1. You are wide of the mark and really don''t know all the facts so are not in a position to make these assumption about the club. Why not get behind the players and club [:@]
2. Well he has not signed yet!! all Ipwich have done today is sign a defender whos 32 and a free agent. The football writing have been wrong before!!!
3. Who? The damn board thats who!. The trouble is there''s a few of us on here who can remember the following: 1. Competing with the best teams in the Premiership weekly, beating Arsenal, Chelsea and United and all the other ''big'' clubs. 2. Finishing 3rd in the Premier. 3. European Games and beating Bayen Munich in their own back yard. 4. FA Cup runs and League Cup victories. Then this shower of a board takes over! 1.Tried to do the Premier on the cheap and got us relegated in our first season back there. 2. Now starring relegation in the face to the third tier of English football!. 3. No cup runs. 4. Large debts, despite their bloody ''Prudence with Ambition'' rubbish. 5. Appalling long support for failng managers. 6. Loan signings and not our own players are the norm now, and still failing to back a manager again in January. And you wonder why I get angry, frustrated and fed up with a bunch of directors who are, in my opinion, destroying our club from within with their incompetence and inability to attract proper sound financial backing. Or a majority shareholder who insists that any backer must be local, and liked by her, so it appears that foreigners can go to hell in basic terms!. If you''re content and happy with that, then in my eyes, you''re just as guilty they are!. Taken from my post on Carrowroad.net. 1st Wizard, stop living in the past, the whole of football has changed with money causing this change. You just need to add a bit of reality and context to your posts, and then they may have some value.
4. The police in Norfolk won''t allow the fixture to be at 3pm or evening kick off this is the reply I got from the Norfolk police last year: You raise a number a valid points that I will do my best to explain.   Firstly you are quite correct that the resources required to police the game would be the same for a Saturday or a Sunday. However what is very different on these days are our other policing commitments. In order to police this years game (on a Sunday), we have had to cancelled all police leave and will draw in officers from all over the county. This would mean that if the game was held on a Saturday we would not have enough officers left to service the regular requirements of the weekend night time economy.   In addition the area around the ground including the railway station is much quieter on a Sunday; this allows us to ensure that rival sets of fans can be managed effectively in a safe environment.   In addition to the Norfolk Constabulary’s resources we must also consider those of the British Transport Police (BTP). Norwich falls into the BTP Eastern Region; this also includes all of Essex and East London. By having the game kick of at a time when no other games are being played this allows us to utilise their officers to police the trains and stations. On a Saturday their resources are very stretched across the network and would not be available to us.   As for the timing of the kick off, I am sure you will not be surprised to hear that this is to reduce the opportunity for the consumption of alcohol. I realise that with the change in licensing laws pubs are now able to open much earlier on a Sunday but we still feel that an earlier kick off time reduces the chances of alcohol fuelled disorder.   I would like to stress that we do not want to spoil the enjoyment of the day for fans. Last season we worked closely with the club and did not object to them selling alcohol at the ground as had been the case in previous years.   Hopefully this will clarify that matter for you.     Roger Wiltshire   Chief Inspector Operations - Urban  Central Area Norfolk Constabulary Bethel Street Police Station Bethel Street Norwich NR2 1NN Tel:  01603 27(6571) mob 07776165559 P It takes 24 trees to produce 1 ton of office paper!             Think… is it really necessary to print this email? So as we can see they are very inflexible and or they don''t have the ability to POlice games on a Saturday.
5.
Don''t agree eh? then show me the evidence to support you. With only 5 days left of the transfer window, four, if you count the Southampton game, our squad is now much smaller than it was on Jan 1st, players have been sold and weak promises (as always) have been made....................but still ziltch!. I see zero evidence of the Turners use, Delia''s gone into hiding (again!) and there''s no sign or hint of real team building anywhere. And God help us if we get two major/key injuries or suspensions!. WE ARE ALL BUT BROKE. Prove it otherwise!.[:|]
1st Wizard, Why are you such a pessamist, you don''t know what monies NCFC has and plainly you are out of your depth and make claims which are completly unfounded. If you can''t make comments which have some basis of truth, then don''t bother making them
6. James, Why don''t you move to a nes seat for nextr season. NCFC have a "movers and shackers week" after the final deadline to renew your season ticket. You can move to somewhere where you won''t hear the commednts you don''t like about the players. OTBC
7. I agree, Robson is always moaning that all refs are against Sheiffield United and their opposition all get treated favouably by refs at the detriment of Shefield United. The player was offside on Saturday and the linesman put his flag up immediately the player just miss timed their run. Robson and his players just need to concentrate on playing Football and not harassing the refs and linesmen. OTBC
8.
