1. As per my OP earlier in week, I was told that Gunny, Crook etc were his prefered choice and that the 2 things were in the mix, terms agreed on both counts,so I assume anytime now .  I can only  guess at this  but it was implied that both things went hand in hand
 2.
dont give a crap about the board its the team im interested in. so i take it he is on the board thanks.must be another bullshi*er then.
Tim, Tim. don''t be so hasty to slag off, damned if you clam up, damned if you name names!!
 3.
its not up to me to tell anybody anything...i have said to my mate i wouldnt mention any names and im going to stick to my word. all i can say is...i had never heard of this new owner guy, and the new manager may not have been everyones first choice. thats all im going to say but everything should be wraped up by the end of the week.
Sorry chap I told my son not to say who, so the name of the new owner he made up and he told you Ince, that was him throwing a name in the air, nothing like what I was told. I''m off on a course till Thursday night so we''ll see what happens, by the way where did the end of the week deadline come from? Again I 100% stand on the fact I had a conversation with someone who would be in the know today and have no reason to doubt his integrity
 4.

But that goes with the "glory" of breaking news.  If you are going to post what you "know" on a message board (where the people involved obviously would not want you to) then there is no way for anyone to verify your information.  How can you expect anyone to react any differently after Good News Gordon and the countless ofhter wind up merchants that have played with the emotions of fans for years?  For you to get insulted by any of what is written on a board is just silly. If you know something, and are sure if it happening, then post away and never mind the doubters, you will end up smelling like roses and people will remember.  You will become credible and not have to deal with this.  Until that happens, whining about your treatment after having posted an unverifed rumor will get you nowhere.
I''m not whining chap, just replying to comments good and bad, make of it what you will, people naming names doesn''t have a good track record of being proved right. I originally posted to say I''ve been told things are happening now - not sometime or eventually but at the moment.
Another thing NYC I didn''t post for the "glory"

 6.
can i have some more info please...i wont tell anyone [:P] u can send me a pm if u like [:)]
No doubt my son will tell you when I get home!!
 7.
I think the moral of the story here is "Let people find out through the press".  It''s obviously not worth the hassle giving people info as it only gets you ridiculed or pestered.
I think you''re right Blah, you can spout all sorts of negative shite on here with very little come back but impart some info given to you  and you are ridiculed!!  Lesson learnt!
 8. My headline was "Things they are a happening" not "here is the name of the new manager" I have told you that I have been told of 2 events happening soon - not just we are getting a new manager. If it''s alright by you I will stick to my guns (no pun intended) and not betray my customer. You start getting upset and irritable if you want but again - all I have done is give a "heads up" Ihaven''t come on here to say" look at me" and I''m not interested in gloating should it come off .
 9. Easy Snake pit, you don''t even know me so cut the insults, not once have I gloated or acted childishly. This is a message board and I have posted notice of being told of a change at the top as well as a new manager. The only child like behaviour is from you stomping your feet because I wont name names . My point all along was to give a "heads up" to what I think is exciting news. I genuinely hope it happens.
 10.
Uh huh. Cobblers. Aaaahh I get it, it must be cobblers because the only one who doesn''t lie on here is you isn''t it Renegade. What I have reported hasn''t been made up, it''s not from a friend of a friend of a friend but someone directly linked/involved in the Club, This is a message board, I don''t come on here spouting shite about new players etc, I have simply relayed what I was told earlier this afternoon. I said I wouldn''t divulge who said it or who they had named, as it would betray a confidence of a customer of mine.Lets face it if any one of you had been given decent info you would want to share it to the best of your ability, the fact I don''t want to give the source''s name away doesn''t dilute the credability of the info.  however if anyone comes up with the same names and content as I was given I will confirm it on their thread - and I don''t mean reeling off loads of names at random. LOL
Have heard on pretty good authority that not only will we have a new manager who we will be "pleasantly surprised" by, but a new owner shortly as well.  Paperwork ready and awaiting signatures in both cases.  The new owner is happy with the new manager to be.The person I spoke to says, until signed, they can''t 100% guarantee it will happen, but the intention from all parties is there... Oh happy days!!!!  No i''m not a binner, a newbie or a wind up merchant, I''ve deliberated on whether to say anything or not for the last 2 hours,It''s not Cullum but I don''t want to say just yet in case  I get myself in trouble, but my source would be "in the know". You can appreciate the feeling - Having been told something about your Club you want to shout but know it will cause loads of stick!!!

