1. robbins would be my choice, with boothroyd as a second, also think webb could possibly do a job for us aswell, did well at kings lynn and knows how to run a budget, wouldnt say no to mick harford or even malky mckay, but would defintaly be happy if it was robbins as manager,
2. gunns a legend, he was a fantastic player for the club, a greatly dedicated person to norwich, took us to our highest ever league place as a player with a great team around him as a manager he was weak but still he gave it a try dont begrudge him for wanting to try after all he loves the club and who wouldnt want to manage there fave club, unfortunately he didnt do well but it wont change the fact that as a player hes a huge role model for what norwich needs as a player, dedicated and devoted to the club, which we are greatly lacking player wise. the guy has dedicated nearly 25 years to the club and for that we should be happy to call him a legend, i for one although was against his appointment wished he couldve been given the chance to prove me wrong, unfortunately he didnt and he should never of given him a chance of a new contract but cant blame him for wanting to put his mistake right but it didnt work,
3. i for one am looking forward to it, hopefully well have a new manager in and hopefully the team can start to perform, but thats not the only reason this will be my sons first trip to see norwich play and i know how much it meant to be at the first game i ever saw with my dad that im looking forward to that with my son. so im hoping for a win to kick start my boys dream time at carrow road.
4.
Finally some sense!!!! Thank **** for that!! Would take this anyday over JFH!!!
agreed, hopefully this is true as it would finally be some experience and a manager that actually has experience nad is a yellow and green blooded manager,
5.
Last word from me. Bigfeller, let me just say I appreciate you well-written and considered opinions. I think you are being too quick to praise the board for this move, but it''s good to see someone has some optimism for the future, even if I don''t share it!
i agree, but i do have optimism because i have to believe there is away forward for the club, good times at NCFC here they come, (hopefully)
6. well enough about gunn what are your predictions for the score for todays game i think well win 3 - 2
7.

Sheesh. First, we haven''t appointed Hasselbaink yet, and I''d like to think it''s just his agent bigging him up. Second - so what? Does being a part of years of success at Celtic, years of stability at Fulham, then appointing someone who turned into an absolute masterstroke not count at all?firstly we need someone to succeed gunn, secondly we need someone with experience, and according to radio norfolk weve interviewed hasselbank who has no experience as a manager, if he is appointed it would be because the board wish it, some masterstroke getting rid of a manager who won 4 - 0 against yeovil and bought in 12 new players and went unbeaten in a preseason against a championship side and a premiership side and possible one of the best youth teams in the country man u.
The manager was clueless beyond belief. He even changed a system that had worked great in preseason for another one as soon as the actual campaign began! He didn''t know what he was doing; he had to go.And to repeat: we haven''t appointed JFH yet! Or are you going to react to everyone we might be linked with and assume their appointment is imminent?
i never said he wasnt clueless and i agree he shouldve gone but he shouldve gone in june if not he shouldve been given at least 6 games into the season, and i was always against his appointment in the first place but what we need is someone with expereince we should be interviewing thos with that experience not those with none, i wouldnt react so badly if the news was saying we had interviewed mark robbins or aidy boothroyd or coppell as they all have experience and would be a step in the right direction, and no where did i say he was on the verge of signing,
8.

