1.
Some good photos here from the Exeter game - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8450484.stm
Thanks v much for letting us know NBS. Excellent. Great photographer.
2. http://www.pinkun.com/cs_pinkun/cs/forums/1865952/ShowPost.aspx That''s the link to the previous thread.  Think it explains a bit more.
3. There was a thread about this last week and someone came up with the solution.  Press the Compatibility button on the address bar which looks like a torn piece of paper. Sorted it out for me.  You just have to do it each time you go to the messageboard.
4. Thanks v much Butler for the reply.  But I''m presuming you can''t just type in ''bump'' and the thread moves up automatically.  What do you have to do?
5. Thank you to I am a Banana for asking this question.  I have been having the same problem.  Now sorted thanks to the replies. And while I am here please could someone tell me what ''bump'' means.  See it on the messageboard from time to time - and have no idea what it means.
6. Two excellent posts in a day JAT. Be careful or we''ll be clamouring for a regular contribution from you to entertain us. The thread turned rather surreal in the middle to say the least.
7. Really enjoyed reading that. Thanks JAT. I really like reading supporters'' stories re how they got to support the team they love and how they go about supporting them. Adrian Chiles wrote an excellent book a couple of seasons ago about a season in the life of a collection of WBA fans. Excellent read too.
8. Completely agree with Dronny Canary when he/she says that this is exactly the sort of stuff that makes it worthwhile visiting this board daily, in the hope of discovering something interesting and enlightening about our club. Thank you Purple Canary for this - well written, seemingly objective and loads of work put in to make it clearer to people like me who found the whole saga somewhat confusing.
9.
Whoever it was they deserve a new song:"I sacked the sheriff (but I did not boot the deputy)"...anyone?
Fozzie - fantastic!!!
10. Hooray. Finally in via City site. Hi LQ. Thanks for suggestion. Tried Radio Norfolk but the agreement seems to apply to League Cup games too as just received usual prerecorded message. OTBC.
11. Should have said Thanks V Much to Scrimmage.
12. Thanks v much. Just tried it but unfortunately same response. Connected to the site earlier this evening but now can''t connect to it at all. Connection to every other site totally fine. I''ll just have to keep trying.
13. Thanks for the quick response. Still no luck here in Spain. Never had this prob before. I''ll keep trying.
14. I cannot connect to the official City site so that I can listen to the match as usual. Anyone else having this problem?
15. I love this post.  Excellent summing up! I read the Pink Un messageboard most days and frequently think I should stop as it seems to me so full of negativity.  Understandable I suppose given the season we are having.  So brilliant to get an injection of real humour - especially this week when everything seems to hang in the balance. From one exiled City Supporter to another - thank you YankeeCanary for making me laugh.  Have drawn it to the attention of other City Supporters that I know.  Have you thought about writing a blog for the Pink Un?  If you''ve got the time, you should!
16.
Sorry Bly but Jamie is never going to be good enough to get us into the Premiership. He wasn''t good enough the first time round, thats why we sold him. History has shown that that was a correct decision. This time round he is in a lower Championship team and thats his maximum mark at best. As regards comparing him with Dion and Ched, well he was never in Dions class and it looks odds on that Ched will also be in a different class. Jamies only claim to fame is that he once dyed his hair green in a local derby and he scored a lot of goals at the third level of English football. No amount of selective statistics will ever change those facts.
As far as I remember another claim to fame for Jamie was scoring the most goals last season in the Championship.  And isn''t that exactly what we want him to do again if we are to gain promotion to the Premiership? Jamie has been really overcriticised by fans and managers alike.  Surely a striker''s job is to try to score as many as he can.  And as a result of that many chances are going to be missed.  Rooney doesn''t score from every chance that comes his way.  No, Jamie hasn''t had his best season ever - but neither have Norwich.  Has he been provided with as many goal scoring opportunities as he had last season at Colchester?  I doubt.  It''s the whole team that have struggled this season - and I for one, hate it when one player is singled out for critcism when so many are responsible.  It is very easy to single out strikers for critcism.  Their mistakes are so obvious. I would say Jamie is the type of player who does not respond well to the public criticism from his manager.  But both Grant and more recently Roeder, appear have used criticism of Jamie as some kind of ''motivational technique''.  For me Roeder can do very little wrong, given the way he has manufactured what looks as if it is going to be Championship survival, when we were staring relegation in the face at the time that he took over.  But I would prefer him not to criticise individual players in public.  Praise yes - but I would like criticism of individuals to be saved for the dressing room and training ground.        I
17. I read this article by Mick Dennis too, thought it was excellent and would really recommend it to others to read.  Very realistic about the serious challenge we have ahead of us in order to survive in this division.  And as you said it is scarey to think about it because it would seem there is no miracle cure for the position we find ourselves in.  He has certainly got a way of stating the bald facts.  I also liked his positive assessment of Roeder''s skills.
18. I still can''t get it - any tricks I should know about to access it?  My usual login procedure is just resulting in an error message
19. Thanks Pete.  I''ll keep looking just in case she decides to blog again.  Hope so.  She has a quirky way of looking at things that is very entertaining.
20. Am I the only one who rates LQ''s blogs and is wondering when she is going to post her next one?  They are very well written, funny and interesting - and I was hoping that the new season would spur her into action.  Great to hear from ''another girl''!!!  Go for it LQ!
