1. The BBC website did a report and said that the captain at LA Galaxy is on only £60,000 a year and all the players are rathered annoyed about the slight wage difference.
2. I''m sorry to say this but i was never fortunate to see the man in a norwich shirt and was wondering how bad a player could be. Whoever has seen him play please relive your fondest memories of his delightful skills he brought to carrow road.
3.
Sorry did not realise that blinkered enthusiasm without considering reality was prequisite for replying to your illustrious thread.  So you disagree with my points then?  I am glad that the fact he ''sounds'' like the player we are missing has satisfied you, I apologise for needing evidence more concrete than that. I even just read on this forum that he ''sounds like Koumas but better'' (or something equally dumb).  If he was as good as Koumas, then clubs would have been in for him!  Koumas is a sought after player, ''Fozzy'' was wanted by nobody other than Norwich, much the same as Robinson. There is certainly not an idiot shortage around here at the minute.
I actually wrote he sounds like Koumas except he is more of a hard worker. If you want to change what someone says then write for The Sun. If you have to change the words for a quotation then your argument is already flawed. I didn''t say that he was a better player i just said he was a player of simular style except more hard working (which i believe is a negative of Koumas''s game). At this current time we cannot afford players of Koumas''s price,  but we can buy players and develop them which is what Grant is striving to do. To call someone an idiot for an opinion is bizzarre and says more about you than the others on this board. I feel at the moment some fans are almost willing the team to do badly to prove themselves right. If i am not mistaken Koumas wasn''t greatly sought after in the Summer either, having to return to his club due to nobody wanting to pay the price tag. It will probably turn out Koumas is a better player than "Fozzy" but i''m sorry but i like to have faith in new players otherwise they never get any support.
4. I believe that he sounds very much like Koumas except a little bit more hard working. Koumas was someone everyone wanted on this message board. I love it people want to write the guy off before he has started. I''ve never seen him but its rare for Grant to big a player up quite so much and normally to be fair to him he is generally correct about individuals. I look forward to seeing him
5. A bit harsh mate. He was only asking peoples opinions. I thought it was nice to see a post that wasn''t defending or attacking the NCFC regime but was just genuinely about football. But well done for rubbishing that
6.
Why did they sell for £75k if he is so good??? Clearly isn''t fantastic in Scottish football so why should he be any good in the Championship???
Because there is very little money outside the top 4 of the SPL. Also it sounds like the manager felt he couldn''t get in his way if an offer came in. Constantly on the negative, why don''t you think it of a steal? You may actually enjoy your life then instead of just waiting to be grumpy about something else. Or how about just have a cup of tea and watch neighbours. That relaxes me. Don''t forget the hobnob to go with of course
7. For defenders most of us find it hard to think of anybody. I believe Grant will get someone in on loan and maybe a forward as well. More people available once managers work out there squads after transfer deadline. I''m dissappointed we didnt get a defender, I was on the internet till 2 still hoping, but i think we will get a couple of experienced players in on loan.
8. I feel you have made some good points but you fail in others. Thorne does not scrap like Iwan. Iwan was not the most skillful but he had drive of which Thorne lacks. Colin is a good player like you stated, but if you haven''t been on here recently you are telling people that already agree with you. He was put down last year but on here he nearly always gets high marks in peoples match reports now. Agree with some of the lack of confidence comments, eg scared to shoot. however, you are never going to stop any football ground groaning about a bad shot. If arsenal were 1 nil down they would groan if henry spooned a shot i''m sure. This is where they have to be professional footballers and believe in themselves. Listening to the crowd during the game will only end in disarster.
