  1. Saying Idah is Šh1te is like saying Hitler was a bit tetchy!
  2. I think you’re an idiot who doesn’t pay for the most expensive season ticket in the championship like many of us do but still thinks he can tell or guide us on how to let this shambles of a hierarchy get away with their piśš poor management of OUR club
  3. I would imagine there has been offers but a lot less than we’d hoped for. Maybe due to the fact that they are 2 defenders who were part of the most calamitous defence the Championship has seen
  4. Couldn't care less about the shirt. Its yellow and green that's our colours so does a job. Much more concerned that we dont have the required standard if personal to fill said shirts.
  5. Well providing Wagner plays 2 up front he wouldn’t say he’s hoping for a bad strike partnership would he! All this smoke the club gets players to blow up are arśeś is getting beyond insulting. Play football, score goals do better than the last debacle that’s all that matters. We shall see if that is going to happen when the season starts. I have my doubts but as ever let’s wait and see.
  6. Scored against a good pub team. population of Gibraltar less than half that of Lowestoft!
  7. Webber want us to give the players a chance and to be supportive! Only thats not really what he’s asking. He’s really asking us to accept whatever the players dish up for however long they dish it up and be “supportive” by never questioning it or venting any dissatisfaction with it. I’m sure we will all turn up again on the first home game of the season with the same hopes and dreams we do every season, and support and give the benefit to players as always happens at the start. What he’s asking is don’t moan if the same dross continues. So the really question is how long do we all do that for if it does continue?
  8. Change is happening most definitely. We’re getting worse. I don’t believe for one minute that we have the resources or the plans in place to successfully mount a challenge on the league next year. Love to be proven wrong but that’s how I see it.
  9. Why don’t you? Because you’re happy with how things are? Or because for you the need to have a club is more important than the need to improve. You’re scared that too much investment might mean crippling debt and the end of our club? Some might say too little will eventually lead to the same. There is no such thing as a “self funding” football club at this level. We’ve already borrowed again and have had to “create more shares” which is just a watering down process. We are going backwards fast. The club is failing across the board. And we shouldn’t have to protest our anger at the “Stowmarket two” to get things changed. Change should be being sort for the good of the club and all concerned. you post a bad game and a bad argument.
  10. Unfortunately no indication of how we will facilitate the massive improvements required next season to achieve promotion. That I fear is because it’s going to rely on luck, luck and more luck.
  11. Thing is I’ve warmed to Warnock over the years. His style of football is dictated by the quality of player that he’s got. He doesn’t put square pegs in round holes. Or try and get donkeys to dribble out of defence. Also he first of all make you hard to beat. Then build on that foundation. Something we could really, really do with. We’re soft and a Warnock is the sort of thing we need to toughen us up. Not for one minute saying we should have gone after him before or now just wish some of his better attributes were in our mangers locker along with his own!
  12. We just carry on season after season not being able to defend across the entire back line. We’ve be lucky enough that our attacking attributes of the past have carried us through.
  13. But are we. We’re £60m in debt due to a loan we were forced to take. The club has already said we will need to sell assets if we fail to get promoted to survive. We will sell for around £10m, £7m, 8m the few assets we have and replace with £1m, £1.5m maybe £2.5m players. We dilute and waste our resources constantly and eventually it will catch up with us. Leaving zero assets left to sell next time we need to raise some cash!
  14. It’s not going to be convincing the city faithful he’s good enough that is the problem. It’ll be holding on to him come the summer when our cash strapped club is offered money for him. He is an asset we will sell to survive!
  15. I feel like this is the last chance to save this horrendous season and give ourselves a slim, slim chance of making the playoffs. we have some very difficult away game to come which I full expect us to get little if anything from however a statement of intent today might just give us the merest glimmer of hope. It could literally be the last chance saloon for this season and many to come. Failure to get promotion this season will undoubtedly lead to assets ( the few we have) being sold to fund the survival of our wonderfully! run self-funding club. Whilst everyone else looks for super rich sugar daddies we’ve diluted our shares in the hope that an American investor who is way, way short of the financial clout need to inject really ambition in to this club might plough in what is in this day and age a poultry sum of £10m in to the survival kitty. Dark times ahead I fear as we fall further and further behind the pack!
  16. Avoiding the obvious that some are consistently bad. where are the consistent players the players who turn in 5,6,7 decent performances in a row. Solid performances. 7.5/8 out of 10 performances. we don’t have any! Giannoulis, Idah, awful players need rid asap offer nothing, contribute very little if anything . Once in a blue moon players. closely followed by Sorensen, Tzolis, Gibson, Nunez. Capable of the occasional good game but usually followed by a stinker. Sargent, Hernandez, Hanley, Dowell, both keepers and Sara. Better than the above in terms of what they have contributed this season but again great chunks of the season where the go missing, under perform and contribute to our own downfall very often, rather than to our success. Then there’s Pukki. A great player who is now sadly past his best but labouring in a team totally unable to player to his strengths. Still by far our most intelligent player. Alas to often not on the same wavelength as our dire supply line. I also think Kenny requires a mention on his own. I actually think he is our most consistent player if that isn’t a contradiction in terms. he is a neat, tidy player, he is never they worst on the pitch. Something that all the aforementioned are at one time or other but he is rarely the best. Kenny is a grafter but that’s never going to be enough without others around to share the burden and do the creative stuff. All in all this bunch of player just fail to turn in a performance often enough, together enough for us to be anything but upper mid table fodder!
  17. We didn’t lose because of the ref. We lost because we were awful. Totally without ideas, guile or quality. we were utter garbage toady.
  18. Watching good footballers play good football cheers me up. I’d like to see 2 decent half’s of football in a row for starters. You like most blinkered sheep on here are getting carried away with a couple of wins at home against dire opposition, where we completely lost our way in the second half in both games. Sorry but get a grip. let’s see how things go against a team who’s up for the fight on Saturday before we all declare the new messiah here and every players a World Cup winner in waiting. 51 thousand post saying everything’s wonderful must even get someone as up best as you down sometimes!
  19. Sargent was signed at the start of a premiership season where we desperately needed players capable of playing at that level. Never was he even close to good enough. I very, very much doubt at that level he ever will be. The fact he’s turned in some decent performances a division lower is no indication he will ever cut it at premiership level. We’ve waited and waited for Idah to show us what he’s all about. He I’m afraid is playing like Sargent last season a league above his true ability.
  20. So if I think Idah is utter pants. I’ve just got to smile and politely say unlucky old bean. Come on its a man’s game. He’s not good enough by a long chalk for a club hoping to get promoted in this league. He’s a cheap option. I have no problem with the lad being a back up if that the best back up we can afford but starting game after game with no return. ** that for a game of soldiers.
  21. I’m all for giving the lad a break. The club certainly have with a 5 year contract. However my concern is the quality of the last few opponents has been. Well poor to say the least. Idah hasn’t exactly filled his boots.
