1. Brendan Rodgers was given permission to speak to Liverpool.  Cant blame him either, one of europes truly great clubs.  He revives their fortunes and hes a legend, if he doesnt then hes financially secure for the rest of his life and he gave it a good go.   The board should have let him speak to Villa.   And Cluck, its not form.  Its the only way he has been able to better himself.  I personally dont blame the bloke for anything.
2. He gets the Villa job.  Transforms the team and leads them to the brink of champions league football, picking up a few tasty scalps on the way.  Then in 2/3 years time when Fergie calls it a day he gets the big big job he deserves.   The bloke is pure class.  Why would anyone have any reason to think he would fail.  I wish him the best of luck.
3. OMFG has the world gone mad.  Hes got form on this!!! No he hasnt.  Norwich are a bigger club than Colchester, colchester said no off he want.  Aston Villa are a bigger club than Norwich, Norwich said no so off he goes.  Its not form, its an ambitious young manager bettering himself.  Hes 42, why wait here for the infastructure to be put in place when its ready made at Aston Villa.   Good luck Paul Lambert.  This is no ones fault, not Lamberts and not the Clubs.  Lets just get on with it.
4. Anyone who says AVB or Pep Guardiola is not being ambitious they are being f*****g stupid.   Ambition and realism can work together.  I want Gus Poyet.
5. No, he wanted to speak to Aston Villa and the club said no.  I would have done exactly the same as Paul Lambert.   Dave Whelan is a great example of how a chairman should deal with this situation.  Saying no to Burnley was the right thing to do, but whatever way we look at this Aston Villa are a bigger club.  McNally should have let him go and talk.  Lambert would be happy and we would know what we are playing against.
6. Lee Clarke would be a decent shout and he would cost nothing.  Thought the bloke was shafted by Huddersfield so hes an option. I think we should try and get similar to what we had.  My personal favourite choice would be Gus Poyet, hes almost done a Lambert with Brighton and they are a much smaller club than us.  His team gets the ball down and plays too so for me he has to be high on the list. But I would like to say thanks to Paul Lambert for everything he''s done.  He more than deserved the opportunity to speak to Aston Villa, who knows if McNally had done a Whelan and said go on then, go and have a chat then there is the outside chance he would still be here (ala Martinez). Nobody should be forced to stay anywhere.  And Lambert is a strong character so this was always going to sour things.  Lets just hope we can negotiate a big compensation package to bump up the transfer budget. I will say this though.  If the name Mick McArthy even gets mentioned for the Norwich job i''m finished with football forever!!!!!!!
7. I think Ruddy is fast proving himself to be one the best keepers in England.  Every week he proves what he is capable of, and every week we see how he reacts under pressure something that we rarely get to see with Joe Hart.  I personally think he deserves a shout and should have at least a squad place. On another point I am really pleased that Rob Green has another chance.  I think the way he was treated at the world cup was disgraceful, I also believe that the ay he was treated affected every member of the squad.  From that point onwards we played with fear and nervousness.  He deserves his second shot.
8. I''m putting that down to being simply a bad day at the office.  Over the course of a 38 game league season and however many game cup run we are goingto have half a dozen of these.  MK Dons in the league cup and Sunderland last night are the only ones I can name so far this season.  Man City perhaps, but they do have a world class team.  And possibly West Brom in the league a couple of weeks ago, but dont forget we nicked the points there without playing well. So far on balance this year we have been very good.  One match isnt going to make or break our season.  Plus I have faith in Lambert that we are going to play very differently in the next one. Another potential factor is that our opponents will no longer be underestimating little old Norwich.  Expect matches to get much harder for us over the coming weeks.  We will be more than fine, with our manager I am confident that we will be able to more than hold our own!!!
9. This is a very good signing IMO.  Highly rated when he burst on the scene a few years ago, and as someone pointed out club captain at an early age.  And from what I have seen of him a very good all round midfielder.  Could he be our Damian Francis bombing on and getting amongst the goals.
10. I would happily eat bacon every single day.  I would also happily eat either a Crunchy or Reeces Nutrageous every day too.
11. My money is on Bob Bradley, especially with Sunderland having a yank owner. Too many good managers without a job for this to be a worry. And Sunderland isnt the nicest place in the world.
