  1. I would say this has been a well managed season. Injuries put paid to any auto challenge. But the way those injuries have been managed has brought about a play off challenge. I’ve praised the fitness of this squad for months but we should also praise the fitness team who have consistently got players back from injury early. Helped by the much derided ‘swimming pool’. And Wagner who has clearly stuck to the fitness plans which have given us every chance of some success at the end of this 46 game slog.

It's taken me ages to try and get this right!

I think I've got it right - if not I'm sure Eddie can correct it!!

I can remember getting an invite from Eddie and Ray to attend a 'get together' for those involved with the 'Free Bet', that Ray had negotiated with a certain bookmaker. Sure enough I went along, and it's one of those points in your life when you realise you are blessed to meet such lovely people. Meeting Ray, Eddie and Mick (Lapps), was certainly a highlight. The 'cozying up to' Mick, The saga involving the wheelbarrow, and the pick of a draw for Harleston Cherry Tree - which incidentally finished 4-4, are all printed on my brain! And I'm very thankful for those brilliant times.

Just saying thanks Eddie, doesn't really seem enough. You have dedicated so much time to keep this wonderful thing going, what has been achieved is nothing short of amazing, and, in the process we have made some friends for life, supporting our team.

So it's with a sense of honour, I get the chance to make my final pick

So here goes, and thanks to all you PUPs for your contributions

Strathspey Thistle v Fraserburgh - Away Win   My pick

Liverpool v Palarse - Home Win

Man City v Luton - Home Win

Celtic v St Mirren - Home Win

Real Sociedad v Almeria - Home Win

Wrexham v Forest Green Rovers - Home Win

    City Bet BTTS

    Good Luck to all PUPs

Happy memories Wazzy and thanks everyone for your kind words. But it's been a collective effort from us all and we've managed to keep the spirit of this community that Arrdee started all those years ago. I feel a bit guilty for stopping but also happy that we can end this in a really good place. And of course the love, friendships and memories don't end. They stay forever.

Thanks for these @First Wazzock I love them. I can smell a win incoming...

Couldn't find odds for Fraserburgh on Bet 365 so went with the Barcelona option. I've placed them with Bet 365 where the potential return is £61.99 (Including £6.78 boost) I think the boost is because all the games are **EP** which is handy because if our team goes two goals ahead at any stage they will be classed as having won. Here are the details...

    Wrexham **EP**

    2/5

    15:00 Sat

    Man City **EP**

    1/10

    15:00 Sat

    Celtic **EP**

    1/5

    15:00 Sat

    Barcelona **EP**

    5/6

    20:00 Sat

    Liverpool **EP**

    2/9

    14:00 Sun

    Real Sociedad **EP**

    1/3

    20:00 Sun

Good luck Steve and all you PUPs 🤞🍀💪

@nutty nigel has Glad a view on corporate governance at the club? Just for me and Purps, has Glad heard how things are sorted out in the boardroom? 😉

Lovely sunny morning in Bowthorpe so I though I'd have a coffee out in the backyard. Glad was there pegging out her smalls. I say 'smalls' but in truth they were gret ol' white bloomers! I thought thank goodness the sun is a bit higher now spring has sprung. But I thought too soon and up went the linen prop causing a blackout over half the street. Kathy could have come round for a coffee rather than go all the way to America to see an eclipse. Glad spotted me "hev yew heard anymore from that Steff?" "It's Sheff" I said "and I think he's a bloke." It's useless really because although she wears her hearing aid she won't put the batteries in for fear of frying her brain...

Anyway, I had to shout but managed to tell her about your governance issues. She put her full wisdom face on and said " Tell har what a lood of ol' squit!" "With Daylia and that Zooey woman calling the shots the governance will be the best in football" Then she said "blookes think thay knowetorl but would yew want that Sooonak over Thatcha?" "Who woont hev the queen back over Charles?" "His old woman has already had to step in and he's oonly bin on.the throone about five minuts!" Harsh I thought...

Then she came right over to the fence and with morning breath whispered "Afterorl, it weren't Mister Beeton's book of Househoold Management....

I'm going a little bit early with this, but I had a spare half-hour so thought I'd crack on. Given our injury issues and Preston's generally strong defence, I don't see too many goals in this one; especially if Sarge isn't available. A little surprising that we're shorter odds than Preston to win, so I've tried to factor that in too.

    £1 0-0
£1 Sara to score from outside the area
£1 Sainz to score from outside the area
£1 Nunez to score from outside the area

50p Norwich to win 2-1 and SVH to score the last goal

Just to add, 'histrionic over reactions' to things like chucking away a two goal lead to a team in the relegation zone are a natural part of being a fan.

I've got no time for this 'oh look at me, I'm so above it all' rubbish.

    This is true.

But it works the other way too?

So we get the same over reactions the other way when we win?

Welcome to Rays Funds, supported by Turner European Consulting and Cavell Healthcare

We have PUPs legend @First Wazzock picking the final six this weekend. Wazzy’s having another superb season this time and leads our profitability league with 30/36 83% winning picks at a profit of +9.50. He is a former PUP league winner . and also won 3xPOTM this season in August, December and March. Added to that six previous final six wins he’s a real PUPs legend but for me Wazzy being dear old Lapps ‘wheelbarrow partner in crime’ is the icing on the cake  Let’s help Wazzy to win number 7 with our very best selections from the games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of this weekend that are listed on the Bet 365 web site.

We have another top PUP making the final selections for our game at Preston on Saturday with @Feedthewolf in the hot seat. Wolfie’s having another brilliant season with 27/36 75% winning picks and is right in contention for the profitability league on +6.61.Wolfie was October’s POTM and has a hat-trick of final six wins on Arrdee’s honours board. FTW was up first for the Norwich picks in August when he won £73.50 so let’s help him add more to the pot with some great options for Saturday from those listed on Bet 365 or Bill Hill.

🙏🙏Thanks so much all you PUPs for the wonderful support you’ve given Rays Funds over the past 17 years. I’ve decided to stand down after this season. I’m fine by the way, and I will miss it for sure. But for many reasons it’s become clear to me this is the time to call it a day. However we still have four weeks of this season and Kathy’s famous Euro sweepstake plus hopefully a couple of play-off games we can get involved with. And of course those early season pledges to settle.🙏🙏

Good luck all you PUPs. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downs Syndrome and pan-disability boys and girls.

Take it away Steve and Matt the thread is yours…🙂...

On behalf of us all a massive thank-you to our wonderful sponsors Turner European Consulting and Cavell Healthcare also our benefactor PUPanon2. For more information on our sponsors take a look at their websites below :-

We do indeed and I’m paying up £30 regardless of where we finish…….i can’t remember but do we have a season pledge thread too? I can’t remember what I pledged now at the start of this season! 😂😂😂

It won’t come to £30 for either of us.
I’ll have to find the season one when I get home. I know I’ve got a quid for every 5/6 and I think £2 for every PUP canary challenge that finishes above PUPnutty.
