Christ thats a bad team. One of the strikers probably one of the worst I have ever seen, the right back was useless and our best centre back at the time wassnt even playing in his primary position. Amazing what a transformation we have seen from those dark years

No chance of getting him, although im seriously thinking Newcastle could struggle. They really were onto something last season. They have now managed to sell three of their best players, one amazingly to a championship club and although they got a large fee for Andy Carroll that large fee is now paying for Mike Ashleys booze! I think they could be scrapping for survival this season which surely cant be a bad thing for us

just bought a few stubs off ebay and there already registered. However im not sure if they are registered for the upcoming season or last season. They have AO written on them so does this mean they have been registered for this season or last season as im not sure?

As others say you cant fault his work rate for 1 minute but other than that I thought he was useless. No end produce, couldnt cross always got caught out with the ball if he tried cutting in and I know he scored a few good goals against scum and sheff utd but his shooting was dire and he only scored 9 goals in those 3 years for us which for a winger is pretty poor. Dont really understand why everyone loved the guy so much, when there was apparently all this interest in him we really should have cashed in on him instead of keeping him till his contract ran out.I dont feel sorry for him at all, im sure he will find himself another club and anyway hes earned himself a shit load of money already and he was straight out of here when we went down. On twitter hes been running on about his trip to Las Vegas this summer so he cant be living that bad a life!

Jsut been looking through the dates for european games and the games the following weekend from them usually get moved to a sunday I believe. We play Man u the weekend after one of the group games and 1 of the group of 32 games so expect them to both be moved to a sunday. But apart from that doesnt look like any will be moved because of that. Have to say hope one of the first three games could get moved to a monday night as wont be able to go to any of the games in august if they are weekend ones

Im pretty happy with those, as people say we got lumbered with a load of hard games where as this time, apart from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manure away there all games you would think we could possibly get something out of and in a way it good to get those out of the away early if were honest. The last two months could be murder but hopefully we can be safe by then.

The simple fact of the matter is there isnt one really. The closest teams are the London ones and they cant honestly be classed as derby games. I think Ipswich is our only proper derby game. i guess we had a bit of a rivalry with Colchester in league one but that was only really due to Robbie Cowling stirring things up

I''ve seen some people critisise the guy so just answer yourself this question, what would you honestly do if you were put in his position. Would you stay here, take the money that will probably sort you out financially for life or get what would probably not even be half of that at Aberdeen.I know most people would probably say that they would rather play regular football at Aberdeen and beonl ess money but I think in reality most people would stick about here and take the money, its human hature and I know I certainly would.

He has been a bit unlucky to lose his place I have to say. But as others say he will probably be back up in the right back position by the looks of things. However I seriously think we need someone else at right back. While Russell Martin is obviously first choice if he gets injured I really dont like the idea of Korey Smith being out back up especially if Martin is out for a while and obviously in the prem we cant get loans in like we could in the championship. As I said get someone else in and stick Smith out on loan to a championship club. I would much rather he went out on loan where he will be playing and if we really need him he can be recalled

What do people think are the future of these three strikers. As things stand we currently along with the three mentioned in the title we have Holt, Jackson, Vaughan and Morrison. So thats seven strikers so surely OJ, Cody and Martin could be up for grabs. Cody will surely be off as he is not going to get a game and with his contract up we might aswell cash in on him. Considering we only signed him for £20k we most probably will make a profit on him. I also think we should get rid of Johnson, while he was ok in league 1 i really dont think he is even championship standard. While I dont think we should sell Martin I think it would be worth loaning him out to a championship club for a bit as doubt he will get many games here but I still think he could come good for us at some point and wouldnt want to get rid of him

Have to say I really hope we give him a chance next season, honestly think he deserves a chance after his end of season form. He has shown that if he wants he can be a deadly finisher and think he could knock in a few goals in the prem, but I think its inevitable that Vaughan will be starting alongside Holt and with Morrison coming in its hard to see him getting a look in

Yeh i thought he would be a good signing but could probably do a lot better than us. I still think we should get Matt Gilks back. I swear he is out of contract and doubt his wages would be too much

i always seem to remember him scoring when playing for Everton but also always remember him getting injured loades. If we can keep him fit would be a pretty good signing in my opinion

Earnshaw is good in the championship but as we have already seen piss poor in the prem. Wolves have a pretty poor striker force and he hassnt broken into that for two years so  doesnt say alot for him. And as people say about OTJ, while I havvnt seen him play much (in the games he did play he was piss poor), no one has snapped him up including the loan clubs while swansea fans diddnt seem to think much of him either

Im not sure about Campbell. Had a good season this years but before then never really even been a proven championship player, but i suppose £750,000 wouldnt be too much to pay for him. Ba would be good but his wages could be a bit and can see him doing a lot better than us.

It is fair to say the situation with England goalkeepers looks very grim indeed. Foster and Robinson have retired, Green is from what ive heard doing the same, and Green and Foster are as it stands now championship goalkeepers. So really the only two other English premier league keepers are Carson and Steve Harper. I would say Harper is too old now too be considered so really your only down to Carson. So he probably has got a chance of getting into the squad if things stay how they are as surely Capello is better off going for a premier league keeper who is playing than a reserve prem keeper or championship keeper. I think lambert seems to really rate Ruddy so think he will defo start as number one. Im still not too convinced and think we seriously need another keeper to at least give him some competition.I seriously think we should get Matt Gilks back. Out of contract I believe and cant see his wage demands being massive although would he be willing to come back after the way Rodent treated him last time?

Was turning out to be a really good player before manure signed him. I think some prem club will sign him, but cant see him being offered anything other than a pay as you play deal like Michael Owen has at the moment. The doctor who operated on him said he has never seen a pair of knees in such bad condition as his so would be very risky. A

Looking on the beeb website and stumbled upon to the fact that Tudor Jones has been called up to the Wales squad. Shows what a crap load of players they have that they are calling up someone who has only played about 20 games or so in the last couple of years (and hardly any of those have been for us)

I will go for Man u away. They always get one of the promoted teams at old trafford first game

Glad that we have finally gotten rid of Xara. Swear with them the kits looks so similar every year so will be nice to have something different
