  1. Just keeps getting better and better
  2. It's like Wagner wants me to worship him.
  3. Clearly your (wrong) opinion re Mclean isn't shared by an overwhelming majority of the Norwich City support. Which is music to my ears
  4. As the kids would say, SLAMMED @Worthy Nigelton 😘
  5. Hey, Elliot Ward was basically Van Dijk without the classy name. Do we not remember his, at time pretty random, runs forward with the ball which he actually somehow carried pretty well?
  6. Although Idah has primarily played Left-Wing in the Prem in a dismal team creating little. In one of the few games he played down the middle at home vs Everton, he had a very good game and scored.
  7. Because the managers have their own contract, their players contract, the money involved, everything else. So to expect them to sort this is naive. The referee's have one job, and should have no additional / alternate motive. So just book them? How hard is that? You chose to be a ref. You get paid for being a ref. So be a ref. The ref has on-field control to book them for dissent but then doesn't? It's a circle and the ref's have the easiest route to stopping it but choose not to. Whether that's the PGMOL or individual refs decision I don't know
  8. Well. The referees could start by taking a bit of control. Book the player. Then book the goalkeeper for time-wasting on 60 minutes instead of 89 minutes. It goes on and on.
  9. I would have had Martin here but with that squad they've conceded the same number of league goals as us, who don't have a recognised CDM and have had a consistent CB injury crisis.
  10. If the alternative is Knapper signing SvH on a permanent then I'd have Idah back a million times over. We would have already secured playoffs had he not been loaned out in my opinion
  11. Thought the Boro Leeds game was very interesting considering Farke is our lord and saviour (to some) and Wagner is the devil incarnate (for some). Mainly because: 1) Leeds got a lead and came out second half sitting deep trying to protect it. Something Wagner has been accused of being "far too negative". I do wonder if our fans thought the same about Farke last night. 2) Leeds then relied on "individual quality" in Sommerville to win the game on the counter. This is an argument I've never understood but it's the most popular one on Twitter - that Wagner isn't a decent manager because he relies on "individual quality". I'm not sure there is a coach that doesn't and considering these same fans adore Farke (as do I), I do think people forget what they said on here and elsewhere whenever we played without Buendia...
  12. I reiterate, it's barely worth discussing merits when we know for a fact that the above happens. Or are we all naive enough to pretend it's only ever Mike Dean who's avoided doing his job in VAR? Just so happens the one ref who's ever done it is the one ref who's come out and spoke about it post career? I get Forest's frustration which is similar to Wolves where they've had a pretty long list of poor VAR decisions invariably not in their favour against bigger clubs. Again, ref makes a mistake on the field you can accept it. 5 blokes having a jolly in a room full of screens and protecting their mates by not making a decision is far less acceptable.
  13. To be fair we were fairly similar under Farke
  14. Let's just remember yet again that Mike Dean admitted to not doing his job in VAR to protect his mate on the field of play. That's just one example of someone who's admitted it. That's the level of incompetence that exists at the highest level of the game, and the solution is to respect these guys? We then have the PGMOL letting a Luton fan unnecessarily be used in a game where there's a conflict of interest - Keith Hackett said previously under him that never would have happened - why leave yourself and your colleague that open to scrutiny?
  15. Yeah agree with both of you. They're trying to be precise and scientifically accurate but using technology that is anything but. It's illogical. The drawing of lines is painful and seems inconsistent in itself. Just scrap VAR. It's the easiest answer and ensures thar some degree of football is still for those actually making the effort to go to games.
  16. Because of the poor technology used we don't know that he actually was offside, just that in the individual frame used, he may have been.
  17. Portugal - Pinto France - Louis-Jean Germany - Zimmerman Spain - Velasco Netherlands - RvW Belgium - Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe Poland - Placheta Norway - Nyland Sweden - Svensson Finland - Pukki Brazil - Sara Argentina - Buendia The likes of Louis-Jean, Vadis, and Nyland have no right to be the first players that come to my head especially when Norway should 100000% be Tettey. But for some reason it's what happens!
  18. Considering i've heard similar and it's also not something you're known for doing on this forum I think it's safe to say both you and your source are telling the truth.
  19. Ultimately the PGMOL haven't looked after their referees by allowing the Luton fan ref the opportunity to be involved in this game. I have no reason to doubt the blokes integrity but the PGMOL have allowed that to be the case. The majority of the refs are an awful standard, the PGMOL are incompetent and then you've got VAR as the cherry on top of the sh*t cake.
  20. The problem is VAR. Referee's always get stick during the game, always have one always will do. And that's irrelevant if they get the decision right in the moment. That's never been a problem and it's part of the job. But when VAR doesn't give decisions that every single man and his dog can see is blatant, there's simply no excuse. We've had Mike Dean literally come out and admit that he ignored making a VAR decision to stop his mate on the field looking stupid. That's inexcusable and these people should not be refereeing our game. When ref's get decisions wrong on the pitch we all have a boo and a sing but that's generally the end of it, we understand mistakes happen and have done for 100 years in real-time football. When you have 30 action replays and 5 minutes to come to the right decision and you still don't bother, then it's pretty inexcusable.
  21. Yeah but I mean even those fans have a limit...
  22. Ah, f*ck them. I doubt there's any specific Forest bias but they've got away with being diabolical at their job and I'm afraid VAR not giving the 3rd pen appeal is unexplainable.
  23. Agreed and the whole point of it is to not give the attacker a huge unfair advantage. In this case the Cov player had ZERO advantage, he'd got in behind due to lazy United defending and they get away with it. P.S Ten Hag might be the worst manager in the prem.
