1. Another Leeds fan here (don''t worry, we''re not all flocking to your boards ahead of the game, I actually live in Norwich). I was actually quite embarrassed by that article, particularly being a resident of Norwich. There was no reason to bad-mouth the city or team. I could understand to some extent if it was an article about Man U, but as far as I''m concerned our 2 teams are not rivals and have no more of a dislike towards each other than any other 2 teams.
 2. Lambert Is King If that happened then it''s completely wrong, I agree. Not that it makes it any better, but I witnessed my mates lad (Leeds fan, about 14) getting started on by an adult Norwich fan, he actually asked the kid if he wanted a fight, and this kid was completely minding his own business. This was before the game. Afterwards, me and the old man were followed from the ground by a bunch of idiots (who were Norwich fans) threatening us and trying to spit on us, until we reached the Compleat Angler, at which point they quickly scuttled away. The point is, all fans have their idiots. Leeds maybe more so, the stats are out there to prove that, but don''t tar us all with the same brush. Like I said, Leeds and Norwich have no historic rivalry to speak of, so I can''t see why there should be much trouble on Saturday, except for the few isolated incidents.
 3.
Why are Leeds fans such scum? There must be some decent ones, but tbh, i think they are a lot worse than the Ipswich fans, more chance of violence etc against Leeds than the derby....
*Puts hand up* Decent Leeds fan here (living in Norwich). I think the reason is passion...expressed in the wrong way by some fans, especially after a few drinks. Most of my family support Leeds as do a few friends and they''re some of the most decent people I know (I may be slightly biased though). The passion I feel from these guys, especially the older ones is not matched by any supporter of any other team I know. Hopefully, the game on Saturday will have a more relaxed atmosphere than the game last season at Carrow Road. That game had the added spark because you''d taken advantage of our woeful form and a lot of our fans probably took out their frustrations (at Leeds) on Norwich. As far as I''m concerned there''s never been any hate/rivalry between Leeds and Norwich, so there''s really no reason for an all-round bad atmosphere, but as with any club Leeds have their mindless idiots that might try to spoil it for the rest. Here''s hoping for a good game (and a Leeds win ;-))
 4. Yeah I remember the guy with the blonde hair, it was hard to miss. I agree mate. Easy to blow things out of proportion sometimes.
 5. Hey Smudger. I''m not fabricating my story at all, maybe I should have been clearer in the first instance. I did see him grab someone round the neck (I assumed it was you, because I was then told that the guy had hit you/your brother). I remember seeing him chase a guy down the road and giving him some verbals just past the bridge (probably level with the floating restaurant) and then later saw him grab someone round the neck (outside the fitness place on the corner). Maybe I was a bit too keen to offer some sympathy having seen this idiot attack someone and in my haste I didn''t quite make myself clear. Like I said before, I don''t actually know the guy personally and I''d have no problem being a witness. But just so you know, that is exactly what I saw.
 6. Smudger, I would have been happy to but (and maybe I should have made this clearer at the start) I didn''t actually see the punch. You were both behind me at the time and I turn around in time to see him grab you from behind, but at that point I turned back around to see where I was going. I only heard later from the guy''s mate what he''d done. Although I didn''t see the actual punch I did see some forceful contact in that it looked like he grabbed you round the neck from behind.
 7. Smudger - Unfortunately said idiot was allowed into the ground and was stood pretty much next to me. I can only assume the Old Bill told him he couldn''t go, but didn''t actually do anything to prevent him getting in. The ''young'' Leeds fan you were chatting to before it happened was either myself or my younger brother (depends on how young you mean). I remember you mentioning the copper who told you to cross the road at the bridge, even though the lights were green. Like you say, some people can handle such things a lot better than others. I was pleased to see you didn''t lower yourself to his level and retaliate.
 8.

Hey Guys, Leeds fan here from Norwich. Just thought I''d start off by saying SMUDGER - I saw what happened to you mate, unfortunately the oxygen thief who hit you was in my party (although that was the first time I''d ever met him) and I thought he was a complete knob. I have to say that most Norwich fans were fine except from a few young chavs who thought they would have a go at us in the Woolworths car park after the game. As others have said, the minority spoil it for the rest. I''m sure Norwich have their own small group of numbnuts who are only out to cause trouble.
Were you the one with the ''Norwich Whites'' banner who spent more of the game gesturing at Norwich fans than actually watching the game??
No, not at all. I didn''t have a banner and I can assure you I was watching the game.

