1. The rubbish goal keeper that got us relegated. If that is true, that''s pathetic for so many reasons. The coldest of blue those two, time for a purge, get rid.
2. If this does happen, Lambert should be removed from the Norwich Hall of Fame immediately. Say what you want about ''business'' but football is still about people. It is the coldest of moves and undoubtedly shows a man that has no affinity or affection with the club whatsoever. Hero status would be well and truly over and he wouldn''t be bothered in the slightest.
3. My Rangers supporting mate just sent me this: "You lot were crazy letting Middleton go, he''s absolutely class and only 18!" Apparently came on last night and changed the game, against Villarreal in Europe. Lafferty scored also so will take it with a pinch of salt... but I still find the Middleton one strange, especially with our focus on youth and having no prem money. I wonder if there was more to this one than we were told.
4. Headed over to sky: > http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/championship/11461082/birmingham-2-2-norwich But the video doesn''t load, seeing an error message about it ''not being available in my country or location''. Seems odd seeing as they still list all championship highlights... Is there a new home for championship highlights for UK viewers I don''t know about?! Thanks in advance, sounds like an exciting opener!
5. Is it not expected that two of the premier leagues most successful English players would get a lot of media attention for their first managerial roles? You know the media purposefully create content that they believe the general public will be interested in right?
6. > http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41710640 (Sorry can''t link in Chrome the most popular browser in the world it seems!) Found this a really interesting read and there are clear similarities in philosophy between Watford and ourselves, this line especially stood out: "We take away all the distractions," says Duxbury. "The coach is an extremely important role but our view is to make sure that is all he has to concentrate on. We don''t expect him to grow and develop the football club - that''s what we do. He can concentrate on his core competency." Obviously the scale of change has been massive for us, and in such a short amount of time as well, but the signs are really promising that this is the way forward when building stability for the long term.
7. An unflattering view on Ipswich''s ''3 Stars'' https://talksport.com/stars-and-gripes-clubs-ridiculous-symbols-their-shirts-including-man-united-liverpool-ipswich-and#
8.
Yes we need to cut our cloth accordingly, but I just have a feeling Webber will sell more than needed.
Thank you for sharing what you are "feeling" on this topic as opposed to tangible figures for "needed", such incredible insight for the rest of us.
9. Great to see Webbers long term strategy for the club is being implemented incrementally in fine detail across every age group. He comes across as someone with a carefully considered vision and just as importantly, someone with the leadership skills required to inspire his staff to execute it. I guess that''s why he''s hugely successful in his field and why Lincoln is an utter misery on an internet message board.
10. I''ll go to Birmingham and conduct a poll. brb.
11. Clearly not the same situation. We have a young manager who''s entire managerial CV was his stint in charge of the Accies. Is taking notice of his time there and what''s happened after his departure really that big a leap for some people?! Ultimately though, not interested? Dont read.
12. Still no wins under new manager and even flying NA to the game didn''t help out! Lambert''s available guys... ;) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31375245
13. Morty please copy and paste this in your next reply: "Now I have pulled my head from the sand I can graciously admit that I called this completely wrong. My opinions were based on personal defence, infallibility and stubbornness rather than the painfully obvious reality of the situation. For this, I recognise my weakness and apologies." MORTY, GIVE US A WAVE, MORTY MORTY GIVE US A WAVE!
14. It seems awfully quiet on that front...... .....now that we are nailed on for relegation of course. .....because of the on pitch decline that was blindingly obvious for so long. .....and the self prescribed comfort zone of ''low expectations'' and ''lack of ambition'' that has smothered our chances yet again. Still though, a nice little club Norwich.
15. ^ Yes, add that to my list of why he isn''t team captain material. He''s a sulker, not a leader.
16. Completely agree, Cautious Chris setting the tone for what was to follow once again, turning a positive immediately into a panicky, cowering, negative, breathing anxiety through the team and through the crowd.... He simply is not a good for Norwich City, how anyone can disagree with that is beyond me.
17. Bassong is not team captain material at all, he has the concentration and discipline of an 8 year old dizzy on lemonade... talk about lacking a cool head he''s an utter disaster at times and I''m afraid this is the reason why is a relegation specialist.
18. This performance has ''Chris Hughton'' written all over it.
19. And it only took 4 months  -  http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun/cs/forums/2943319/ShowPost.aspx *Sigh*
20. were you there? It was dreadful, like our priority away from home is to minimise how many goals we lose by. No heart, no guile, no effort, no courage, no quality, no plan b.... no thanks chris.
21. is it away end? will the ticket be with you at the ground (as opposed to in norwich...?!)
