1. You have to be able to do the one thing most men can''t do. Work the washing machine
 2. I must admit I am concerned that we haven’t yet signed any players. I understand the window is only just open but I would have expected that to be the green light to tie up deals that have been negotiated prior. Some on here will immediately castigate me for not giving enough time but who can honestly say hand on heart that the are not just a little concerned that we are being out bid out negotiated and out muscled by not only other championship teams but teams with far less standing within English football, teams with far fewer and less adequate facilities and with fan bases half our size.I am surprised that the club has failed since our wholesale clear out to find one player willing to make Carrow Road his home yet. Are we even competitive with our valuations, offers and wages.  I am gob smacked that the only tangible news coming from our club is the signing of a “Kit Manager”. What earthly good is that news to a football fan. And would it even make the news on the web sites of other clubs.I have to hope that our Manager knows what he is doing and what he has done. Without stirring up old news his release of our favourite son whilst we stand on the edge of a giant and possibly un-fillable abyss was to most beyond explanation. He will be replaced by somebody better. Who, how and when. As long as he is the decision will be vindicated. But can it or will it be done. The club has nobody better so only fresh blood will do that job. Maybe Hoolahan is to be the man but with every day that passes without his signing being announced the likelihood seems less. One thing is for sure if we only spend in the region and in the nature that we have over the last two closed seasons we will be under immense pressure. Our survival last season was down to juts over performance and some big slices of luck. With out quality replacements for the mostly dross we have let go our time in this league will be over. I am not yet resigned to these fates. I still have to believe that the club it’s directors and owners will see that we have to act or risk never being in a position to do so again. We all wait for the rabbits to come out of the hat and the aces to be pulled from the sleeves. When will that happen. Or should I say will that happen.
 3.

People forget how much Worthy actually did for the club - just a shame he wasn''t backed once we were relegated and paid the cost. Lets hope Roeder can bring us success too...
Agreed, Worthington delivered the best times for the club since Mike Walker, and he did pay the price for the Boards failure to make enough money available for the year we were in the Prem as well as the year after.
I agree with both. However it is also easy to forget how out of his depth he was in the premiership. Some, many of his decisions, formations and tactics were naive. We can all harp on about the boards not making funds available. We only know what we saw. He did sign players for that prem season. mostly bad signings not good enough or in some cases not committed enough. We had Aston for half a season. He did well but could have done better if allowed. Not one away win all season. Always the formation away ultra defensive, ultra cautious. Game plan away never to win. When the time came to win away when we had to we didn''t know how or what to do. Worthington is the past. The one thing we can all thank him for. Huckerby. What a signing. And what fun to watch him play. Given licence especially in the promotion season just to do his thing. no restriction, no secondary duties, no strict positioning, just play, that’s what Worthy gave Hucks and us.Thanks Nige and an even bigger thanks Darren.
 4. Damn when I first saw the thread I thought it was about Matty Patterson. I was quite happy about that.
 5.
Hear Hear, I for one am very close to leaving this forum.
Lol, that''s got everybody worried. I think some of the posters on here are becoming a little precious. If you don''t like it don''t read it. Lighten up. And please, please, please don''t leave. I don''t think I could cope.
 6.
YOUR A PRICK!, WHY CLOG UP THE BOARD WITH THIS SHIT YOU LITTLE INBRED PENIS?
*You''re. That''s twice now. This message board is going to the dogs
 7.
Maybe he''s not a massive team player but does that matter if he hits 30 goals. I''d certainly welcome him back. If the money is available, or we are still owed money from Derby then SIGN HIM UP!!
Couldn''t agree more. It''s fair to say that if Earnshaw doesn''t score you don''t get anything out of him in that game. Just like good old loyal Jamie. Difference is at this level Earnie don''t go more than 2 games without scoring. He a great goal scorer at this level. I very much doubt he wants to come back or that we have the funds to get him but if he did and we do then we would be hard pressed to find better for the money he''s going to go for.
 8.