yeah ok well be on the road to success if hasselbank is appointed will we, ok i made a mistake about his appointing hodgeson but fulham had there most successfull season once he had left them,
Sheesh. First, we haven''t appointed Hasselbaink yet, and I''d like to think it''s just his agent bigging him up. Second - so what? Does being a part of years of success at Celtic, years of stability at Fulham, then appointing someone who turned into an absolute masterstroke not count at all?
firstly we need someone to succeed gunn, secondly we need someone with experience, and according to radio norfolk weve interviewed hasselbank who has no experience as a manager, if he is appointed it would be because the board wish it, some masterstroke getting rid of a manager who won 4 - 0 against yeovil and bought in 12 new players and went unbeaten in a preseason against a championship side and a premiership side and possible one of the best youth teams in the country man u.
9. yeah ok well be on the road to success if hasselbank is appointed will we, ok i made a mistake about his appointing hodgeson but fulham had there most successfull season once he had left them,
10. if jfh is appointed manager league 2 here we come, i would of thought we would of had more sense, obviously if this is true then mcnappy has no clue how to run a club, no wonder fulham got rid of him, had there most successfull seson once hed left, gunn out, mcnappy out if he signs jfh
11. but gunns unbeaten record as manager is 51 percent, he won 6 games in charge and drew 5 games and lost 10 thats not including the preseason where if included would total 13 wins, 6 draws and 10 losses, which isnt a bad percentage,
12. would gunn still have been sacked if we hadnt of lost by such a big margin, or we had of won that game
13. why would any new manager want to come here, were a shambles, would the new board sack him if we lose heavily again this season, do we really want to end up like newcastle with numbers of new managers in a season because were not going in the direction we should be, if mcnally was so good why hasnt he still got his job at fulham, who seem to be doing so much better since he left, doesnt seem right it was a unanimous decision as foulger, smith and jones all love gunn, and if he did have a player mutiny why did they win 4 - 0 in the following game, when roeder and grant lost the team we lost most games, and if its true that were linked with lawrie sanchez then that would be mcnallys decision mcnally wasnt in charge at fulham when hodgson was appointed, he was however when coleman was sacked and replaced with sanchez, wise move there by mcnally i think not
14. what we need is a manager, no point in having a name, remember roeder was a name and look what happened there,
15. would any of you like him as manager, managerial experience, worked at big clubs, knows the players, knows the club, has seen them work well in preseason and against yeovil
16.

Forget why,how and when - the fact is that it''s the RIGHT decision, that after all is the only important issue!
Indeed. Given his appalling record, should we have waited eight games and been eighteenth in the league before doing it? The worst managerial stats I''ve seen at our club, even worse than Hamilton''s. Cheerio.
and well never know if we wouldve been in 18th place, remember we won 4 - 0 against a team in the same league, , holt has found his striking boots and cody has linked well with holt, two players signed by gunn, alnwick also performed well a player signed by gunn on loan, and this is the first time in ages we actually have some youth in the side that is our own home grown, adeyemi will be a regular, this was gunns idea, im not trying to defend gunn as i felt he was wrong for the job but with his own team hes buitl theyve actually with preseason included won 7 drawn 1 lost 1, and yes gunn was head of recruitment but do you honestly think that the tosser roeder listened to him
17. mcnally was in chief exec when gunn was appointed in may, strikes as desperation to appease some fans and to avoid another mishap like roeder and grant, i cant help thinking they decided this monday before the game at yoevil and werent banking on the win, but because they have to give a set time of working out the week they where stuck with the decision, i think this was another bad call the norwich board have made, yes we lost 7 - 1 but gunn but gunn mde the right choice and dropped the players that didnt perform and we won, showed some balls to do that and i believe he got that right shocked yes at his sacking, surprised no shouldnt of been given the job anyway, panic , yes obviously this is a rash decision due to the 7 - loss and because i dont think this board is capable of a master plan for the club, after all it is still run by alas smith and jones,
18. i think well lose as the team has been uprooted after a win, the players will be thinking why and there minds will be on will the new manager want to bring in his own players.
19. i have to say i think this is realy bad timing, i know im going to be slated but with transfer window stlll open i really think well have a team upheavel with the new manager in, and i think hools and adeyemi will be gone as will mcdonald and holt, i cant help think this was to soon, and what happens next for us, if by october were stlll mid table will they sack that manager, why would any manager want to come here knowing now that if you have a bad result and a few fans complain then you could get the sack. i was never a fan of gunns appointment but i do think this is sheer stupidity so early in the season, and whos to say any appointment is going to be any better.
20. well just booked hes jumpig round the room going yay, got row A in the norwich and peterborough stand, hopefully his first game wont be his last lol, itll be my first game since 2000 so think just as much looking forward to it as he is,
21. its a treat for his 5th birthday, and which end of jarrold stand is the away fans
22. taking my son to his first norwich game against wycombe, anyone help with where the best seats are,
23. questions should we get rid of theo, yes or no, and please remember gunn did conced 7 goals himself and we went on to have our most successful season in the top flight that season with gunn between the sticks, should we of got rid of gunn back then or was right to stick by him and if it was rght to stick by him why is it not right to stick by theo
24. yeah doc should be shot, but i wouldnt ask the norwich forwards to do it as hed stil be standing after 90 minutes
25. simple he should go now, we should appoint deehan as manager, at least hes a experienced manager and he does know the players