9. A great post. Nice to see points being backed up, not just Thorne is S**T statements that constantly fly through this message board. I think this Brown will be good. Do you think him and Huckerby will be our answer to our upfront problems now we have Lappin to replace him on the left. Think Etuhu could be a class act for us and i think the new signings will move him to the bench to give him a very much needed kick up the backside. I am more worried about our defence though but confident with staying up now. Think Brown/huckerby combo upfront with a passing midfield will slowly move us up the table
10. Riordan has broken into the first team at celtic so would no longer come to us. Don''t know about Hayter however
11. This probably won''t go down all to well but i honestly think these two signings will bring a great balance to the team. It pushes huckerby upfront with brown and we even have chadwick coming back soon to add competition for the wings. He has also sent our youngsters out on loan which the previous manager failed. Although the results aren''t there yet the performance against Wolves was an improvement. I feel now the team is built around wing play and the ball on the floor. Two things that got us up last time. It''s going to be a scrap till the end of the season, i''m not deluded, but i do have a feeling of optimism. However, i hope we get a centre back in but i feel we have already failed with that. If Grant was chasing someone else i don''t believe he would have taken time out for a press conference. I am hoping now he has a defender, with experience, to bring in on loan. Maybe from West Ham? They have just signed Upson. There is a month extention on the Loan deadline is there not? Anyway, near mid to bottom of the table at the end of the season we probably will be but the increase of quality of football there will be.
12. Will this mean the end of huckerby playing out of position on the left? i hope so. think these two signings will bring balance to the team. Well done Grant
13.
But how....this god forsaken team doesn''t know how to win. Sack Grant sack the Board Get the lot out
A very helpful opinion. Seriously though, we sounded like we actually created chances for the first time in a long time. Fingers crossed we can get a bit of confidence in the forwards, they maybe not what we want or deserve but it is what we have.
14. I have been trying to say this since earnies injury
15. I love it. Even then people were saying drop Mackay and look how we regretted that. Interesting to see how opinions change after it has happened. Cool to read back at the good times though
16. I am hoping we go for a 4-4-2 with Martin upfront. I still think we can win it for some reaon. I may have stolen everyones optimism. If so, i''m sorry. I say 3-1 victory!? How silly of me but still think the injury to earnshaw means we will play more as a unit at the top end of the team
17. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/middlesbrough/6298335.stmI know he is old but he would give us that solidaty in the middle and give us some valuable passion. Not sure if he''d come though
18. I can understand your opinion NN but the problem is that if you base a team around a player who doesn''t pass you could have a seriuos problem. I believe we would have worked better with 2 upfront so one person who could do the linking up and earnshaw can then be free to play his own game. Just feel people overlooked his overall gameplay. Van Nistelrooy scored a hatful of goals for united but his teamplay was awful, now they have got rid of them i dont see it as a suprise they are playing far better again.
19. Is it me or can Colin also play at centre back? if this is the case we could play Cave-Brown at right back when he returns.
20. I''ve tried to find them as well but at the moment i havent been able to find it. I really want to see it just to be reminded of good times
21. i know this is going to be be thrown in my face but do you think the injury to earnshaw is going to be a blessing in disguise. West Brom let him go because he is not an all round team player.Yes he is good at making chances for himself but he doesn''t hold the ball up or lay others off which is maybe why others have failed to score. Now with a Brown/Martin combo upfront it may give others, Hucks/Etuhu/Croft, time to support the forwards. Whenever i have seen Earnshaw pick a ball up he puts his head down and runs. I just have this feeling that the team dynamic may very well change with earnshaw out of the team and others may begin to chip in once again. Ps. I am not saying Earnshaw is a bad player, he is one of our best, just saying i feel we may change our style to the better. Anyone agree?
22. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/6272289.stm   Really happy with this signing
23. The Doc''s mindset is something that has always been in question. e can be a very good centre back for about half the game and then suddenly he appears at left wing completely irrationally. I feel The Doc cannot disscuss what is good for a youths mentality when his was left at luton years ago. I feel that football is all about mentality, and is also something that doesn''t really develop. you either have it or not. Rooney was already a first teamer for Everton by the age of Martin. This was also when Everton were only just above the relegation zone. I feel him playing in this pressure enviroment never really stunted his growth. Although you don''t really hear much about him now do you....? Must have been to much for him......
24. I don''t really believe you can group Green with the rest of that group. Green stood by Norwich untill it was very much a sunken ship. I believe Green was wanted by many Prem clubs when we won promotion but he signed a long-term contract. Green left at the right time for him, his international career was disappearing if he stayed with us any longer. I have no ill feeling towards him, and if he ever came back to this club i would welcome him with open arms. The others however, i would welcome them with a friendly middle finger Please enjoy my views