That''s not even close to being true. Cureton is as lazy as they get.
I''d like to know where the "he works hard" myth comes from, myself. But he loves the club so that''s okay. Obviously we''d much rather have him than a proven quality goalscorer like Earnshaw.
He''s also for a small striker about as slow as they get. He''s not getting any younger and he certainly isn''t getting any faster. Disregarding Wiz cos he talk out of his backside about players he only seen on TV I''d say that Cureton is no more loyal than any other player. I''d say when we offered him a contract on more money than he was on at Colchester to play in front of 25000 fans every week at a club with a 10 times a higher profile than Colchester. Let alone the better facilities and perks. I''d say, loyalty was not the first thing  on his mind. Players only love you when there playing is the line and that’s the truth. Loyalty is something sad football fans make up in their heads to feel good.Oh he loves the club and the fans. BS he loves the money the fame and the life style. And who wouldn’t but don’t give me this loyalty crap. P.S Earnshaw is way above Cureton in the quality stakes.
 9. I too went to the FA vase match. Great stadium and good day out. But one will only ever know how great it really is when one attends a match involving Norwich. To be there with a full house, playing for a cup or promotion when it''s the team you''ve followed all your life. The team you''re obsessed with. The team that you love. That must be awesome.
 10.
To early to fully judge yet cause we need stability but I''ve not been impressed since the end of January - Tinkering with a team and formation that was working well, poor loan players releasing the still good enough Hucks makes me sense that Roeder will not do it!   Hope he proves me wrong!
Ithink you sum it up for us all. A lot of what we did formation wise after to run left us all saying why? But credit were it''s due. We all want him to do well. But nobody is above reproach in football. Time will tell.
 11.
Don''t think he can be judged one way or another until the end of next season, afterall it will be his team this time round.
Couldn''t disagree more. Will you wait to judge him until the end of next season even if that means relegation. No of course not. If we are rock bottom by Xmas everybody will judge him.I''m a big believer that in this league you have no time to settle in, be it player or manager. This isn''t the premiership, clubs don''t have massive squads and resources. You can''t afford to wait for players to come good. It''s the same with managers. The gulf between the Premiership and the Championship is vast. The gulf between the 1st Div and the premiership is mind blowing. Failure in the form of relegation to that division is total unthinkable.I judge and will continue to judge our manger and players on a month to month basis. This isn''t everybody’s idea of being a die hard fan but for me that’s what I pay my money for. What I''ve watched over the last 3 seasons has been utter crap and I’ve paid well over £1000 for the privilege. I will back the manager up to the point where I feel he isn''t improving our team. At the moment all we can do is sit on our hands and wait. Good luck Glenn you''ll need it. You have laid down your law and told us of your ambitions. Now we will see if you can work the oracle. You budget will obviously dictate to what extent you can work but if you don’t know by now what that is then you have already made your biggest mistake and will die by it. I give you more credit than that sir, so here''s one fan who''s backing you and waiting patiently for you to act.
 12. You watch us fly next season now. Always thought the kit man was the problem. Oh it''s good to be back.
 13.
hate to piss on your bbq lad''s but no chance!!!
I''d like to piss on your bbq
 14.
Rigters would be great, King is absolute rubbish.
Making yourself look a bit silly here. King is a class act at this level. Big, strong, fast, powerful would be the idea player for us. But he wouldn''t sign for us. We can''t afford him and we are not good enough to attract him. If I''m wrong I''ll gladly admit it. Rigter, hey great, I''m sure he has talent but we are yet to see that in England. He''ll need to drop a few pounds too as well clearly over weight when he was with us.
 15.
look...dnt get on your high horse about it, i can understand what you mean in regards to the comparison, but its a comparison none the less..so get over it...who said anything about me being disrespeful, but if it causes u an issue then sorry.
Fair play.
 16.
the current team worries me too, but should we tell World war 2 veterans no one cares about their past achievements just because we are struggling in the middle east???
I think your analogy is macabre and a little sick. To compare World war 2 veterans to well paid sports men is disrespectful. This type of hero worship is to much for me. The Greatest team ever are a bunch of men who were paid well above the average wage for what the did. They spent their time doing as a job what many of us pay subs to do as a pastime. Quite a few of the "greatest team ever" are wealthy beyond their wildest dreams (and good luck to them) so your comparison is in my view is in extremely bad taste.
 17. I am sick to the back teeth with this greatest ever team rubbish. Which seem to be more on the clubs mind than the shower we have a the moment. For starters this greatest ever team crap is very subjective and also impossible to really prove. Iwan Roberts one of my all time favourite players. However his goal scoring and play for us was all done in the second tier of English football. Whilst Robert Fleck produced in top flight time and time again. Even our beloved Huck played all but one season for us in the Championship whilst numerous wingers produced for us in the top league in the world. What we need to worry about his how players with the limited abilities of Fotheringham and Doherty can be hold our club to ransom in there contract talks. Shows how desperate things have become. We need them and the know it. And we do. Thing is they are average to say the least yet we are still having to pander to their requests or risk having two less players come the new season.Sad times.
 18. Are you sure things are going to be that good!
 19.