12. I agree that Sony will eventually move to a paid online system. Its such a revenue generator, and online gaming is so popular that I believe it is inevitable I also think Sony will struggle to keep up with the next generation of consoles. Microsoft are bigger, stronger and richer than most and will have a more substantial R & D budget. Plus there specialist area is programming, so they will be able to focus on this. If you read articles regarding this then many developers claim that the coding system is more complicated on the PS3 than the XBOX. I think this time both are absolutely level with very little to call between them. But I do think that Sony have got their work cut out when the next generation of consoles are due. I can also see a 4th competitor in the market in the shape of Apple. Especially if the rumoured interactive Apple TV ever becomes a reality.
13. And if they can hack PSN they can just as easily hack the XBOX system. These people break into just about anywhere. Its an irrelevant comment in the grand scheme of things.
14. Oh for god sake. I also own both but cant really be bothered to argue with you...Doesnt matter what I say you will find a clever fan boy answer.
15. There isnt a comfortable winner. Its like comparing a mercedes and a bmw. At the end of the day both have great usp''s, both are fantastic and both pretty much cost the same. Its down to personal preference and possibly brand loyalty. I reckon if you gave Mr XBOX fanboy a PS3 for 3 months he would love it. Same applies to Mr PS3. You can argue for weeks, there is nothing in it.
16. This really does read like 2 people bickering about such miniscule details. Can either of you honestly say that there is any notable difference between the consoles. Because to my eye the games look identical. GT5 is awesome, so is the new forza. COD is just about identical on both. GTA4 if it was scaled down for the XBOX I cant tell the difference. It is funny listening to 2 fanboys fighting it out though!!!!
17. I agree with Bethnal, how many people still call our stands the South Stand and River End, I know I do. Football is big business these days and if Newcastle feel they can get a competitive advantage this way then good luck to them. Those opposed to the change should wake up and get with the times. I personally would have no problem with NCFC doing exactly the same.
18. I was there, my first ever away game. What the video doesnt show is the entire Holt end running on the pitch at the end to confront all the norwich fans chanting Liverpool, Liverpool. Very funny day...
19. As an absolutely massive internation company rest assured that the holiday inn do not open ventures without doing some homework first. Expect the hotel to turn things around in due course.
20. Might not be the most PC comment I have ever posted, but she almost definately get it
21. My biggest worry is Everton or maybe Bolton, clubs like that. But neither have really got any money either so would be a sideways step. There is no reason why we cant attract 35,000+ every match. Which easily matches us in terms of size. Paul Lambert/McNally strike me as intelligent men who like projects. Our club is certainly an exciting one. I think they will both stick around for a good couple more seasons at least and see what they can achieve. The longer we keep playing well the more likely we are to attract investment. Imagine what Lambert could achieve if he had a proper transfer budget.
22. If he is good enough stick him in. Never know, maybe they will nick the floodlights for scrap and save everyone from the bloody irritating restricted viewing seats!!!!!! Joking aside. I do have a problem with the traveller community. I dont like the non-payment of tax for the majority of them. I dont like the carnage and filth they always seem to leave behind. Although that aside, they few travellers who I actually know are really nice people. Perhaps they have got it right and the rest of us have got it wrong. You wont find the same family ethics among us ''normal'' people.
23. I think it keeps everyone motivated to stay on their toes in training. They could get the nod at any time to start, and lets not forget for most of these boys playing in the prem is a boyhood dream. I think it is as much motivational as tactical. Its also nice to see everyone get their chance, god knows they deserve it after the last couple of seasons.
24.

I know it''s been talked about before, but I have just had the Red Ring of death appear on my XBox, recommendations please for new console. I use it for occasional gaming and DVDs.
Get your Xbox fixed under warranty.
Definitely the best thing to do, I think that you can still get it fixed for free. And, Xbox''s are far better than PS3''s anyway.
Such an annoying comment. In what way is the XBox better than the PS3, in what way is the PS3 better than the XBox? Simple answer, neither is better than the other. Both have positives, both have negatives. They are pretty much, much of the muchness. Perhaps you should have put, I THINK Xbox is better than PS3.
25. I cant stand West Ham and Manchester United. I would say I hate West Ham with a passion, I dislike Manchester United but cant help admiring their achievements. You could add Ipswich to the list, but I dont really hate them. I enjoy it when we play them, and I would like them to do well so we can play them again.