With sell out crowds and the desire to recruit a better calibre of player shouldn''t the Club present their supporters with a real price hike? How much more would you be prepared to pay? I would rather pay 20% more if it was invested in the team and meant putting out a good side - not a freeze and more mediocrity. Take a gamble Board and make the fans put their money where their mouths are.
Rudolph, I agree, people are always moaning that we don''t invest enough in players, but are not will to pay a bit more to help to make more funds avalable to buy these players. People can''t have to both ways!!!!!
9. But Covertry are about to go into recievership so they may have to sell their ground to pay their creditors.
10. I hope your right, but a source for where this information has come from would be good and give your claim a little more validity. Come on tells us the reliable source of this information
11. Bly, Life moves on, you can''t keep looking at the past. Of the teams in the table then 4 are in a divsion below Norwich and 7 are in the same division to Norwich, and QPR are two places below us. So we are not the only team who is finding to tough to stay in the Premiership Live for today, and support NCFC OTBC
12. Dicky, I agree we need to get behind the players. The Wolves game was a nightmare but this is one game and we need to give both the players and Grant a chance Canary
13. Dicky, I agree we need to get behind the players. The Wolves game was a nightmare but this is one game and we need to give both the playes and Grant a chance Canary
14. The FA rearly overturn Ref red card decisions, because it might be seen that they would be undermining the ref. Danny Mills should have got a red card earlier in the game when he elbowed Hucks. We were unluckly[:(]
15. The offical site will give you the facts as they are at that time and not a series of unsubstanciated rumours, like "my friends brother''s cousin works with Peter Grants'' uncle''s son and he says that he saw Micheal Owen outside Jarolds and he must be about to sign for City" which we often see on this part of this site If you want the offical facts about NCFC then go to the official site.
16. Delia is going to be back on the TV with a new series on BBC2 later this year. How will this effect her involvment at NCFC?
17. Ruberthebear, I agree, why do these guys want to protest all the time, we need to support the players and coaching staff. Although we will finish in the botom half of the table we need top support the club and build  to go back to the premiership in three plus years. Support the club, and stop moaning!!
18. Ryan, Thanks for your clear translation, I agree with all the things which No1 donny fan as trying to say.
19. Fozzy may be arrogant, but Peter Grant will keep he feet on the ground, much better the Worthington could do with Francis. Lets hope his arrogants bring more scope and range to our midfield.
20. Yes it would be good to sign him for NCFC, but I don''t think we get him until the summer transfer window ar the earliest. His present club will want to keep him for their push for the playoffs.
21. ob1, Great initial post, with great subtle sarcastism, remarks which are too high for lots of people (sadly you had to do a second post to explain) who continue to moan and think by sacking Grant and getting the board to resign will solve all our problems and we will get promoted back to the permiership. People stop moaning and support NCFC   [:D]
22. Tom, Good post, adding some finanial reality to the situation with Norwich City FC and the funds which Delia and the board can make avaliable to buy players. Good to have someone not just moaning because we''re not (can''t) sign players who are household names.
23. Big Ron Brians, I think that you as a member should be entiltled to a ticket to the Southend game and the QPR game.  If you can''t get a QPR ticket when they go on general sale next week, I may have a spare ticket I can sell you at face value.
24. Yes an then you woke up. If you are going to post these rumours, please justify them with what relaible source they came from and preferably not when you were dreaming!!
25. I agree, there is no reason for this behaviour, report these people who do this and let the rest of us get on with watching the football. OTBC, here to a win against the Scum on Sunday.