Maybe it''s the same three year plan that Derby had just before they got promoted.  The bloke can''t say anything without getting slated!!!
A maybe it''s the same 3 year plan that just saw them relegated as the worst ever Premiership side in history. I''m not slating the guy I''m just say that I''m disappointed that yet another manager or high ranking Norwich City official feels the need to spin us loyal fans another load of guff. We all realise Rome wasn''t built in a day but can anyone actually say they have a 3 year plan when it come to managing a football team like Norwich with limited resources. The variables are so vast and the line so thin. One injury to a key play and your thinking again.Come on Glenn show us action do feed us drivel. Good Luck Glenn. OTBC
Maybe it''s the same one that got us promoted under NW, albeit that was more like 3.5 years. Of course it''s management speak. But if someone puts a mic under your nose, you''re not going to say "Errrrm, well I''m basically making it up as I go along to giveme time enough to build a squad that''s capable" are you? FFS. Norwich fans are becoming masters of "damned if you do, damned if you don''t".
No only damned because we don''t.BTW was it not said in a interview given to the EDP or Evening news. Surely he had fore-knowledge of the interview and if not why not and then if you don''t know what to say, say nothing.

 21.

Yet again we bid for other Championship teams cast offs. Not good enough for Wolves but good enough for us. I for one hope it not true.
Firstly we don''t know if we have bid for him yet - it''s gossip - and secondly, just because he''s had one poor season at Wolves doesn''t mean he should be written off. Maybe his Wolves'' style of play didn''t suit Eastwood''s game, maybe he was unsettled in the area. Some players perform well at some clubs but can''t do it at others - Jamie Cureton, for example!
And maybe he''s an average Championship player, playing in a very average league for an average wolves side in which he delivered an below average return.
 22. Yet again we bid for other Championship teams cast offs. Not good enough for Wolves but good enough for us. I for one hope it not true.
 23. To steal a quote from one of my favourite TV shows the office "I''m sorry Glenn but that still sounds like management talk and I know you hate that!"I am always dubious when manager of football teams talk about long term plans. usually they are not with the club 6 months later. What is your 3 year plan Glenn. Year 1 sign some player and lone some finish higher that last year. Year 2 sign some player and lone some try to finish higher than year 1. Year 3 sign some players and lone some and try to finish higher that year 2. Surely that is what is called management. You can dress it up all you like but for me it''s what all football managers try to do. the 3 year bit is just bull $hit that can be used by the club to excuse any failing in the transfer market and league standings next season.I like Glenn but more and more his word seem to annoy rather that encourage me.
