1. Yeah, but when you get to Liverpool Street, don''t get on the Orient Express as it takes you miles out of your way!!
 2. [Barclaybred"][I have seen loads of city and ex city players in the pound lane sains..1st being mark rivers,iwan,malky..a real top bloke and out of current squad, once hoolie last year and in sept this season the doc..But aint seen holty :( Try going to a match at Carrow Road, you''ll see loads of Norwich players in 90 minutes !!
 3.
One of the only people who if he got hit by a bus tomorrow I would be pleased!
Sorry sir but with a comment like that you are a tw*t
 4.

That''s just fantasy Canarygeorge. When he was a pundit on Sky for one of our matches earlier in the season (can''t remember which one off the top of my head) they made a point of saying how was cheering the team on and up on his feet when we scored.
It was the Leeds game. He also mentioned that if he was still manager we would be pretty near the top of the league. Lol.
What he actually did was reply to a question put to him in the studio about where he thought the team would have been if he had still been in charge. His reply was that he would have hoped/thought they would have been in a similar position. Not a Gunn apologist but sick of the usual bull from people twisting the story!
 5. Smudger,Cluck, the Old First Wizard cos we''ve got a mark2 version now.............. only joking!!
 6. Nuttys point is spot on.   Tonights clean sheet was a triumph not for the centre backs (who imho remain a impending disaster) but for the coaching staff. And no not for dropping doc but because he has made the midfield both a defensive and attacking unit - something we have not seen for 2 years+ Hughes is a key man but the rest of the midfield now retain a decent shape,  close down and finally seem to be getting to grips with what is expected of them.  They are offering real protection to the back four.       Despite this protection there is still a lot to worried about. B-A and Nelson have no pace,  were turned last night and BA in particular has a habit of mis-judging the flight of a ball,  as he did against Wycombe. The bonus is the midfield - we look like we have a midfield and set ball players who will create us goals to win games.   Buy a decent set of centre backs and we then have a chance of keeping out enough goals  to get promoted... Couldn''t agree more,  congrats to Nutty and ZLF for conveying the situation  so well rather than jumping on the latest bandwagon!
 7. I know it''s all speculation in the press and I know Sullivan and Gold are unlikely to spend their hours trawling through football websites, but let''s imagine they did...   they see a post about themselves where several pages of bashing Delia and Wynn Jones takes place because "she wont sell blah blah blah..." and they will think "hello this is just like Birmingham City fans" . They have said before that one of the reasons for wanting out of Birmingham is because of the hostility with the fanbase and one of them was quoted as saying the relationship had run its course and was like a marriage gone bad. How as fans are we helping to "sell" the idea in investing in NCFC behaving like this ?
 8.
Those who''re judging Theoklitos so disdainfully are going to look pretty f*cking stupid if he turns out to be a decent Keeper - I''m not predicting that he will, but to write him off when he was fielded in a starting eleven by completely inept management is like this thread; absolutely futile.
Well said Shyster
 9. I remember working there in the early eighties when it was turned in to a "fun pub" - Ketts - any one remember the phone box in  the middle of the room ,  fights , dry ice machine, disco???  aaaahhh  those were the days!
 10. As much as these two will always be remembered favourably for their time at Norwich how on earth could anyone be serious about either of these two coming in as part of a Management team. We would have a similar situation as Gunny being in charge - great guy but not enough experience or qualifications regarding coaching.
 11.

Have a read through this thread. http://www.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1766909/ShowPost.aspx
Not interested is debating the actually player.  I''m asking if 7k a week too much for ANY div 1 player and if it could have disruptive effect on balance of the side.
Yes, but if you read the thread you''ll see countless posts from Camul who clearly says that he''s spoken with Gunn and it''s not £7k a week. It''s clearly the agent trying to drum up the best deal for his client. Is it too much? Yes. Will it upset balance? Well, no - because he''s not on £7k.
Pretty sure i said allow 20% for inflated reporting, but then you can''t have read that yourself Big question is why are we offerign anythign over 2k to anyone when money is so tight?
You guys are doing it again, nowhere official does it say £7k a week - it''s all speculation in the press and this message board -  but off we go berating the Club for this scandalous waste of money!!
 12.

We need a statement from the club telling us what the hell is going on at our beloved football club. If the reports of Brighton outbidding us for Dickinson and winning with a bid of 100k then something is wrong. Please tell us why all of our signings have been free transfers, why we are not bidding sufficiently for our targets and why there are so many trialsts at the club which will end up costing zilch to buy. Is our club is in more crises financially than it''s letting on? WE WANT ANSWERS AND QUICKLY. COME ON MAKE A STATEMENT
Sorry to disappoint - and please don''t let it stop you - but Brighton have paid around £500k for the player with around £350k as a down payment and the rest on hire purchase.
Good to have you back Cam, unfortunately what you have just said will be ignored as it was mentioned on here a few hours ago but the £100k sits better with the whingers so they can moan at us losing out for such a small fee!!
 13.
Why is Whaley only 99% here? Was there a malfunction in the transporter room?
I heard from a mate who has a mate who works at Colney that they have just got to remove the beak and give it back to Capt. Canary and he''ll then be unveiled [:D]
 14.
Go on, do it now for us please.[:D]
I''m refusing to do any more work until you give us the next instalment, go on ginge do it today [:D]
 15.
Not a sniff of a purchaser. Not a sniff of an investor. Why are we so unwanted? Why are we the poor relation? Who has the answer? OTBC
Realistically you have Southampton who have been bought for a steal  because they were  in receivership, Newcastle are attracting interest because they could go tits up with the debt and wage bill and Ashley is desaperate to sell etc etc, other than that I don''t see many Clubs attracting big wedges of investment or buyouts in the current climate. So, as unattractive as this conclusion is to the Delia haters, unless they are prepared to give the Club away it ain''t likely to happen, and let''s face it - who would give it away in their position?
 16.

