  1. Ha. So you are predicting either they will win or we will win or a draw. Powerful stuff
  2. Brandon will get over it. His £65k this week will help. He was šhite on Sunday mind!
  3. They’re not all good players. They’re bang average players. What you saw Sunday was two championships side playing championship football. Man Utd are a premiership side and will win comfortably. Surely now after all we witnessed all the crap these players have dished up you’re not going to suggest Sunday was anything other than to relighted sides playing championship football. PLM has stolen a living all season as has Sargent. Norman has been sporadic at best. Gianoulis is a Championship defender at best and Rashica whilst having shown some intent, has scored and created how many this season exactly. I don’t need two hands to count them. It’s not the premiership that’s rubbish it us who are rubbish.
  4. The OP is an idiot who only thinks of things from his point of view. His level of ambition is the only level allowed. His expectations are the only ones that count. I’m sorry but you don’t get to tell other how to think or what they can or can’t expect. Even if that expectancy is ridiculous its allowed. Whether they get what they expect is not the issue it’s more whether the means in which they attempt force that through will gather pace a take root or not. That only happens if it’s an expectation held by enough others. If it is then change may or may not be forced to happen. But if enough want it and act to make it happen who is the OP or any of us to say that they don’t have the right? As for LDC. In reference to the section I underlined. Well nobody else of any standing at all is clamouring for his services. Unless you think only NCFC can see the value in a manager out of the entire footballing world then I think you’re still just living in your rose tinted fantasy world where everything Farke is gold and I’m afraid that world is really a fantasy only you live can see. Give me the lambert premiership days any day. Premier League football hasn’t really been seen at Carrow Road as far a the home team is concerned since then. I doubt it will be seen again for a very long time. Roll on the Championship. At least we can go to games not expecting to be embarrassed every week.
  5. Let’s just take a moment to think about that. On paper yes Everton have good players. They certainly improved when Richarlison came on But….. That was not a team of premier league players busting a gut for the cause or their manager. They were pretty awful yesterday. Poor in defence, poor in the middle of the park and until Richarlison came on toothless up front. So many misplaced passes and they offered no bite in the tackle. They looked like a team ready for a new manager and doing not much to stop that from happening. I really enjoyed yesterday, but I feel we need to be wary of false dawns. Watford it a must get something game a draw at least otherwise it will just allow another relegation rival to pull further away from us. let’s see how those players you mentioned and that line up copes against a Watford team who will be busting a gut. Not a negative just a reality check that hopefully will be prove to wrong!
  6. Have to agree. Throughly enjoyed the game yesterday, because we were able to match our opponents and more but what we saw was an awful Everton team with no really fight, no organisation or shape, play a slightly less awful City side. This will mean very little if we can’t follow it up with something against Watford, who most certainly will be up for the fight.
  7. They may not have spent more on fees but you can bet they are on wages. And wages is what attracts good players. We pay comparative peanuts wages wise compared to other clubs at this level. Always have. And we’ve got ourselves a complete safari park of monkeys.
  8. Bless. He’s šhite. He’s not even close to premier league level. Some of you lot on here need to man up a bit. This is professional football in the top league in the world not under 11 netball.
  9. Who cares how much he can run. It’s totally pointless to run 1 yard if you can control a football. What does our running have to do with it either. The guy is utter šhite. He’s not fit to wear the shirt.
  10. Why do we have to be his supporters. He’s useless. I don’t support him and I want the club and morons who signed him to know I don’t support him. He’s not fit to pull on the shirt. Just because he runs around like a headless chicken doesn’t make him a immune to criticism.
  11. So are you not demanding 100% effort from the players then?
  12. Hang on a minute. Sideshow Bob earns more a week than some fans earn a year and more a month than most fans earn a year. And he’s śhite at his job. I’d say he deserves everything he get critically. If we all underperformed in our jobs to the extent he is or as you say only performed to a substandard level because that’s all we are capable of. We’d get abuse from management, colleagues, and possibly the people we serve or supply services to. His massive wage is in small part paid by every fan who attends games and that in my views give those of us who do attend every right to voice our opinion. If he doesn’t like it he could fall on his sword and ask the club to terminate his contract. I’m 100% sure they would. He like so many we bought has zero sell on value. To off load his wages and cut our losses would be a bonus.
  13. This is the problem at this club, lesson are not learned. We don’t see what in front of our eyes. we fail to recognise Hanley, McLean, Gibson, Rupp, not good enough before in the premier league for us and others, not going to be now. Gunn not good enough at this level. We failed to learn from the last campaign that you need a presence in midfield, adefensive midfielder who can disrupt and win the ball. We failed to learn that you need another striker who can score some goals at this level. lesson we’re not learned and now yet again we’re men against boys!
  14. Smith’s inability to get anything out of this bunch of misfits is a clear indication that Webber is responsible for the dire situation we’re in. The recruitment aside, someone is responsible for deciding Idah is good enough as a back up premier league striker, that McLean is good enough when last time he wasn’t same goes for Hanley, for Gibson it’s a case of not good enough for relegation rivals but good enough for us. We haven’t signed any Premier league quality players and I doubt that really Webber thought we had. We signed players who we think will get us back up the following season to deliver yet another premier league payday. How could players not good enough to keep their team in the Bundesliga be good enough in the premier league. We signed players on the way down. And for a reason. Nothing about this campaign leads me to believe we intended to stay up. We’ve gone for players who can bounce us back hopefully. Most city fans being what they are will accept that if it happens. The danger is when or if it doesn’t and we slip out of that cycle.
  15. With what we have to spend on players and wages. How could the recruitment ever be spot on. If you could pick up decent premier league quality players for the money we have and on the wages we offer then others would snap them up first for just a little more money and a little more wages. We have signed what the rest of the premier league dont want. The only way to get players that might be premier league quality signings is to take a punt on a total outsider like we did with Emi. Problem is you need to be very lucky and you go through a bag of total dross as well. We can attract good championship players when were in the championship because were nearer the top of that particular tree. And they see it as a route to the premier league. Unfortunately very few can make that step up once there. Like it or not we dont really have any great plan or model. We spend when we can or more likely when the powers that be think the fans wont stand for not spending any more. Trouble is we spank the money up the wall on the Sargents and Gibsons rather that trying to retain the Emi's or make serious bids for the Skipps. Were run by people who have no interest in improving our status only maintaining their control. Why else would they not be look, desperately looking for investment!
  16. This becomes embarrassing after a while. This is a forum where you discuss things. People can have different/ their own opinions, yet anybody who doesn’t just sing from the rafters that everyone and everything connected to the club is wonderful is accused of not being a supporter and labelled a binner. Grow up for god sake. My opinion is that Gibson isn’t good enough, why don’t you offer a counter argument rather than offering childish replies which are no more mature than saying your opponent smells!
  17. The guy is not premier league quality. Really think he’s another waste of money!
  18. Lol That team would struggle to get out of the dressing room let alone our own half. If Smith picked that line up I'd give up hope!