 10. In terms of the backward pass rule, this is correct, it would therefore not make the goal offside.
 11. As a Leeds fan I couldn''t agree more. I bought the News of the World yesterday morning and couldn''t believ what he had said. We were absoutely shocking, and you''re right, we did only have ONE effort on target, and that was the goal. The only thing I took away from Carrow Road was that now I know for sure why we''re bottom of the league. Good display from most of your lads, although if you''d have been playing a better team they would have taken advantage of your wayward passes when we didn''t. Oh well, play you in a few years time
 12.

WLY = We love u (Paul McVeigh) jas :)
Surely that would be WLU?
only in text speak, which I hate! Anyway, I think his new anacronym should be WUTLY (any guesses?)
My guess is: We Used To Love You
 13.
WLY = We love u (Paul McVeigh) jas :)
Surely that would be WLU?
 14. What made me laugh was that I read that on the BBC site, and they said that they were beaten 1-0 by Norwich and already 1-0 down when he got sent off. Got it all arse about face didn''t they.
 15.

Leeds win. 0-2
but anyway it will be a tight game but I predict Norwich 2-1 Leeds, Brown(22mins),(55mins),Huckerby(64mins)
How will that work? 2-1 to Norwich, but Brown to score twice and Hucks to score once?
 16.
if it is anything like the same fixture last year, there will be a lot of Leeds fans mixed in with the Norwich fans, which also led to the stewards / police being very busy when  they scored
Remember it well. I coach an Under 13''s team and we had the privelege of a 5-a-side match before the game on the pitch and free tickets for me, the boys and their parents. Was difficult not to jump up and shout when we scored, but I did see the one fan with his shirt off who got escorted out.
 17.
Im so bloody angry its beyond belief, we want to model ourselves on Charlton and establish ourselves as a premiership outfit and now we are fighting for our lives in a relegation scrap. How did we get to this? Mike Walker must be so annoyed that a club he got to Europe in the premiership all them years ago has gone in this direction. All of his hard work down the pan. I have supported Delia and Co, but now feel its time for them to step aside and be supporters but nothing more. I am fed up with deluded people like Neil Adams saying that when we have our best 11 out on the pitch we have one of the best teams in the league, rubbish rubbish rubbish. How much do they pay him to say that. Be honest, thats all the fans want HONESTY. Im not going to anymore games this season, as its a total waist of time and money, when i could be on the golf course doing something more interesting. Are the players being drugged before games? Are they to tired becuase they take this pi** out of club rules? or is it just because they are *, bone idle and on to much money.
Now you know how I feel as a Leeds fan. 4 or 5 seasons ago we were in the Semis of the Champions league, now we''re no more than the likes of Hull, Southend or Barnsley.
 18. Come on Leeds. Should be a good match, they usually are between our two teams. Living in Norwich I must say it is a shame to see your recent slip in results, but best of luck for the rest of the season, except against Leeds. ;)
 19. Not actually a Norwich fan, I mainly use the boards for searching for new players for my Sunday side, but one thing I did notice about 7rew''s  comments is highlighted below. Firstly I think it''s pathetic to attack somebody on their spelling/grammar etc. especially when the subject is not about that. The only silver lining is that 7rew, in his attack, managed to misspell a word himself, that word being GRAMMAR. Sorry to intrude, but if your going to attack someone about their spelling/grammar, make sure yours is correct first.
Oh Cluck. He does claim about 40 years of support and to be a buisness man...... Its a shame about his tendency to use..... for any kind of punctuation..... I was under the impression that educational standards, particularly in grammer had declined. Also I thought buisness people were normally well-educated, certainly formal writing is important for any kind of buisness that has line-managers (which he has definately claimed to have). It is possible that Cluck has done so well in buisness that he can afford to have others run his buisnesses for him. In this case we may have found our much needed new blood on the board.  Financing one signing should get him a place on the board, putting him in a position to do something to help the club he loves.  A signing for us at the moment is only about 100,000 - 300,000 pounds which should be easily affordable if he is able to have someone run his buisness for him. If Cluck is not yet in this position, maybe he should cease posting so frequently on these boards so that he can earn more money and get into this situation. The other posibility is that Cluck is over stating his claims to be a buisness man. He could have the time to post so frequently because he is a self-employed handyman and hasn''t had much work recently.  A third possibility is that he is 12 and making it up, this I feel is unlikely however. On the plus side I do at least credit him with not being Ronbol Ronbol.
