1. Hate to say this Wiz but their board sounds a lot like this one at times although I agree with your sentiment.   OTBC
2. You should grow up aswell Jas, from what I have seen of both of them through business dealings they appear well adjusted heterosexual males either with girlfriends or chasing them!!  Before the PC brigade jump on my back I couldn''t give a toss about their sexuality but you pair are like a couple of primary school kids telling tales, you''re pathetic.   OTBC
3.

A different question is to ask whether the club would have been able to get a loan from the bank to purchase a player?
But the issue is now that we need to buy two good strikers, we may have to divert £2.5m to repaying the loan by December 2008 rather than having it for the squad. If we hadn''t purchase the land we would have the £2.5m available (and avoided the interest payments). C N I think  N D was saying last night at NCISA meeting that the £2.5m loan due at the end of the year will be rolled over and not be repaid in December OTBC
4. Disappointed in you D C,  that rumour is about as old as you appear to be, a crap rumour unable to be substantiated by you .   OTBC

10. I''ll tell you what you sound like Rock The Boat, remember Timothy from "Sorry" the brow beaten can''t pull away from mummy''s apron strings even though all your peers have left home. Desperately wanting to be your own man but mum keeps putting you down. Taking out all your anger on football supporters that don''t share your view, do you see Delia as representing your mother, perhaps you want us to rise up and defeat her as deep down you want to defeat your mum! The only difference being he was amusing and witty, you just come across as a complete tw*t!   OTBC
11. Having spoken to the guy who helped fund his wages recently I think the wage was £16-17000 per week not £22000 OTBC
12. Get a grip FFS, ten and a half years in a job these days is a long stretch, obviously because he has been tempted by another position/challenge must mean the club is crumbling cos no-one is ever head hunted or fancy a change in the real world do they Lol??   OTBC
13. Hello B-B, I stayed in a Mercure hotel in Stuttgart last week, big hotel chain, nothing fancy but rooms well appointed and staff friendly, all over Europe.   OTBC
14. Don''t know why he would be at Carrow Road but I believe he has either children or mother of his children in Norwich which would explain his prescence in the City. OTBC
15. Astro, Your example is not spin that''s you reporting what you have done that day, albeit in a lick arse way LOL. They don''t keep trotting out how much they''ve spent, they are responding to the stories and half truth''s flying around the message boards in the first pre season article for the press, ffs if they don''t say anything you would accuse them of ignoring the fans and thus acknowledging guilt. As has been said before.. damned if they do, damned if they don''t. OTBC
16. [quote user IndyBones Billy, I think that amongst others, you''ve completed missed how clever this is by Roeder. Ask virtually anyone with an educated knowledge of football and they''ll tell you that the squad that gets you out of the CCC is not normally going to be the squad to keep you in the Premiership. It''s a very different game at CCC level, and unless you have a club with the financial backing like QPR have, then it''s unrealistic and unfeasible to go out and buy the players needed to get you promoted, and to then buy even more to keep you there, particularly as half the players you bought to acheive promotion are not going to be good enough to play regularly in the Prem to keep you there. So, putting this into perspective, Roeder has gone out and made a few shrewd permanent signings - Bell, Clingan, Hoolahan and Dejan - a mix of experience, existing talent and promising play, but is then bolstering the remainder of squad with high quality or promising loan players- hopefully of the required standard to try to get us up, or at least the playoff zone. In the event that we do gain promotion, those players do return to their clubs and we can either look to make a permanent move for some of them if it''s felt worth it, if not, we''re then concentrating on getting in the required players to keep us up, which at this point is likely to be on permanent deals. Imagine the situation we''d have been in if some of Grant''s signings HAD been on permanent deals, would you be happy with the likes of Ian Murray, Strihavka etc clogging up the clubs wages? Remember that Marshall initially came in on loan but was then made a permanent signing, as was Huckerby, and if we''d taken the option - Crouch. Loans give you flexibility with fair potential of signing at a later point, whilst giving you the quality that would normally cost you 3-4 times more on a permanent deal than as a loan. Roeder is playing a masterstroke here if you ask me.   What he said!! [:D]
17. As a "fence sitter" I can''t see where you see the spin in the Doncaster article, he is just putting across the Clubs side of what has gone on in the closed season in response to what has been said and speculated on in the local press and various message boards. Cue the "board apologist" remarks, but stop and think for a second, what and where is the proof of spin in this article, I honestly don''t think there is unless you WANT there to be!!   OTBC
18. No need to destroy you SWIW,, yes there has been a lot of negativity but when it comes to people spitting bile it is generally the same posters time after time repeating the same thing . It just seems like a lot of posters,LOL! Here''s looking forward to Andy D''urso blowing the whistle at 3pm Saturday........." Kick it off " OTBC
19. If you go back to Roeder''s comments last season he said the team needed a complete overhaul , the  squad quality was poor and it didn''t take him long to realise that we wouldn''t get anywhere with the team he had inherited. Therefore we can see that bringing in the loanees last season made sense, albeit we scraped through at the end, does anyone think we would have managed this without the new faces in the 2nd half of the season? He has stated that to have a root and branch sort out at the club meant bringing in about a dozen new faces and removing deadwood, he also said that no club could afford to buy a dozen new players capable of improving our prospects from scratch and that he would be playing the loan market again to its fullest  to ensure we had quality and choices in all positions to breed competition and get rid of any complacency. Therefore it is understandable that he sees the complete rebuilding as a 3 year plan , getting rid of players not likely to play  a part in his squad, replacing them with signings and loanees , signing more in year 2 with a few less loanees and by year 3 having a better squad with a better blend of skill and experience mostly our players with the odd loanee. Yes, if Cullum had come aboard this could have happened sooner, we all wish this - please note Bye Bye Brains , I''m no Board apologist!- But the fact remains he hasn''t yet and what Roeder & Co. are doing makes sense with the hand he has been dealt, there is no quick fix for the shambles he inherited and he appears to be going for the long term fix rather than the " 60 minute makeover" paper over the cracks job. OTBC
20. God it can''t be that bad to drop 2 divisions in 1 season! LOL   OTBC
21. Jetstream, you can''t make yourself as big as possible  and keep your legs together you''d either: fall over or defeat the whole object of being as big as possible, also you are restricting your mobility in such a situation!!   OTBC
22. I''ll just get my cushion and jump up there with you!! [Y] OTBC
