1.
couple of plebs thats who they are! dont condone that behaviour at all! jas :)
i dont condone the behaviour but cant blame them for being angry,
2. After pre season i was looking forward to the start of the new season and getting under way in a happy mood, even to the point that i was going to take my son to his first game at carrow road for his birthday against wycombe but after todays game i think id rather take him to see colchester, at least hell see a team with some balls to come out and play some football, rather then watch a team play possum and role up and die like the sorry bunch of losers that were on the pitch today, i wouldve said played but of course they didnt.
3. bishop, but only to have a laugh at a could be headline for the press if he does well A. Bishop plays well with the young boys at norwich
4. manu - owen will score the goals they will miss from selling ronaldo as hes gotta point to prove to get back into the england set up sheffield united, - i think ched evans is gonna be the difference this season leeds - i think we will be lucky if we get a top six with the current squad weve got so far rotherham - dont think theres much difference between top spots in this one
5. i agree, i think weve got a pretty good midfield setup now but i seriously am worried about where the goals are gonna come from, i can see maric getting a few but we need to have a decent defence so we dont concede, i think if the team can play together they could perform some shocks and do well but i seriously think that without 2 decent goalscorers well be destined for a mid table possible last place playoff berth, i think we need a left back similar to what bertrand provided and a rightback in the vain of edworthy, as for the striker, we need a player like heskey for the other strker to play off, some one who will score goals and not be muscled off the ball,
6. i only put semmy sa i really dont think we will sign another rb
7. with all the arrivals and expected arrivals who do you think will be regular starting eleven i think itll be the following theo semmy nelson doherty drury whaley gill tudor jones hoolohan maric mcviegh i fully expect maric to be given a contract and whaley to join after his medical im hoping im wrong with semmy starting as i think hes a liability
8. since when has serbia not been part of the eu, i thought they joined in the last lot of entrants with bulgaria and romania and montenegro and macedonia
9. there ws only one person id like to see as manager of norwich, boothroyd, for me he wouldve been the only logical choice
10. i for one will if norwich get promoted will be donating my winnings from my bet placed yesterday to help for heroes
11. gunn pardew is by all accounts no different to roeder, makes derisory comments, insults fans, and lets face it, even after spending a fortune at charlton and west ham got the sack because they werent doing well once spent all the money, i really dont think pardew would be he sort of manager we need at this club
12. if we have one or two loanees for a season then theres no problem how many of you would be glad to see bertrand back on loan or evans back on loan or even lita on a season long loan,
13. people are pleased because theres a price tag applied, just like they wouldve been pleased with dickinson becuse theres a fee involved, however i think this could be a potentialy good signing, hes a winger, and doesnt have to bad a cross on him,
14.

What do you base that on?
check his stats on derbys website, but hey why let the facts get in the way of us signing a player for money, doesnt matter if hes crap hes cost some money which oh yeah must be better then having a freebie
He didnt play for Derby at Championship level, now why dont you run along and look up his stats for Stockport in the lower leagues where Norwich will be playing for the next decade or so .
yeah he did so well at leeds last season, and huddersfield last season, derby obviously thought he was so great they palmed him out on loan the minute they realised he wasnt up to much kop, but hey dont let facts get in the way of you wanting us to sign a player that just like cureton his one true goal scoring season is 3 years behind him.
15.
What do you base that on?
check his stats on derbys website, but hey why let the facts get in the way of us signing a player for money, doesnt matter if hes crap hes cost some money which oh yeah must be better then having a freebie
16. dickinsons goal scoring record is worse then curetons, so why would we be better off with him,
17. to be honest i dont expect anyone will come in for a fee, this is because i believe we have no money available, or gunn is being shrewd in thinking what fund he has if needed to would be used to bolster the squad come january, wat ever happens tho, i am hoping fingers crossed we do have a gem amongst the trialist, and hopefully well sign powell, looks a handy player,
18. the rebate issue is dead and gone, those that took it i say had every right to take it back, those that didnt had every right not to , but to say weve been conned because its not gone on the transfer kitty is stupid, read the articles, they said the rebate would go into the player fund, this means player fund, couldve been wages, more then likely this is where its gone, have they lied no because it has gone in to the players fund,
19. brighton are welcome to him, 300k for a player that has been playng senior level football since 2002 and has scored 56 gaols since 2002, wow wat a damn shame we missed out on such a prolific striker, jeez get a grip, id rather pay the 300k on securing the likes of a decent winger who can cross the ball in for the strikers weve already got and have some left over to pay for a signing on fee for powell,
20. who cares, dickinsons goal ratio averages at about 5.3 goals a season, cosnidering hes been been senior team at all his clubs since 2002 thats not good, so they can keep him for all i care,
21. whose to say our club is run any differently to brighton, its obvious tho that we dont have a 100k available so because of the way the club has been run we do need the wealthy backer to bank roll a 100K transfer.
22. the problem that we have is that money talks, even if we could raise 100k brighton could afford a higher wage on the hope they get promoted because they have the wealthy backer, and we were never told that the rebate money would go into a transfer fund, what we were told was it would go into the player fund, clever bit of spin because this easily couldve meant players wages and not transfer fees, and yeah 18500 fans would easily be enough for a decent club wage budget or it should be but it clearly isnt because of the extra expenses used for running the club and the luxury expenses that are pointlessly being spent
23. yes you do in modern football, modern football is all about the money, clubs like ours have to budget because we dont have the wealthy backer,
24.

you dont need to spend money to find quality players, many clubs have signed excellent players after trialing the ones out of contract, just because there free doesnt mean there crap, all it means is they either didnt renew there contract with the club or the club cost cut on contracts, and how many players are bought and sold that turn ut to be crap, we all know norwich have a few turkey buys, jarrett, hughes, brown, strihavka, cureton, colin, russell, fozzy, robinson, croft, all players who lets face where pretty dire, and all players we spent a fee for,
More often than not it is just what it means , wait untill the season starts and our freebies are struggling in the bottom half then maybe the penny will drop .
but will you be complaining if those freebies are top of table after a few weeks, im not saying they will be but we are a league one club with no money, we have to live by our means and if those means mean we have to use freebies then thats what has got to happen, im not saying its the ideal situation and im not apollagising for the way the club is but we have to realistic now, there is no point in ruining the club financial to suit everyone who thinks we should spend money on a gamble which with our track record any money spent on a player will be, if we are to get a championship quality striker the only way we are gonna get one is by the loan system or a freebie who really wants to play for us, not ideal but its what the club can afford, and theres no point in people saying well we couldve afforded one if people hadnt taken there rebate because thats hogwash, the rebate money simply has been put into the day to day running of the team, with maybe a little bit for signing on fees available hence the freebies so far.
25. simple reason we cant compete with these two teams is because WE HAVE NO MONEY, brighton are bankrolled by a multimillionaire whose willing to nvest in the club we aint, and were would you rather play, league one or championship, simple fact yes weve got the ground yes weve got the fans, ut we aint got the money and we aint a top club anymore, we have to think like a league one club now and league one clubs bring in from lower leagues and freebies, with loans and the occasional buy.
