1. Not meaning to go into the boring why''s and where for''s but think you''ll actually find that they are Soliders.
Canaries utd, tho the Marines are properly hard they are sailors not soldiers, the clue''s in the name
2. The Citizenship has come to the end of its first season, and we are looking for new managers and new teams for the second season. The only rule pertaining to this league is that your team name has to be that of an actual team, whether it be International, Premiership, La Liga, Bundersliga etc – but you cannot pick Norwich City FC. The link to create your team is: http://www.xperteleven.com/ And the league id is: 211746 Entires for this league will close on 19 October 2009, with the first matches being played on 24 October 2009. If you have any mates that are City supporters, and who would be interested in joining the league please pass this info to them.
3. Charlton''s good start to the season has been boosted by a £7m investment from seven of their directors. It is hoped that the money will help the Addicks, who are currently second in League One, win promotion to the Championship at the first attempt. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/charlton_athletic/8268618.stm

5. Wind up because surely contacting the Ticket Office would be the most intelligent thing to do - unless, of course, anyone here has Ticket Office for Windows (NCFC Version)
6. We have setup a Fantasy Football League at http://www.xperteleven.com which has now come to the end of its first season. It is only open to Norwich Supporters, and names for new teams MUST be that of an actual team otherwise your application will not be accepted. We are looking for new managers and new teams to join the league, so if you are interested please email me at info@forces2canaries.co.uk for the Application PIN.
7. I do wonder whether some supporters level of acceptance has been diluted over the years, and whether some are just ready to accept some of the dross that is served up. Yes, we had a problem with injuries last night. But to use the substitutions as the failings for last nights result in unbelievable. At the end of the day, the three players who came on are all professionals and should be able to fit in without any problems - it is not like Lambert had handed a set of boots to someone in the stands and told him to get on without. With Hughes''s injury came about the demise of our playing ability last night. Holt was well off the pace, and failed miserably to put very little pressure on a very weak MK Dons defence. The midfield after the changes looked like rabbits caught in the headlights, and when Lappin filled in for Drury he looked like a fish out of water. Our heads dropped, we didn''t push up and we didn''t close the opposition down quick enough, allowing them far too much time on the ball. Yes, we had to rely on a number of youngsters, but the one thing they should give us is pace, and that was sadly lacking! Our passing was rubbish, with some many balls going astray, we reverted to the long ball and head tennis. God forbid when Charlton, Leeds and Huddersfield come a knocking!
8. God I hope not! Would prefer Jimmy Jewell!
9. Many thanks for the posting, have to admit at being slightly stumped at some of the responses (yes I know hindsight is a wonderful thing!): Question : What we''re the factors that made you decide to appoint Bryan Gunn ( BG ) in the close season ? Michael Wynne Jones ( MJW ) said he felt BG needed more time. Delia Smith ( DS ) challenged anyone in the room to find a manager - there were no takers - and also felt more time was needed. What? More time to well and truely f*ck it up? Were the 19 games last season not enough to show that Gunn is incapable of motivating players? Question : Who else did you interview ? DS said they couldn''t be open as the Press were in attendance and David McNally ( DM ) said that it would be inappropriate to name names .( quite why having the Press in attendance would make a difference I really don''t know ) Maybe because no one else was interviewed knowing full well that Team Gunn was the cheap option? Question : It came out in the summer that Ian Crook was on a longer contract than previously thought. How did this come about ? MWJ : We felt he needed a longer period after uprooting from Australia. The Board''s decision on his re-appointment was not influenced by the Charlton result. DS : We felt the management team looked right as it some has lower League experience. Maybe wrong here; but wasn''t Crooks contract reported on before the Charlton game? And also, wasn''t Butterworth''s contract details made public at the same time? Maybe he needed a longer time after the uprooting from Hartlepool? Question : Are you trying to sell/ had any offers for your shares ? MWJ : We weren''t keen to sell our shares. We need investment. Delia and I have no desire to be majority shareholders but we''ve had no offers. No one wants football clubs. There was no offer from Mr Cullum. Not keen to sell your shares? No desire to be majority investors? Which one is it? Furthermore, no-one wants football clubs? Take it no one wants Plymouth Argyle? Notts County? Portsmouth or Southampton (yes, fully aware the last one is forced but they now appear to be in a better position financially than NCFC do) Question : Is the football club up for sale ? DS : Not for sale.( I was a bit puzzled by this as I was under the impression that if a decent offer came along it would be acceptable ) We need new investment. We don''t want NCFC to fall into vultures hands. She and MWJ knew that they would not get their money back ( Applause from the floor ) So again the WJ''s decide who does and doesnt invest? And decided who are or arent vultures? So far their decision making has been well wide of the mark so not sure I trust them to decide on the suitability of any potential investors. Question : Andrew and Sharon Turner. What happened to them ? MWJ : They left and didn''t give a reason . The Board are not hiding behind anything. ( when pressed on this MJW said he''d given an answer so the matter was left ) Is this for real? Didnt give a reason? Have to say I find the comment unbelievable! Question : Why are we in a mess when we get such large attendances each week ? DM : We spend too much. We have a duty of care to ensure that NCFC is here in another 107 years. We will get a plan together. DS : We''re fighting a fire called finance. The alternative is administration. MWJ : Our attendance doesn''t pay it''s way Our attendance doesnt pay its way? If you take the average season ticket price at £350 and the reported 18000 we have sold then that equates to nearly £6.5 Mill. Taking into account the various other sources of income, such as Club Shop, Catering, Hotel it does make you wonder just what they are doing with the money? May appear that I am having a pop at the OP, but I''m not, am grateful he has taken the time to post the comments - just find them so utterly unbelievable!
10. Can I have two large portions of the pie please - one for yourself! And one for Mr Gunn!