11.
Or it is someone buying just Delia''s shares, then nobody would have to be notified.
This is what I am wondering. No I am not back tracking, just trying to remember exactly how it was said to me. I stand by everything I have posted as in posted "in good faith" The only thing I am beginning to question is the detail of out right ownership, Is this person buying out Delia or the club?? In hindsight I think my source was talking about buying out Delia.
 12. Hi Tim, thanks for the vote of confidence, I''ve never logged on here under a different name and am not posting this with the help of anyone else. The post by bringbackchippy interested me as he says something along the lines of my OP and I have posted asking him what he does for a living as I wondered if he works with me. I went and told a colleague what I had learned and his post seems to be similar to mine  with a few embelishments, therefore I was wondering if chippy was a work colleague of mine LOL!!! Answers to other comments on this thread: No I haven''t been told about any consortium - one person as far as take over is concerned. No Hucks wasn''t mentioned, although I could imagine the name mentioned re manager would need someone with Championship experience alongside them
Obviously they can''t say, or it would be heads rolling if true.
No not heads rolling, more betraying a confidence with a customer
 14.

The person I spoke to says, until signed, they can''t 100% guarantee it will happen
Strange that. [:P]
LOL I''ve just re-read what I put and talk about stating the bleedin obvious!! However my emphasis was on the all parties manager and owner have stated their intent.
 15. Not what my source was saying - or rather they said "it wont be who everyone thinks" and I assumed by that they were talking about it NOT being Aidy

 17. Gunn on the rack!! Gunn takes a pop Gunn carriage awaits Gunn fires broadside at...
 18. LOL I''ve completely contradicted myself above, what I mean is I can get over it but why feel the need to do it in the 1st place?
 19. He is seriously pissing me off with the way he talks in the media about the fans lack of knowledge and why he can''t give credit to the likes of Lupoli after the game on Saturday, but............................. I still think he should stay, at the end of the day he IS more experienced than us (lol) I don''t want us screaming for a new manager every season with the crap budget we have to work with. So for now it''s an IN for me, just cut out the sarcasm( Roeder that is), doesn''t get to me personally but I can see that it will piss people off and he could do with the fans behind him.
 20. Why don''t we be the "bigger man" and vote for who we think has been the best player, don''t stoop to that level, it''s childish, wont have any effect on anything and means a players good performances go unrecognised. OTBC
 21.
If the players lay down and get stuffed 4 or 5 nil tomorrow, they done it to worthington against burnley, if they''ve had enough of Roeder then thats what they''ll do. I really hope we get buried to get him out! Lupoli has clearly had enough of him Cureton had a bit of a dig in the paper, rusty said early season if he wasn''t getting played he''d think about things, come on charlton make 2009 get off to a flyer for me!
So taking the above in to account, if the players do well tomorrow does that mean they support Roeder, I guess it does using your logic!
 22. Lita wants to keep his options open for the closed season as he will be able to accept a nice signing on fee as he will be on a free transfer He thinks (correctly probably) he will have a far greater choice in the summer than just NCFC We are likely to be bottom of the pile re a further loan as Reading wont be able to recall him if we take him, whereas a loan to another club means they can recall after 28 days. FFS read the whole story, we are in a shit state but to imply we are trying to get him cheap is a myth, if Lita wants to wait till the summer because he will get lots of offers and a shed load of money whereas if we sign him now he misses that - what would you do in his place? We are in a shambles without a doubt but at least don''t accuse the club of things beyond their control.