Why don''t you just get a Road Atlas from the cheapo book shop on tge walk for £2.99? Is this because women have a genetic inability to read maps and need someone to tell them where to go? Major
I''ve got a road atlas, thanks but its difficult to read a map when you''re driving, can''t I spend my money on what I want??
We can CA it''s only Michael Foulger that must spend all his on players - all of it I tell ya!!!![:@][:D]
 17.

It''s been 2087 days since Wiz joined the forum so that''s a modest 5.2 posts per day on average.
Wow! cheers for that Buckethead..........I''m offically a low post count poster now![:D]
That''s okay Wiz, sure you''ll agree it sometimes pays to keep a sense of perspective on the forum.[:D] [:D]
LOL, I''m sitting at my desk in a car showroom, on father''s day, the day of the British Grand Prix with tumble weed drifting across between the cars - having just totted up how many days Wiz has been on here to come up with the same answer Buckethead !!  Are you bored too or just brilliant at mental arithmatic?[:D]
 18.
He did clearly say that he would be forsaking his his holiday this year so maybe should think before he speaks
C A you are assuming he''s on holiday cos someone on here said he is and attacking him on this basis - you are a great contributor to this MB but lately you have got stuck in the rut of whinging about everything NCFC don''t let your disappointment of relegation cloud your judgement on all things Norwich.[:D]
 19. As wealthy as he is having sold Lind 3 years ago for £100m + he has never shown any interest in football in the 9 years I worked for him and having been stung with the closure of the Used car site in Ber Street and Porsche dealership a couple of weeks ago I very much doubt it. He made his money from property initially and is an astute business man.  Apart from the top 4 clubs in the Premiership I don''t think you plough money in to the local  football club unless you are a real fan of it or can see a distinct financial advantage in the land or property -  which from a fans perspective, is not what we would want!!
 20.
Crikey!!! There''s some dumb dumb''s on here tonight!! I know players need paying wages. When i said free, i meant free transfer, so we don''t have to pay a transfer fee! Have you got it now? As we don''t have hardly any money, free transfers is the way we have to go. Gunn has already said we need quite a few players because we have such a small squad right now.
You said it!! The fact they are on a free means their old Club cannot demand a fee for them- however this is why players e.g Crofty are happy to let the contract expire as their agent can then comand a signing on fee for the player which goes solely to the player and his agent, instead of aclub receiving it!! Therefore any club wishing to sign him is in a bidding war with other clubs to attract said player - all things being equal - he who offeres the most will get him... geddit!!!
 21.
Delia ''Prudence'' Smith and her very best friends at the EDP will now start wheeling out cronies such as Rioch to assure us that Gunny has the ability and potential to ensure a rapid return to the Championship, but of course he will need time! How much time will the talented ex club ambassador and city sheriff require? Presumably enough time to drop a couple of more divisions and then carry out a major rebuilding exercise, starting with signings from the Anglian Combination. It is very encouraging that our new (well nearly) manager is recieving ringing endorsements from such powerful figures in the game, and that he has been so active and effective in bringing news faces to the club in the closed season. Obviously we can all look forward to dynamic and exciting times in Division 3!!!????
I love how an ex-professional who has a differing opinion to you is an old crony who needs wheeling out and its all spin!   To put a bit of perspective on this - anything coming from the club is spin - and any thought you have is fact. How is it derived?, you make observations, add a bit of conjecture and hey presto you have spun a fact that suits your purpose. As a regular fence sitter I don''t know whether you lot or the Board are worst!!
 22.
http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/homenews/Exclusive-Middle-Eastern-consortium-takeover-Notts-County/article-1046393-detail/article.html   http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/feedarticle/8541565
The group, which is owned by several businessmen based in the Middle East, wants complete control of the Magpies – and has ambitious plans to restore the fortunes of the world''s oldest football league club. Hope they don''t think they have  bought  Newcastle,LOL!
 23. We cannot assume that MF would put a £1m into the playing budget next season - we might hope he would but that''s different. There has been numerous posters saying they don''t want their rebate squandered on "off field activities" all he is saying is they guarantee to put any rebate into the playing budget and he will match that amount. A positive move at least. The cold facts are that the Board  are still having to pay out each year to fund the deficit we find ourselves with - however we found ourselves in this mess it''s happened and has to be dealt with. At least we are potentially going to have up to £2m to spend on players budget this way. To say if he can afford a million he should pay out anyway doesn''t mean the same as he is pledging up to a million himself to the PLAYING BUDGET  - he could easily shout that he has put a million in to the club again next year but it gets lost in to the "black hole " at the club covering the annual deficit. I will be considering the offer - I fully support those that don''t subscribe to it - but FFS it is a positive start - take it as such!!
 24. So what are you saying - should everyone fiddle their taxes or do you act responsibly? It''s still only football at the end of the day as much as we love it. The Board have screwed up on numerous things but to moan that we''ve acted responsibly regarding taxation is frankly ludicrous.
