  1. Brilliant article Shack and oh so true!!!  Just shown it to my wife who always moans about how often I''m trawling through this MB!!!!
  2. Think about it, they''re hardly likely to say to Duffy," p*ss off you''ve no chance of getting the job, now shove your application up your @rse" are they. If they said that he''d tell them to shove it and who would step in then for the short term, Terry  Postle the kit man?!!! No, don''t say it!!   OTBC
  3. Same old , same old. Someone speculates it''s Duffy and straight away its fact. Fair enough none of us know the facts and you need to talk about something on a message board , but PLEASE, this board is turning in to a marathon whinge fest!!!!!     OTBC
  4. Just goes to prove, 3 pages of replies to the question and numerous different opinions, yet after a  game we have lost the usual suspects are screaming for heads to roll, aahhh, hindsight, what a wonderful thing!!
  5. Another big fat NO!   I also love it when someone speculates that there must be a falling out with PG and within days it is bandied about as fact!! Its way too early to start protesting, there have been endless calls to use the younger players so lets give the team full vocal support and give them confidence. If the negative people want a fact, here''s one - if you are moaned at non stop, whilst at work, it does affect your work/productivity irrespective of how much you earn. I can''t see how you can realistically argue with that.  Still don''t see it, then try whinging at your partner or  workmate over 90 minutes and see what affect it has and what their reaction is. At the end of the day they''re only human, highly paid, yes, but still human.   OTBC
  6. I  take it with your name you sit at the other end of the pitch when this "opportunity" arose, when the ball came to his feet he had 3 Cardiff players within a foot of him when the call to "shoot" went out, had he shot,it would have travelled approx 12" and hit one of 6 Cardiff legs surrounding him, hence why he passed it on again. I m not pro Brown, just telling it as it was, as there seems to be the start of Brown baiting already and the attitude of why let the facts get in the way of a moan at Brown!!   OTBC
  7.   Heaven forbid, it may even put more money into the NCFC coffers, or the negative spinners could say its Delia and Co. taking their eye off the ball again.... still it''ll give Smudger and his gang somewhere to go during the game , whet their whistle then come out protesting loudly when the rest of us come out after the match !!!!!   OTBC
  8. Speculating as to whether Chris Martin is being a greedy b*****d, or his mind is not on the game,  is based on just that... speculation! I can''t believe some people are on his back already, somebody suggests he is holding out for more money and people immediately berate him when their is not a jot of evidence available to us that this is the case. If the cap fits, you really need to calm down and pack the noose away!!!   OTBC
  9. Do you mean Clint Easton?, if so he played for Wycombe Wanderers but now plays for Gillingham.
  10. Great post Foggo!!  We''re all entitled to our opinions but I agree 100% with your sentiment.   OTBC
  11. Dear oh dear, Charlies dad, don''t you get it?? The restaurant is an example of diversifying to bring more money in to the club, or do you think Delia is using the Ashton and Greeno millions to buy expensive fresh local produce and flowers for the restaurant!!  Get a grip!!!!!!!!
  12.  Yet another very average game i''m sure we all agree but let''s look at the team out there today: Gallacher.. Just back from injury, not much choice unless you try Joe Lewis  Dublin     .. Just recovering from a thigh strain Doherty  .. Just back from ankle injury and still having problems with his back Fleming .. Just back from injury and not match fit having hardly featured this season Croft     .. Just back from 7 weeks and not match fit, hence not played for the full 90 mins. Etuhu   .. Foot injury carried for the last few weeks and quoted as saying when he has to have injections to play through the pain barrier it can cause his foot to go numb (can''t see that being conducive to playing well/effectively!) Earnshaw .. Back from a knee injury - thank God! Thorne  ..  Started about 4 -5 games in 18 mths , and hardly a decent run in the team.  My point being that with a small squad with some VERY average players, it hardly leaves a manager much choice, we spend our days berating PTP but if we''re honest and without the benefit of hindsight, I can''t see many other permutations you could use . Those left out are no better on the whole, don''t know about the Safri omission, but you have to assume there was a good reason, PTP isn''t on a suicide mission leaving good players out for the hell of it ... although I''m sure there will be some out there that will think that!   It seems hypocritical to slag off all the players in the squad on this MB and then moan that PTP should be doing better with them - how can he if they''re sh*te? Can''t have it both ways. I for one hope we don''t start the ball rolling with  "Grant Out" , he needs time, he needs a chance with a fit squad to choose from .. yes there will always be injuries, but you have to agree it''s been crazy this season, and he needs the support of the board with some much needed cash to fund new players in January.     OTBC
  13. Rant definitely enjoyed and I agree 100%
  14. PTP does have a point, all you hear on this MB is how 24,000 of us turn up week in week out to see dross!! Here''s a thought ... if you''re a season ticket holder, don''t go for a few weeks, benefits are 3 fold: 1) You save money on next year''s ticket by letting the club re-sell the seat in your absence, 2) Someone else can get to see a match using your seat 3) A fresh injection of enthusiasm from a fresh supporter MIGHT, just might , rub off on the players!!!!   Yep, I''m just as cheesed off at the play at the moment but More cheesed off at all the whinging from the crowd. Booing the team, barracking players on the pitch.. things aren''t good but  its a new start with a new Manager. PG has only just taken over and like some messages say, he has inherited a weak squad and should be judged over the whole season, not a few poor performances. Rather than whinge and whine on Tuesday night lets all make loads of noise, sing your hearts out and try and get behind the Club. My whinge over!!!      ON THE BALL CITY
  15. Earnie''s bought a house just outside Norwich and it''s currently being worked on inside and out -  workers cars and vans all over the place. Looks like he''s really pimping it out. Hopefully this means he''s planning to stay a little longer!!!
  16. Wiz, Get a grip, you know nothing of the sort, its all speculation in the press and MB''s again. As usual the Board aren''t saying anything , why would they until they have something to announce to the fans and press ?!!   OTBC
  17. Everyone seems to be getting wound up about who constitutes a high calibre candidate then moaning about the names put forward by the press and fellow m b''ers, but lets not forget the board haven''t put any names forward to the press, it is all pure speculation.  Nothing wrong with this but lets get behind the club and wait for an announcement. The only thing Wynn -Jones has said is that it is critical to get the new appointment right- here''s hoping they do and how about a little less doom and gloom on here!!!   OTBC
  18. Couldn''t agree more, I''m not talking particularly about the Hughes incident but players getting OTT verbal abuse from fans who then whine when they get a reaction are pathetic. It is not your RIGHT to abuse a fellow human being just because you bought a ticket and he plays for your club. Fair enough if you want to spout abuse, do so, but be big enough to accept a similarly robust response without whinging to a steward or the police.
