but aren''t willing to track back and defend I.e. Pinto, Olsson, Martin, Whitts, Redmond. Howson keeps being played out of position, he perseveres with Bass when Bennett is clearly a better player without the needless penalty scare each game. Just clueless. -

Oh laughable. Don''t worry though as the happy clappers will say we are still 17th. Watch Newcastle win tomorrow now and is and Sunderland fight it out for who finishes 18th and 19th at the seasons end. Absolutely no fight. -

I stand corrected.... It''s just the bottom 4 in it now. -

Another school boy eff up, should have been 3-0. Kane messed up. We''re clearly only going one direction. B''mouth are about 3 wins from safety now. Only the teams below us, and Swansea above us left in the relegation scrap. -

It looks like we failed to truly improve quality in the area that was crying out for it the most. -
How Many think we will stay up ?

Heart says yes. Head sticks to August prediction of 19th. -
Just a good striker needed....

Andre Gray cannot play for three domestic clubs in one season. Dyche isn''t worried about losing him to the Prem or to a fellow champ club as he''d be ineligible to play until next season. That''s a no from me.
