They had no idea how to control the midfield as the undoubtably should have been doing against a 10 man Newcastle. Both fullbacks/wingbacks call them what you will we’re also very poor. Max had one of his not good enough with the final ball days and Williams was absolutely useless coming forward. Turned inside every time. Never tried to beat his man. going back to the midfield three that LDC highlighted. I’m reluctant to say the Shearer was spot on. All three of them slowed the game down whenever they were on the ball. The only one who occasionally tried to pass quickly was Rupp and of course they just went astray because he’s a very poor excuse for a premier league footballer. Missed Norman and Milot but really we have to look at where the creativity is going to come from. Sargent! I’m sorry but he’s never going to be close to being good enough, especially wide in a creative roll. Tzolis looks raw and very unready for this level. Hi You can see we are clearly far better organised as a team and I think again LDC is spot on we need our best players fit and having good games in unison. Last night was very poor but actually on reflection who’s surprised. We’re not used to controlling games for long periods of time at this level. We would rather play on the counter than press the issue away from home. I was very down on the team last night but in the end a point away is a point. There is no such thing as Farkeball really. It only worked when were playing teams of a far inferior level to us technically. Our record against the technically good sides in the championships wasn’t so good. We were just more consistent against the less gifted. At this level with the players we have or are ever likely to have Farkeball is a disaster with didn’t even wait to happen. As for hoofball. There’s a difference between hoofing it to just try and make progress up the pitch and clearing your lines. Yes clearing with a hoof can just result in it coming back in again but it’s a mix you want if the opportunity is there to play your way out and start an attack then we should. But under Farke we would play our way out from our own blôody goal line with 9 opposing players in the box!

It’s another home match which if we are hoping to avoid relegation we need to target a win.

It was so refreshing to see the side come out second half with a different approach and tactics. A change of personnel where it wasn’t working as well. Don’t think that would have happened under Farke.

You’re willing to give Farke unlimited chances to turn things around but 2 young, maybe misguided, very possibly mistreated young player can’t F off as far as you are concerned. 2 players who might just have helped save your beloved Farke if he could put his ego and arrogance to one side and do what really good managers do, manage young players who sometimes let things get to them, overwhelm them, let thing go to their heads. But no it’s a case of isolate and bully them as far as I can see! You really are blinkered, open you eyes man. The problem was Farke’s in ability to adapt. That was his downfall it ran through his management like a big dirt smear.
