1.
That doesn''t make them the better side does it? That tells you they had a far superior conversion rate. I agree we were not good enough. But for all but 5 minutes we controlled the play. We just couldn''t find the net and again contributed mistakes at the back.
You contradict yourself. Having a better conversion rate suggests they''re more clinical, therefore demonstrate more quality with the ball, therefore better. It was clear to see we weren''t going to score.
2. What a load of rubbish. We hadn''t done the double over anyone this season, so as much as I had hope I knew this was coming. No clean sheet? Play Norwich and change that stat lol. All too predictable. We never even looked like scoring. Win and we''d stay up, a draw would''ve taken it to the seasons end, but when you take nothing from palace and then today you''re only going one way.
3. Agree with Samwam he''s useless. Complains too much, not enough quality. Hooly is 10x the player.
4. I knew I was right..... They lost to west ham 5 games ago.... Ok 4 games unbeaten. Phew! * wipes egg from face relieved*
5. Oh for an edit button. You''re correct they actually beat United. My apologies as I grab my coat..... 7 games unbeaten. That''s really good firm for a bottom 3 side, I''m shocked.
6.
Sunderland are unbeaten in 7 Prem matches, they are the ones who are showing they will escape.Fully expect them to beat a wobbly Leicester tomorrow, then get a result at our place. City can still do it, but i cant see it myself. 18th and 33 points, ive stuck to that all season, thru good and bad runs.
Nope. They lost to United 6 games ago 2-1. Unbeaten in 5 games, but still I get your point.
7.

Jas, we have a 4 point gap and Sunderland have 2 games in hand. Whilst points on the board are better than games in hand, we no longer have our destiny in our own hands. I''d barely call that a cushion.
Sunderland play Leicester tomorrow... the gap will remain 4 points when they visit us next week.beat them and it''s done and dusted.
I hope you''re right. Although let''s say they do lose, and we beat them, they still have 15 points to play for being 7 points behind, and we''ve just shown a 3 game haul of..... You guessed it 7 points! Totally out of the blue from the clutches of certain relegation. It won''t be done and dusted next week. You''re naive if you believe that, truly.
8. I think someone was right earlier, the palace crowd got to Bamford quick. He looks every inch a champ striker though. He''s still young

Sunderland after all are the great escape artists beating Chelsea, man united and drawing with man city 2 seasons ago totally against the form books, and we beat them 2-0 at home. How did we end up? It means nothing. Leicester are due a loss and I pray that it''s not against Sunderland tomorrow.

11. Bamford oh dear oh dear. Just have a shit once the keeper is out of his goal FFS
12. That''s been coming..... The Norwich of old... Go on we''ll stand off, have a shot.
13. Not to see like I''m moaning but Naismith also not quite delivering the quality needed from him right now either. That shot should''ve been closer to goal or on target at least.
14.
It was about 5 odd years ago Seattle
The game where Holty rounded the keeper and rolled the ball in from a ridiculously tight angle?
15. Brady not having a great game today, not bad either, just not quite as effective as he can be. Howson has been immense again, and must be in pole position for POTS
16.
Completely agree, will never forgive the little shit for Reading away either
Which season? Can''t believe I don''t remember this....
17. Not saying it''s fair, but we got our third goal from what looked a dubious handball last week. We were due that luck from earlier in the season without doubt, but I''d take not getting that peno over olsson scoring when he did everyday.
18. Klose, Mbokani and Howson are the 3 we really needed to stay fit until the end of the season. Gutted. Jarvis isn''t bringing much to the team today, I''d be inclined to get Redderz on!
19. Get in!!!! Euphoric! Well played lads, deserved all 3 points.
