"Captain Holt''s Derby Day Hat-Trick"]Mel Henderson has written numerous books on the scum: http://t.co/HCHAw33 #ncfc That''s the end of that then." The fact the writer has written books on Ipswich makes this a very naughty piece. Even a potential day out for the lawyers.... -

I''m almost positive the deal would be something along the lines of 1 mill up front and an extra 2 if we make it to the prem. I surprised old Fry didn''t go for a gamble like that -
Referee for next Tuesday
Canaries Canary replied to Whats a right winger's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I went to that game with my Brother-in-law who is a Tranmere fan and sat in the Tranmere end. To be fair everyone round me was astonished at the ref''s poor decisions as I was. They even let me go mental at the ref when he sent off Lambert. After I sat down, red in the face expecting to get a barrage of insults they all just agreed what an awful ref he was! -
How is he a Sunderland reject? It said he rejected a contract from Sunderland and signed one with Ipswich instead [:S]
Christ you''re right. He''s fantastic!!!! How could I have been so stupid! -

Always a handful and always seemed to score when i had a few quid on him.
Although born in Nigeria he grew up in England and came through the Man City system so didn''t really come with the cultural and footballing differences.
Whoops. Meant Ekoku. Although I bet you won''t let me have that one either!

Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton said: "We''re delighted to be travelling to Norwich for the second of our pre-season matches."Like us, Norwich have enjoyed a tremendous season and we''ll both be looking forward to the new campaign with much relish and anticipation. I''m sure it''ll be a good game of football and a terrific pre-season work out for both sets of players."Welcome back Fraser?

Seeing as things are now wrapped up who would you like to see given a chance in the last 2 matches?I''d like to see Askou and Whitbread start if they both get fit in time.

Is it time to feel bad for Leeds?
Canaries Canary replied to HoolaGirl's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Credit to Hoolagirl for raising this. It''s no surprise that it takes a female to suggest taking the high road! I find the whole ''let the c***s rot, dirty scum...'' attitude of some fellow Norwich fans makes me quite uncomfortable. We''ve got them beat in this league, everyone knows now we''re the best side in this league (even the few left of their own fans who thought they were the best won''t do after last night). It''s a bit like a fight where they''re bloodied and bruised and have held their hands up yet some of us still want to carry on smashing their faces in. We should be satisfied and happy in the knowledge that we have proven ourselves the best team over the course of the season. It was the same when we got to this stage in our Champ winning season - up until about Jan some still didn''t recognise we had been the best team, but everyone knew the game was up by the time we got Feb March and were still churning out the results. Yes there''s more to do, but for me, this is in the bag and it''s all i need to just sit back and enjoy the ride through from here. No need for all this hatred.
Great quote. Totally agree.
